Thank you for the reminder that homemaking IS important. I often find myself frustrated of the repetitive and sometimes monotonous home tasks. Your videos give us (me at least) to find other ways to make our “mommy tasks” more enjoyable. Thank you for the relaxing and informative videos!
Agreed Hannah 👍 😊
I absolutely agree
Being at a job and doing repetitive tasks isn't fun either. Also, you have a boss on your back. While I couldn't handle having so many children, being home and doing homemaker things seem wonderful to me.
@@jennifermanian1420 I'm sorry you're having such a hard time with your job. I think there are positives and negatives to each situation but if your heart is to be home pray that God will open that door. You are a great mom either way so don't be bitter or feel like you've been cut short. My mom worked a lot but kept an amazing home too, so it's possible.
Thank you for not apologizing for your kids making noise in the background or interrupting you. It’s part of life!
Homemaking, and the cooking, cleaning, child rearing and maintenance that go with it are becoming a lost art. Just think what it would cost to pay someone to paint your family room, makeover those curtains, or watch your beautiful family! Homemaking is priceless. I love your videos.
I love this, Lisa. Especially with the state of our world (and my country especially 🇨🇦) it is so important to love our families well, keep doing what God has called us to as mothers. Thanks for being a wonderful example 💕
Amen sister in faith.
A refreshing video. I love homemaking. I wish that others would learn to love their homes. Thank you for being an example.❤️
Why you gotta wish what other ppl should love to do
@@RebeccaDuran1995 Everyone likes to wish .. It’s part of life 😁
@@tommy..980 wish for yourself then
@@tommy..980 I think her point was that wishing for yourself is great but wonderful things for others. Not necessarily what is “important” for others. We are all blessed with individuality. Gifts, talents & passions. Things that are important or gratifying for you may not be for someone else. What we should probably wish for everyone is health, happiness, peace & acceptance.
I have always said, “I have children because I LOVE to repeat myself”😂😂😂. You are absolutely right, it’s repetitive and too often, undervalued. Thank you for sharing your journey with those of us that are eager to learn and share🥰
I really likes this video Lisa. More elements of daily life. More interaction with the kids. Very nice. I'm a mother of 12. Been homemaking for 32 years. I was teaching my 13 yr old son to make bread this morning. I've taught him 2 different kinds in hopes of making him the family breadmaker. 😊
Everyone wants a home :)
Can only happen with a home maker!
God bless all home makers.
Most important career...making a home, raising a family.
Blessing a husband or wife
Love the video. Children in the background just makes it even better.
I’ve always loved all domestic chores. I live alone now but still enjoy my “cleaning day”. Your home is beautiful cozy and comfortable and your children are precious!!!
Just what I needed today. Your videos are such a calming influence, Lisa. Simply beautiful. ❤
Agreed!
Your videos is so natural ...I love the way you handle your kids n your houseworks..😍
Thank you for the encouraging words. I love the flour that is always all over the baby wrap, it makes me smile every time.
Absolutely loving these homemaking videos! God bless all of you amazing women watching this ♥️
Hey Lisa, definitely your words at the end encourage me. I'm a first time mom and it's hard adjusting to homemaking. I've been watching your videos for almost 2 years now. Really enjoy watching your family grow and you being a great mother. God bless you and your family. ❤️
Blessings to you and yours ! I sometimes miss those days when we were raising all seven of our children , but know I wouldn’t have the energy anymore ! I babysit my two grandchildren occasionally and am worn out when they leave ! It’s nice to relive through your homemaking ! It’s exhausting but the rewards will be there long after the children are grown !
One day with the grandkids and 2 days to recover
@@joymorrison6614 yes 😂
I do not want home making to become a lost art. Thank you for showing the beautiful benefits of creating a home for you and your family ❤
You truly are a virtuous woman, for your price is beyond rubies. I love watching you cook and take care of your home, you inspire me to do better in my own home.
Thank you.
You're fun to follow. I miss my country home, an old schoolhouse that we renovated. When my husband had a brain injury, we moved to a one-level townhome for an easier life. I still fantasize about what more we would have done if his health would not have failed him. My garden would have been more extensive! Lol, Enjoy these days; it goes by fast!
I’m sorry about the loss of your dreams.
@@cynthiafisher9907 Thank you, sometimes we have to change our dreams. I do have a flower garden; it's just a smaller one. I go for long walks now and enjoy looking at others' gardens.
@@shirleygermain5707 That is very commendable. It sounds like you’re turning lemons into lemonade!
Thank you for your graceful way of motivating us. When your son wanted to stick the sample on his own way up high, you said “your not tall enough” the way he looked at you and answered “yes I am” I LOVED IT” that shows the self confidence and convictions you teach him. God bless you and your sweet family. Your doing an awsome job!!
