Mom of nine, here. We do the exact same way. I say this to encourage moms to have and enjoy their children and not to worry about trivial things like dishes and laundry. Large families work and has been the biggest blessing of my life🕯🌿📯Merry Christmas
Iagree ! I have 3 and have been told i'm insane for wanting more. Although i'm 40 and im aware of some risks pf.peegancy after 40, i could have justo one more. People are such meddlers. Children make me so happy . They are the joy of My house . 💕💕💕💕 Happy holidays❤️
You're such a hard worker & a wonderful mother Lisa! You're husband is wonderful too & you two are a wonderful team! I love your channel. It's always so inspiring watching you cook for so many.
Looks like you people are looking for an argument. I’m not . I stated a fact is all. Did you people every hear of an opinion? For fact is all. Hot water, less water, less time equals dishwasher. Hey people do yours by hand in cold water not my problem or choice. Cold season hmm bet you people should heed warning!
As always you bless my morning with your presentation of family togetherness. What a blessing you are. I was thinking this morning that if people in my country would pitch in and work together like your family of 9 does, how wonderful a world that could be!
Yeah, that was one of my favorite parts, too! The beautiful, peaceful presentation of the moment, and then the reality - which reminds us all, "Oh yeah! These moments LOOK beautiful caught on camera & put to lovely music, but they're living real life, just like the rest of us!" 😅🙌
I love seeing how you’re keeping the younger kids busy at times and seeing more of Micah and Daniel and how you interact with them 💕 as a new mom I find it really helpful during those times to see an example
Lisa, you and Luke are amazing parents. It's so nice to see a family not sitting around staring at screens. You are teaching them life skills and that is a blessing. And you stay so calm. I love your videos, I always learn so much. Happy New Year to you and your family.
Helping is good. I help my husband with things that he takes the lead on, he helps me with things I take the lead on. We have different strengths and skillsets. Strong families dont fret "words" and-or who's helping who. They just get it done. Lisa and her husband dont seem like the types who would take issue with either of them saying "what can I do to help?" to eachother.
Wow! You are an amazing woman! Such a superwoman, cooking from scratch with a newborn (and all the other kids!) is serious skills. I'm inspired and in awe! And congratulations on your new addition. Hugs from Sweden ❤️
I love these DITL! Those glimpses of Theo were precious! Thanks for sharing your life! We’re living in our RV and it gives me hope that we’ll find a home in the country some day as I watch you!
I just love the way you cook. My husband and I blended our family, so in total we had 6 kids Cooking was very similar to the way you do it when it came time to use up all the bits left over at the end of the week. Everyone loved all the choices! I sometimes let the older kids try to help with coming up with a new idea for a leftover. They tell me now that task has helped them to become better cooks for their families now. You are one smart lady when it comes to involving the whole family in the daily tasks.
Love Love Love! What a wonderful family. I also love the grocery haul. Organic as much as possible and no junk food. These kids are so healthy and strong. I hope you find some time for yourself to rest. Keep those adrenals strong girl....
every time I watch the beautiful farmhouse on boone I think the same thing 🙏🏼 as someone with adrenal problems, I am amazed by anyone with this many pregnancies and that much energy.
Aw those baby hiccups are the cutest ♥️ I am pregnant with baby number two and I can’t wait for the newborn stage again. Also yes to laundry everyday! It truly makes a difference with little ones.
