      @@Asim_Iqbal I would guess the 27gl850 as that's the one in lg's lineup that matches this best, maybe the cheaper 27gl83a which is almost identical, but with a cheaper backlight which doesn't offer the same color as the higher end version.

      I paid $399 from Best Buy. I love it, and feel like I got a great deal. The included cables alone would cost ~$40, and I’m not going to spend any additional money on speakers, so there’s another ~$50 saved. My only complaint is the inadequately adjustable stand, but it’s a meager problem. All things considered, I think of it as though my actual cost was about ~$309. Totally worth it!

I assume he tested it with an Nvidia card because he enabled G-Sync and is not experiencing any flickering during his gameplay. Edit: I'll be able to update if this monitor works on Nvidia soon since I managed to get the monitor for half the price.

    Wait a minute...
    300nits is nothing special, freesync is nothing special today, 144hz is nothing special, the design really is not much to brag about, the bezels is really not that small, the remote is not very useful and will only get lost, it's not even ultrawide, you can't control the height... Basically this is a meh-speaker with a meh-monitor attached to it. I'm pretty sure the price is the best thing about this monitor!
    Nah... I'd choose the BenQ EX3501R before this one for +50$ any day of the week and even that is nothing special!!
    How can this be an Editors Choice?!

    • @JoelsterG4k
      @JoelsterG4k 4 года назад +3

      I have reviewed this and the EX3501R and this is hands down better, this is not a 300nits monitor, this is a certified HDR400 so it has at least 400 nits with HDR, try using HDR on the 3501R and you'll see how dark the image looks, the controller is super handy, once you start using it you'll notice how easy and fast is to access everything, this is an IPS panel, colors look amazing, the only advantage the 3501 has over this one is the Ultrawide and curve display, that's it.
