Make more of these I watch every single one of them, just for your commentary you made me laugh, trying to do exactly the same thing with my Brumby . Well done.
I watch all of your videos and hope to do ej swap, limiter install, headlights and way more and your videos are a great source of inspiration and knowledge
Awesome video mate. I would like to point out that relay in the back wall on the brumby is the brake light checker relay. The fuel pump control module/relay is up under the dash back far behind the fuse box. 👍
Awesome video. Would love a brumby but hard to find where I’m at. Really contemplating turning my wrx hatchback into a Ute like mighty car mods did lol
I’m pretty sure all ejs have similar blocks. If you were the run that engine with the standard gearbox you would need an adapter plate for the bell housing
And is it?Is the Brumby's gearbox better than... The ej gearbox for Who is the best?? Is it a gearbox? ej Installed without modification to the chassis
@@AbuFleafel I'm still running the brumby 4 speed, clutch and flywheel. The flywheel had to be drilled to suit the ej flywheel. Ej gearbox would great but also more expensive to do
The truth is I'm currently working on the ej16 project and I've finished everything except the wairs on the motor and I'm trying to shorten all the unnecessary ways and wairs
I put one of those aluminum radiators into my Left hand drive Brumby in USA! The Chinese welds look like they were done by Pelican Pete, the welder whose welds all looked like Pelican Shit!
@@angryengineering the new one does not leak coolant and the top and bottom rails are attached to the tanks so it is a big improvement on the one that I pulled out. I will probably get my old one repaired, but there are not that many radiator repair shops left in Northern NY. Most car rust away before they ever need a radiator repair!

I appreciate the support mate, hopefully I will be doing a lot more to mine soon!

Thanks Mate, I need to check the comments more often. Took me a while to work out why I didn't have brake lights haha
This is a great video absolute Legend i owe you one

I’ve wanted to do that for agers. When I can afford to I want to make a “late” model brumby
Wheels look good. What size rims and tyres do you have. Is there a lift kit?
Thanks Mate! I have a 2 inch lift and currently running 195r14c nankang muddies on 14inch sunnys
Nice work I wanted to ask you if I put an EJ16 do I need to make a match between the gear and the engine

Hello, are you the Flywheel The one you installed is private Brumby Is the result worth it? Did the engine sit without trouble?

Is turbo charging the ea81 not worthwhile?
The ej is a lot more modern and reliable. The standard ej most likely makes more power stock then a turboed ea81
About 20 years ago, I had a 1981 Subaru 1800 wagon with 2inch lift and a Webber carby from a V8 bolted on top and it moved quite well 😀
@@krizyw that’s awesome mate
Hey mate can you do a video about adding air conditioning please
Maybe one day. It is currently testing my patience, so wont be getting any presents for a while 😅🤣
How can I make a shortened ej16 engine drive set?
Got no idea man 😅😂
@@angryengineering haw did you do with your ej?
@@yusfalassd3897 I’m not sure what you mean?
@angryengineering I mean how did you manage to connect all the wairs and start the engine. Did you have a plan or something?

ive done 440000ks on the ea81 without touching the motor.
They are great engines!

The one I got isn’t to bad. The welds look ok but don’t know how much penetration they have 😂

Pull out the radiator next time, way easier to get the motor out
Probably should of. I hate pulling things off if I don’t 100% need to

Hi!
How do I get the gearbox adapter?
Depending on what country your in there, are a lot of different companies doing them
I live in Chile and here it is impossible to get that adapter. I just need the template to make it and I can't find it anywhere