Your children are precious, Ive so enjoyed watching them interact and be curious. You are one very patient mom. Ive learned a lot watching your videos, Im even considering creating a starter and giving sourdough a try. I wish I had thought about using the baby wraps when I had mine, I would have loved that. Its the best of both, getting to snuggle and smell that baby breath and still get my laundry done! I had 4 but the last 2 were twins so I felt like it was more 🙃 Im glad to have found your channel, Im enjoying your videos very much. Thanks
You are a super mom! Home schooling, cooking 3 meals a day, laundry everyday, shopping for groceries, keeping up with youtube, blogging, Instagram, projects with the kids, taking care of a newborn and toddlers! I’m sure you’re doing so much more. You are inspiring!! I’m currently on my second pregnancy after 7 almost 8 years! I don’t know how you do it! I always wanted a big family but I don’t like being pregnant lol. It seems like it takes forever being pregnant!!!!! I’m tired 24/7!! I love the farm life as well I used to love going to my ex’s moms farmhouse. His grandmother and aunts and uncles all live on the same road. They’re all spaced out and have lakes in their backyards and a bunch of animals. My ex wasn’t the husband type to settle down tho. I wish he was! We just have kids together now. I love how peaceful it is as well. My ex grew up in both the city and country and he’d rather stay in the city which sucked as well!!! You’re a lucky mama!!
Farmhouse on the Boone is a well run family fun!!!❤️ Beautiful to watch all of family involved. I can feel your love for each other & your home! Blessings to all!🙏
I absolutely adore your beautiful family and your way of life! I admire how you all work together and help each other!Wouldn't it be wonderful if the world got back to this way of life? Blessings for a few minutes of rest for yourself.
I just watched the video your kids made and the comments are turned off 😭 i just came to say that was the MOST beautiful video! It literally brought tears to my eyes as i remembered when my daughter was that young (shes 17 now). Your daughter is your mini me, Lisa! Its obvious she loves her little life so much! I hope there will be another kids version of the farm life ❤️ God bless
I canned 14 jars of cranberries relish for the year ! This year I have been canning up a lot of food! It is a wonderful thing to shop from my food supplies! Made enough pasta sauce for a year ,and I love the convenience of just opening a jar and heating up for dinner ! Watching you making all your meals from scratch is so enjoyable, and I love all the videos !
Love the sweet music…then real family sounds! Also love the photo bomb kiddo while you were talking! That itty-bitty is growing, his eyes are so bright! I hope you can update us when Ruthie gets the photos selected. Parents today are so blessed to have the technology to take pictures and save them digitally. I don’t have many pictures and no videos. When I keep my friend’s kids, they love looking at pictures and videos of when they were younger. Love everything you do!
I am thrilled to say my husband insisted on a second laundry room upstairs. He didn't want me to be hoofing laundry up and down stairs. No laundry goes where it shouldn't. I love it!
Love your videos. Always reminds me of the times I spent on the farm with my grandmother; milking, gathering eggs, and all the others jobs that have to be done. Miss her lots. 🎄🎅
I love oxyclean for stains too, but I learned an even cheaper way to deal with berry stains from a friend. If you pour boiling water (from an electric kettle or regular tea kettle) over berry stains, the stain will almost completely come out right away. I usually lay the item in the sink, and pour boiling water over and let sit for a few minutes. Oxyclean is awesome, too, but boiling water is cheaper!
I have a little trick with laundry...buy only white towels and washcloths...that way all the white clothing can go in with the towels and u can bleach it all... that way u never get fuzzys on the dark clothes... i used to buy colored towels and was never a good sorter either lol my clothes always looked wrecked...doing it this way and eventually changing them all out to white made a HUGE difference...ps... u honestly have some of the prettiest kids!! That daughter that was baking is gorgeous! She looks a lot like her mama🥰
Love your cute family! What is the reasoning for always carrying the baby in the pouch so interesting! I always put my babies in their crib. Love all the new ways of doing things being an old grandma!