That was cute! I guess kids don't really see sizes. They can be as big as they want to be.
Our culture seems to devalue the role of mother and homemaker nowadays. I think it is the most important job and you are doing great work. It can really wear me down some days and other days my heart is overflowing with graititude for the opportunity to mother my children and tend to the homestead! Thank you for sharing!
Oh Lisa, this was so refreshing...the 'running out of time', the pausing to let your kids talk to you. It's all real and I so appreciate this! I'm a very, very, very small creator lol and at times can get frustrated with myself when I'm filming and I hear my kids in the background being so loud, but I need to realize this is their home too. Thank you for the reminder!
I love to see and hear your children including the interruptions. As a mom, this is reality and part of my life as well. It’s encouraging to watch you living the same “mom life” so gracefully. ❤️
OMG. WHAT is that above ur mantle in ur bedroom???... ABSOLUTELY AHHHHMAZING
Lisa, you look so pretty after having your baby. I just look pale, skinny, like zombie... and weak. And is my second baby, c section... plus the postpartum depression doesn't help. Trying to follow your example and be decent mother to my kids. I love your videos.
Your comment made me sad. You've accomplished so much, you are strong and beautiful. Keep striving mama. Prayers for your strength.
Tania L: I’m praying that you see yourself as beautiful and lovely. You may feel weak at the moment, but it’s because you have birthed 2 amazing children and you will get your strength back. It just takes time. Be patient with yourself. Know that you are unique, one of a kind, and in this world for such an important assignment. God has chosen YOU to raise those beautiful children and He will give you all you need to do so. Just ask Him for what you need. Keep running your race well, not looking to the right or left to compare with anyone else. And find yourself a “running partner”, someone who encourages you each day to keep on going strong. Much love to you and your sweet family. ❤️
I echo her healthy home! you're body birthed a human being & that alone makes it beautiful. give yourself grace! I'm walking around in mom jeans that hide everything... ;)
Dear Lisa
Thank you for your video. I couldn’t think of a more serene and joyous way to start my day. I always love the presentation of the videos and the music you choose. Well done.
Blessings to you and yours
Tess
you are so welcome!
Hi dear Lisa you use a lot of linen fabric. Here in Greece we use it only for clothes and they are expensives. For the winter we use flannel sheets because are warmer.
I love these kinds of videos from you. It feels so comforting.
I was a stay at home mom and we are now empty nesters. I wish I had your videos back then to keep me going! Being a mom at home full time is a thankless job but I’m so glad I did it. You are doing a beautiful job devoting your life to your family & home! The payoff is tremendous in the long run! This is not to downplay parents that work outside the home. They raise beautiful families too! It’s a very personal decision.
I am a subscriber and love your videos! Keep ‘em coming!
You are so so right. Everything you are doing for your family is very important!!🥰
Thank you for another beautiful video Lisa!! 💕❤️🙏🏼
I am going to try and do bread daily too!! I’m still so excited that my sourdough starter is doing awesome and still alive 😂😅
My husband loved your sourdough English muffins! And he said the pancakes were the best pancakes he’s ever had! And I’m happy because my tummy doesn’t give me troubles after eating bread like “normal” bread!! So it’s a win, win!! 💕
Much Love from Oregon 🌲🌲💕❤️🙏🏼 ~Trina~
Me to the gluten factor is so true but sour dough in my case is great.
Loving that your kids want to be involved in everything you do!
Peace ✌️
I love seeing these real life videos of being mom, wife, homemaker, etc. I feel so alone, but it’s so lovely to see a true to life video on your everyday life. Thank you! I always enjoy your content!
Also, have you already answered questions on what your older kids do during the day? Homeschool, public school? Other activities? Thanks so much!
You are such a wonderful mom and wife you devote so much time and energy into your daily routine .I love how you cook from scratch
My children are grown snd married and I am a grandma three times.
I am gluten free daily and soy free any ideas
Homemaking is so important. The drapery looks lovely, Lisa. Adore your little ones. Love seeing TJ's little feet sticking out.
It is just wonderful to see your patience with the little ones!! You could do entire lessons on patience!! I love coming along on your days on the farm. Can't wait to see the curtains...you are incredible!!!
Thank you again for such a great example of enjoying our homes
Have a blessed day 🙏😊
Your words at the end were a balm to my soul today.
Thank you I love videos on decorating or refreshing your home gardening and Recipes. I have been refreshing my home up for Spring. I started using what I had , I moved the dining room curtains to the living room and bought a nice size area rug. Then bought new curtains for my bedroom and Dining Room. Just love it all.
