Neat looking brumby mate! Keep her tidy! Thanks for confirming what I’ve thought all along about the 80 series lights. I’d like to replace my landing light setup with another set but they’re ridiculously hard to find!
Gday mate great video, I have a brumby and I’m going to do this conversion, when you put the leds in they where stuck on high beam once you swapped the wires to get them onto low beam do they still switch to high beam with the other lights when you flick on your high beam ? Hope that makes sense cheers !
Hi there mate I did the same conversation to my brumby but not quite clear how you did the rewire all 4 headlights are working as high beams. And can’t get all 4 to come on at the same time, any help would be greatly appreciated thanks Oscar
I didn’t rewire them. All I did was swap around the pins in the connectors. The out side light will have high and low beam. The inside lights will only be high beam. You might have some other issues
@@angryengineering ok thank you for clearing that up would it be possible you can attach a written diagram of how you re pinned it just so I can get a visual thank you Oscar
@@angryengineering is it possible to have the outer light work as a high beam and then when I switch to high beam have all 4 headlights work as high beams simultaneously?
@@oscarenriquez4836 to my knowledge you can’t. You could easy have the outside lights on high beam (instead of using low beam) but when you switch them they will dim to low beam and your inside lights will be high beam. I just have mine set up the same way as factory. Compared to the original, it’s a night and day difference anyway
@@angryengineering so if I am looking at the outer headlight connector face on. How is it pinned ? And how does it need to be re-pinned for the new led headlights?
They are quite reliable when oil and coolant levels are maintained correctly. They can handle a bit boat like of shocks are shot and you’ll probably find yourself wanting more power at times. They’re an awesome little ute though and you’ll find yourself doing all sorts of mods like these lights, seats etc. I want a 5 speed in mine but the four banger is hanging in there and probably will for a long time. Find one without rust and you won’t regret it!

Thanks mate, Leds work great
I've just bought an Ag-Quip, will do the LED light upgrade and I look forward to other tips.
The led lights are a great upgrade from the standard ones. Have a massive video in the works just need to find the time to edit it!
Awesome work there mate, looks fresh!
They work great too
hmm.. still unsure about those, I like my 80's 5 lamps right out of the factory catalog.
The look of the is defintly not for everyone

On eBay mate, it says it’s $159 each is that for a 4 pack or one headlight
I paid around that. Came with 4 head lights and the adapter harness
Is that exhaust dump factory mate?
No it is I build the rear section for it will be doing a Video on it soon