"I'm not super concerned about soap or hot water just so they're clean" 🤣 It makes me laugh every time you say this about dishes. If I chop veggies with a knife I'm definitely just running it under some warm water and putting it in the dish drainer and calling it good 😂
Just found your channel and wow! You are amazing! I have 4 kids (all teenagers now) and I was so tired all the time when they were young like yours ... i am amazed by your cooking and everything you do! And your kitchen looks so good! i love the stove and the sink and all the deco around. Simple, vintage, farmhouse and beautiful! 🌺🌷🌸
I enjoy your videos so much! They are creative, interesting, and beautiful! Suggestion…your dryer door can be easily switched to open from right to left which would make transferring your laundry from washer to dryer soooo much easier!!😊
Laundry is definitely one of those "keep it simple" things. Whatever works best is dependent upon your family size, laundry location, etc. For me, it's the family closet. The washer-dryer is in there too. No moving clothes around. Wash it, dry it, toss it in the correct bin or hang, done. People say ..."but the kids have to go into the family closet (which is an entire room) to get their PJs each night. Lol well they would have to go in daily to take their basket up to their room anyway if we were storing the clothes in the bedrooms. Ugh I could go on and on about storing clothes in kids' bedrooms. I swear i spent half my life moving textiles around, putting in systems, bureaus, closet shelves in bedrooms and on and on and on. Once i decided no more storing clothes in the bedrooms i was free. Lol. I keep all the other textiles in the family closet too. Sheet sets, towels, etc.
thank you for this!!! once we have a house I will definitely be doing this! wow! how freeing! I hate constantly switching sizes and organizing dressers and closets!
Such a great concept. I would've never thought to do a family closet because of the way our house is set up. When we design and build our next home it will be something I definitely will consider. Especially the part about having the washer and dryer in the same area as where all the textiles go. Such a pain to carry it all the way downstairs and back up again unnecessarily.
We don't have a dishwasher, either, and we are a near-zero processed food kitchen... So we really cook. Alot. So we do dishes. Alot. As long as it's constant, just just isn't a big thing....
We have a basket per child and I only wash a basket and then put back in their basket and it goes in the their cubby. So I don’t need to sort their laundry. We are a family of 12. We also have a sock basket
When there is enough laundry with a large family, one does it daily unless you want a room full of dirty laundry that people will be wading through to look for things. Love all Theo's little baby noises while you are talking to us. You have diversity throughout the day in your scheduling.
I bought some Kiwi Co boxes for Christmas presents this year and sent the link to a few friends with grandchildren. I’ll be interested to see and hear their reactions. Thanks for the idea.
“If I don’t keep you guys busy. What do you do? You make mess. Big mess. Bigger mess than dough” 🤣 and him in the camera. Loved this video. Those smoothie cups were soo cute!
I'm a mom of two, 4 and 2. I hope to learn to let go of certain things like this, or just lowering my standards so I can be gracious for any help my kids and husband can offer. I think sometimes as homemakers we want things a certain way, but if we're more lax on stuff we could get lots of help. Thanks for sharing, love your family ❤️
We had ten and I did laundry every day and the sheets were split up by days. Boys on tues mine on Wednesday and so on and I was never overwhelmed! We are down to four kids now and I still do wash every day!! Good thing I love laundry hanging it outside!!
When I had my first baby baby wearing made me very anxious and I never really got confident enough with it. I'm now expecting baby number two and I'm hoping to get over that fear because I really need both hands during the day!
Thank you for such a lovely video. It was relaxing for me after a stressful day. 🙂 I was raised on an apple orchard in Tasmania, Australia. We had a cow and hens, but mainly apples. We always had a clothesline; later a standup dryer, but my family wasn't keen on it. I think I am one of few people in my area in California who has a clothesline. I do have a dryer, and I will use it if the day is without any drying in the air. I tend to wash every day still, even though there are only the two of us now. I am otherwise known as: "Dame Wash a Lot." She is a character in The Far Away Tree books, by Enid Blyton."
Dryers are designed so you can flip the door depending on which side of the washer the dryer is on. You won't have to reach over the door if you flip it to the other side.
Thanks for this entertainment! Loved the kids! Actually laughed out loud when Micah said "Hello" to the camera! Liked seeing Luke too. I haven't been watching a super long time, but he doesn't seem to make too many appearances. You are a phenomenal mom.