I was about to say, "Wow, beautiful color on your bread!" And then you said it was over baked. Personally, that's how dark I bake our bread, we love it. 😆
Great video! Love watching you and your family!
I bake my bread like that as well!! I love a thick crunchy brown crust!
The crunch made my mouth water!
Same here! Actually, the color of the bread makes a great color for the living room🤗
I am soooo ready for Spring! I love winter, but we've been hit with sickness constantly. Your home is beautiful! I love doing handmade decor and you've inspired me to get back to it as well as some handmade clothing! ❤️🌼
I used to be sooo overwhelmed with helping around the house (I still live with my parents and still single) cleaning, cooking, decluttering, and decorating bc I always want to it all to be perfect but since watching your vids I’ve become so much more relaxed about all of that and have found myself to be even more productive. Praying I maintain this when I have a family of my own like yours. Thanks Lisa!
i just found your channel and i'm so thankful i did!!! what a great way to display God's will for mothers. Thanks for the encouragement.
Homemaking is very important work. I was happy to hear you say that! Also, I really admire how patient and calm you are with your children.
Homemaking is one of those simple and most satisfying jobs..so rewarding for everyone👏👍..Love, Liz❤️
Very motivational video. I always believed that you were teaching us for the future. Making homemade bread, growing more veggies, cooking with what you have, learning to change things up as opposed to buying new...is the future of now. Thank you.
Lisa you lead a life to be envied. I am in awe of how you seem to have a simple ( although very busy ) and pure life and I am finally at the point in my life where I have become more of a " homemaker" and I love it. I have been using your sourdough recipes on the regular and have a very healthy sourdough starter going that I feed and have started calling it my pet . Haha . Your blog and videos are very inspiring to me . I also love how much light comes into your living room. So refreshing!
Wow! The amount of stuff you get done is absolutely amazing!! I love that you take the time to do a little more than just the usual cooking, cleaning, washing, and so on...feels like you really enjoy it!
Hi Lisa,. Haven't watched for a limit while....soooooo enjoyed your show today. I made curtains like that approximately 40 years ago with those curtain prongs to make drapes and on that drapery tape. It was new then....they work great. I sewed the panels together for wide, wide windows and sliders.....have a great day. Baby is getting big....lots of love
Such a wonderful reminder that a mothers work is very important. Love your channel
Danny you are so big! Love seeing you cooking with your mom, such a great helper. 😊
Love your videos. I love hearing the kids.❤
Thank you for what you said at the end. It made me emotional.
Lisa you should try to put your samples in different areas so you can see the light how it changes those colors.
I appreciate ya and all your videos.
I love how the young ones especially Daniel seem to want to always be with you and doing! Adorable!
We are in process of renovating our whole house, we chose the color “edgecomb grey” from Benjamin Moore and I couldn’t be happier, it’s a “Greige” but not too grey. Check it out if you haven’t chose already! Thank you for this video! It’s so nice to feel like I’m not alone in the sometimes mundane tasks 💕
We used Edgecomb Grey for our whole house, too, and we love it and get lots of compliments on it! :)
Same here!!!
You’re so right Lisa, “homemaking is important work” 👍🏻😉.
Girl today’s video showed you with the patience of Job with all the little ones helping you out. The bedding was awesome as was the curtains. Great job.
Oh Danny. What a doll ♥️
Doing what you do day in and day out is so important…thank you for taking us along🙏🏻❤️
Your videos always are so peaceful for me and comforting. I love watching you and your children interact with each other in the kitchen and elsewhere. There are times I know it’s hard to talk about things with the little ones talking, but it’s totally okay and real life and all mothers have been there. I love the days that I’m home and not working at my job. Those days I have more time making things for my family.
I admire you so much for your homemaking abilities.
I wish there were women like you, sharing their beautiful talents when I was growing up and starting my own family.
What a treasure you are!
💙
Probably my favorite video yet… so real abs encouraging 👊🏼💪🏼☺️🙏🏼
I really like the background music. Thank you for using calming music 🎶 💜.
The sheets are beautiful, but only a dream for most people at that price.
Lisa, love your content and your channel! Just discovered you last week and I'm hooked! Love from central California!😀❤
My sister is obsessed with linen. She bought loads of fabric and has been sewing away. She sent me kitchen towels for Christmas and they are the best. She's making sheets, curtains, nightgowns, and so much more. Thanks for sharing your homemaking vlog.💕
Sherwin Williams has a neat color with tan and gray mixed called "Perfectly Greige." My whole house is done in tans and off whites as I find gray a little depressing to me but I'm going to try my newfound color in my master bath. Thanks for sharing your projects and your sweet littles. You are a great mother!
