    I would include the simplification of the infamous autopunch in logic by using the marquee with the R key. So easy:)

    Just today I was looking at something else where the marquee tool was used, and wrote down to myself, STUDY THE MARQUEE TOOL, because it's so powerful and it's hard to grasp everything it can do. Then I saw your video in the sidebar, How To Use The Marquee Tool In Logic Pro, and it is excellent. Perfect. Thank you very much.
    Also should add, super clean and easy to follow.

    Second time I have bumped into your vids. Excellent! I have been using Logic professionally since version 4. I still find a great deal of helpful data in your videos. I never really got into Marquee tool until I saw how quickly you could edit with it, and I decided to learn this tool and use it. Your video helped!

    That "selection based processing" got me hooked to stay on Logic now (LOL). I needed something like that similar to Pro Tools' audiosuite instead me dreading to use automation. THANKS!

    Great tutorial on the marque tool. I have a question, why after recording logic x show the truck as split regions, but it plays normally. Thanks

    • @sangstersounds
      @sangstersounds  8 месяцев назад +1

      Thanks! Yes sometimes that will happen if the recording time doesn't overlap regions. You can select both regions and hit 'J' on your keyboard to join them into one region.

    Question on the last point: but if I zoom in on the zoom, how do I get back to the pre-both-zooms view?

    • @sangstersounds
      @sangstersounds  3 месяца назад

      Just control option click again. It will return you to all previous zoom levels you until you get to the original level.

    How can you see what the length of the selection is in time?

    • @sangstersounds
      @sangstersounds  5 месяцев назад

      You can just reference the bar lines against the light colored selection region. Also the LCD will display the position of the marquee tool as you are selecting. Hope that helps!