Hey Lisa, not sure if you'll see this comment because there are over 200 at this point, but was wondering more about the blogging course that you are updating. I just bought the course about a month ago and was wondering how that will work with the updated version in regards to those who bought the original. And by the way, I haven't gone through the entire course yet (going through it slowly) but so happy with the rich content. As I have been slowly diving in I'm realizing there's more work to it than I originally thought, but in the same breath I feel encouraged that blogging is feasible and not just a dream out in left field. Any morsels on the updated blogging course would be a treat! :) Lastly, I just found your channgel 2 months ago and truly enjoy it!
Watch a video on how to change the direction the dryer door opens. Or move your washer to the L of the dryer. Your videos are relaxing and enjoyable, sis. *hugs*

Your children are so blessed to be brought up on a farm and be a part of learning so many things. What a great life it is ♥️
Mom of 12 here, 5 left at home and 6 grands so far... love seeing big families and the glimpse into another milk kefir fam was a treat!!
As always you bless my morning with your presentation of family togetherness. What a blessing you are. I was thinking this morning that if people in my country would pitch in and work together like your family of 9 does, how wonderful a world that could be!
The soft music while divvying up the smoothies…and then the sounds of real life…love it🥰

Daniel and Micah 'helping' with their rolling pins was delightful.
I love seeing how you’re keeping the younger kids busy at times and seeing more of Micah and Daniel and how you interact with them 💕 as a new mom I find it really helpful during those times to see an example
Your daughter that was helping to cook at the beginning of the video looks so much like you! All your kids are so adorable! Love your videos!
Awww....you are so blessed to have your arms and kitchen full of little ones. Thank you for sharing your day, recipes, and family with me.
❤ I love your channel, so holistic in every way. I adore your homemaking style 😊Thank you for uploading such wholesome content

I’m just in awe how much Luke does to help. What a great example to your children.
Well, she does “bring home the bacon” and “fry it up in a pan”!
Luke is not "helping". He's playing his part in this family team project.
He's not "helping." He's a parent and playing his part. This idea that men "help" us is just so wrong.
Why is help a bad word? He’s still doing it? And I think it’s so sweet.
My son helps his wife. She appreciates it.
Helping is good. I help my husband with things that he takes the lead on, he helps me with things I take the lead on. We have different strengths and skillsets. I do have a dryer, and I will use it if the day is without any drying in the air. I tend to wash every day still, even though there are only the two of us now. I am otherwise known as: "Dame Wash a Lot." She is a character in The Far Away Tree books, by Enid Blyton."
Lisa, praying for you and your precious family!
Dryers are designed so you can flip the door depending on which side of the washer the dryer is on. You won't have to reach over the door if you flip it to the other side.
Smiles and laughter as I enjoy watching Farmhouse on Boone.Thank you!!
If you put a light with a timer to come on early in th morning for chickens they will pick up their laying 😀
Or as the sun starts to set. They just need 14-16 total hours of light per day.
Loved this video Lisa, it was very relatable and always love seeing your beautiful family ❤️
That dryer door should be easy to flip around for easier access. Great channel 👍
The reason God gave you so many boys is bc you make such cute ones!!!!!
Thanks for this entertainment! Loved the kids! Actually laughed out loud when Micah said "Hello" to the camera! Liked seeing Luke too. I haven't been watching a super long time, but he doesn't seem to make too many appearances. You are a phenomenal mom.
That’s a busy household!!! You have a beautiful family!! A beautiful home too!!!
Every video is wonderful! Thank you so much.
A big job, but fortunately you have lots of pictures and you could go back and make the missing ones. ❤️
🥰Lisa I totally understand my two boys lived in my cozy Baby Wrap. Laundry is for sure one of my weak spot, so thank you for sharing the helpful tips!
Lastly, I just found your channgel 2 months ago and truly enjoy it!
You are such an inspiration Lisa
Watch a video on how to change the direction the dryer door opens.
Or move your washer to the L of the dryer.
Your videos are relaxing and enjoyable, sis. *hugs*
Great teamwork. Good job family. Thanks for videos.
