No disrespect to Harry, but I think the best summary of this car was the smile and giggles from that little boy in the back when Harry opened the taps a little bit. Absolutely awesome reaction, and great to see a new petrolhead in the making. Then again, he is from very good stock.
This is how you know a car is special, when it speaks directly to the inner-child in all of us and puts a smile on our face. What an adorable grandson, you just know he is a car guy already. Thanks Harry. Just a thought, you can show more of the road and surroundings with your voice over.
Aston nailed it with that silver color. I’m a big silver fan and theirs is the best. Can only image how amazing the paint looks in person. If they manage to fit that V12 in the vantage with a manual it will be the business. DBS is very cool I just think for the money I’d have so many options it would be hard to land on it as the final choice. New car depreciation is crazy and the second hand market is flooded with so many amazing choices you could have 2-3 great cars of different flavors. Obviously I’m not the person targeted for this car. Still love your take and detailed honest coverage.
I was shocked how well the DBS puts down power! Vantage seems to struggle to get away, but DBS manages to rocket away without much feeling of intervention.

Amazing video and so great to see a young petrolhead in the making, in these trouble times we should remember the joy that a toddler can give us, life goes on and will go on! And the Aston.... I have been a petrolhead all due to... the Persuaders! Roger Moore's DBS - the Ferrari didn't get a look in.....! And also great to see someone who appreciates driving a car on the road at 8/10's.... Yes, we all know dynamically and for speed, the Ferrari Superfast is quicker and better, but driving is not just about Quicker & Better, so yes, the Superfast will be on everyone's list... but the Aston still has a class that doesn't exist anywhere else... I just wish they had a Bentley Interior! Good going strong Harry!

Great review and car, but I still long for an 8-speed Vanquish coupe. I think that was their perfect GT. Classy, beautiful at any aspect, sonorous and cohesive.
Can't get used to the fussy styling, cheaper looking interior and those turbo's muffling the V12.
Correct me if I'm wrong, I was under the impression that the next Vanquish will be mid engined....But the DSBS....what a car

I remember my first ride in an E-Type. I was 7. The owner HOONED it up the A3 ... absolute rush of sensation ... adrenaline wasn't a "thing" then. Impossible to forget (my father had a Cortina estate 😊). Seeing your grandsons face reminded me of the grin I couldn't wipe off mine. Lucky kid, great review.