I like the last sample colour, warm, more "saturated" than what is there currently, but still a fresh change. Just my 2 cents worth. Thanks for sharing...you are correct, homemaking is way more important than most realize. To all of the young Moms, especially, your work is known and important! 🤗
I have the same idea like you :) - the last colour is really nice🤗
You are an amazing, loving woman. I keep you in prayer for many reasons but mostly because you’re raising such solid children ❤️
You have the calmest baby!
Well said! Daily Life Matter’s!
You make it look like a Dance!
Gracefully w/ interruptions & children coming & going!
Bravo!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Your sweet helper. Daniel! I remember you carrying him around like theo.
Your house is so beautiful! Your bedroom looks so fresh.
I think you are adorable .. I love how you live a simple life , cook easy holesome meals and reminds me of the 25 acres farm that I grew up on in Washington state .. so cute how you carry your growing baby as you cook move about and get so much done in your home .. I like your plants snd love following you .. happy spring 🌷🌷🌷we have tulips and daffodils ready to bloom xo
Ive never seen paint samples as big as these and in sticker form. Great idea. Love watching your projects
I dpent my day making 2 different kinds of cookies to give away.
Love baking!.
Homemaking is the hardest and most important job in the world. I love making a home for my family and couldn’t be happier doing so.
Loved this. So sweet and perfectly ordinary 🥰
I'm fairly new to watching/following/being a-mazed by you...you are an inspiration to me to get things in order in my own home and make as much as I can with my own hands. I can't go as far as you do with the cow and all of that, but I can make so many changes to live healthier and more in touch with nature and my own skills. I'm so excited to learn from you and see where this goes. I've been wanting to do this for awhile now, so you're the catalyst to get started. Thank you so much for sharing your life, your home, children..everything..with me so I can create a better life, too.
Sharing how important home making is truly blessed me! Thank you, Lisa. ♥️
At least once a week I “over bake” something lol. Usually not a total loss just extra crispy 😉
I think parents often feel like this but especially stay at home moms! Thank you for keeping it real for us💜💜
LOVE THIS! Real life and an important message to Moms that is full of TRUTH. Blessings 🤗
A homemaker is just that. Making a home for you and your family. Lisa, you do it beautifully! I wish you were doing these when I was young and raising our 4 children! I really like your videos and I am inspired! Kathy Jensen(senior citizen!)♥️
These homemaking videos are my favorites. I'm thinking of putting light&airy curtains in my bedroom now. Thanks, Lisa!
you're so welcome!
Look at those pretty eggs! You work so hard. How old will Theo be when you don't have to carry him? I am sure you are tired at the end of your day! Kudos for giving of yourselves while your children are young. I stayed home with my two. It meant we couldn't afford to buy a home, but we wouldn't trade a thing. Forget the bread and get mom a nap!! Lol
Great accomplishments. I have just taken out my mom's pretty old bread maker, I know cheating right! I make one loaf a week. It's fun, keeping mom memories alive. She loved to bake. Love the curtains well done. Take care.
I’d love to know what your kids do for toys and how you organize and store them!
You have a beautiful family and you are doing a great job as a mother and homemaker. I love watching!
You are a marvelous example of a loving mother. America needs to come back to this way of living!
Awesome!!!
You’re so right! My 5 are all adults but the years I spent home w them was priceless. We shared many golden moments and made magical, wonderful memories.
I so admire ALL Mom's and Dad's who are doing the best that they can. Lisa, you are an amazing woman!
awe thank you!
I love how "real life" this video is!
Really fruitful and productive video and that what you are to me, Lisa! I really admire your zeal to improve your daily tasks. I love to see your little boys involved with your routine. God bless you and your beautiful family. Looking forward to more...
I’m looking forward to see which paint color you finally choose. I liked the one you were gravitating toward. Many blessings on your sweet home and all that live therein!
I have a goal of making one loaf a day too! I have a healthy starter thanks to your tips and tricks. Trying to keep it going and feed my family good things❤️
Thank you for the encouragement!
You are such a blessing to your family,Friends ,us all-thank you
Great paint tips! I chose a gray to lighten our living room/ dining room. After a whole day of trimming and painting it looked, and I kid you not, lavender! Our oak furniture pieces had an ugly orange hue!🤮 I took a Willow figurine with the subtle color of “safe” winter white and the associate matched it spot on. Another full day of trimming/painting but now we have a brighter room and there isn’t any stark contrast with the wood furniture. Lighting makes all the difference between a $63.00 purchase vs. a $126.00 purchase! Can’t wait to see the final result of your room! Thank you for the great encouragement you give to younger moms! It IS an important role! You build up by example, and I enjoy watching! 💐🥰🙌🏻
Lisa, thank you for your encouragement!
As always, thank you for sharing your life here. It’s so refreshing to see other people work at homemaking the way you do.
