I've done many laps too in AC and it's completely mad. Feels like an LMP cars. After a couple of Hotlaps I feel really mentally exhausted from processing the speed.

Tip for nords in AC: Watch out for the curbs cause the tyres have 1 point of modelation,in ACC and Iracing you have like 4 to 6 points

In theory, could the 919 evo record be broken because of the extra attainable time through lack of excessive g forces on the driver? Lack of bumps, new lines through repaved sections?
Or am I just overthinking the abilities of repaving and regrading? 😅😂
In Germany from UK had my first ring taxi ride and two laps in my own car first lap nerve-wracking second much more fun will be back again 😀

Nice, one of my top 3 favs on GT7, & they nailed this car! By the way I hate that corner to, if your talking about the corner with the crest, gives a nice little lift, then into the grass, but I still managed to beat the Hondo TypeR record by a few!

Yes it should since it's a lot lighter and has better aero and more torque (assumption since this has a big V12).

@@W0o0dy The rough bumps will damage the floor for sure. The mercedes isn't a ground effect car is it? It also doesn't make that much downforce compared to its competitors. Yet it demolishes track records.
Try the Ferrari SF70 in Assetto Corsa. If you are feeling sleepy before hand, you won't be by the end of the lap. 👀

get a tripple screen setup, single monitor is never gonna do justice for your sim rig
If that motion rigs movement is anywhere close to the real thing then I can't even imagine what it must feel like after a four hour stint in a real car round the Ring. You'd have to syphon what was left of me out of the seat. 😵

found the mod. apparently the "amr pro" version is a whole different beast. based on the race car chassis, no hybrid, longer and wider, double the downforce. also it should be noted MOST ac mods should be taken with a grain of salt. generally, people dont fully understand the tire model data and how to do it correctly (and in some cases kunos themselves apparently) thus shouldnt be assumed to behave like the car its modeled after.
ok scratch that i did NOT find the same mod hahaha. for one it didnt have TC. and it felt like it had no downforce below 4th gear. also shifts would unsettle the car horribly. it was wheelspinning in 3rd gear in a straight line. front tires never got any temp in them, even though i ran the softs. only managed a 5:51

This is not ever getting a sub 6 at the nurburing it's only a second faster than outdated gt3 cars and the modern gt3 racecars can't do sub 6 do you really think this could? Hahaha.

Its pretty much F1 tech. The problem is just because the car is fast, doesnt mean you can just keep going faster. There are limits.
@@captain_context9991 It does not come close to F1 despite having similar tech though. It's way heavier and has an inferior engine and hybrid system as well as way less downforce than an F1 car. It's just GT3 levels and even then, it's still slower.

"Slower" right. Ofcourse its not an actual F1 car. Its road legal. It has to be able to handle daily use without being rebuilt twice a week. I have actually had access to two of these. The track-only one and the one with number plates. These things dont appeal to me because they are open-wheel racers and not cars. But there is no denying the engineering here.

hey misha if you adjust the field of view of the sim to a broader camera angle. it gives a better sense for speed. Footage looks a bit slow because the field of view is very narrow.
