Hey Misha, I've got the same car here in Cyprus (turbo version), and it's one of the fastest street cars, even with its stock suspension. I also have the same Protrack one wheels. I've noticed at 4:47 that you're missing the rear centre caps because the ones they send you don't fit 😢. You could kindly ask them to send you the high centre caps that beautifully fit the wheel centre and hide that protruding rusty iron in the middle 😉 🤓 Also, please mention the tyre sizes you are using. Thanks, keep it up, you 2!
Amazing news, fair play putting your money where your mouth is- you had confidence in his abilities, and went all in to make something happen! Look forward to seeing this develop

We've seen some really cool and impressive cars on your channel over the years, from some funny builds from the Boosted Boris days to Manthey GT3RS's, but man this... This is next level. I can't imagine just how much time and effort went into designing this aero kit. I cannot explain just how amazed I am. Best of luck in this new adventure!
That porche at the early stages of the lap, you know the one that wouldnt move out the way? He was probably thinking ah look at this cute little Opel, no way he gets past me... next thing you know it dissappears from the rearview never to be seen again! What a absolute track weapon!

One remarkable thing is that, very few engineers can experience their creations, F1, WEC, GTs... and this is what makes this video even more incredible! Seeing the reaction from Lapo, the moment he realized the beast that he built. Good luck to both in this path and I hope to see the next versions in 2024.

The VX220 (Speedster) has always been one of my favourite cars EVER. I truly think this is the best "build" that has appeared on this channel and one of the best builds on YT right now. I'm super excited to see what you both come up with in the next year, I'm fucking hyped!!!! 220 km/h through schwedenkreutz is quite fitting 😉
What an absolute DREAM you have as a project/business! I hope one day i'll be able to do something like that. Building my own cars, having complete (creative) freedom. I'm so stoked for the 2nd channel!
Good luck for this new adventure in the business. As a fellow Italian vehicle engineering student I am pleased to hear that the passion and knowledge of young people is really well appreciated. Since the first video you both made I got a lot of inspiration to do better and get the same recognition of all the hard work we put in during the university time. I hope others did too. Good luck again guys 😊
Thats not just engineering. Its pure science! Hope you guys an amazing new start for your company! Much respect for both of you. You guys are beasts, ive enjoyed every single minute of the video!!!
What an incredible performance and story! My honest appreciation for Lapo´s job! Looking forward to hearing from his future story. Amazing to see how this car was driving circles around the GT3 RS
That was fast, the car looks much more refined now and actually insane to drive, can't wait to see it properly finished and tweaked for the nurburgring. Congrats to both of you, keep up the good work.
Amazing drive. Also, the kg of downforce from the aero package is corroborated by what the G-Meter reads to within a few kg, from what I can assume about the car's overall weight. So the calculations the kid made are really good. If you need any additional mechanical or mechatronic design my humble services are at your disposal.
Oh wow, I just can't imagine how good this car will be once everything is "as it is intended to be"! The paint job once all is done must be something spectacular!
Mindblowing news indeed. Now I can see why that car was having cameos in the background on some of your vids. I am very proud of both of you and I hope this takes off smoothly... I mean the partnership not the opel taking off the ground. 😂😂

The student's car is really coming along, love the DRS and front diffusers on the splitter. The car looks so close to the ground in the on-board! great work. Great video! congrats on 1.1M! going quick now once you crack 1M! I've been watching a lot of hill climb monsters videos, great channel. Its pretty much all European hill climb's. very cool cars with lots of aero and power. It would be cool if you built and entered one or drove one and provide some "behind the scenes" could be great content!
Incredible timing, the engine started getting hot RIGHT before the tire failed, with just enough time to slow down. Very lucky the tire didn't fail while flat out, someone was looking over you Misha! Also very cool to see this car back. Extremely impressive and would absolutely love to see a full lap in its current configuration!

Such a level head to call the lap off when he feels the tyres aren't right. Better than pushing it and ending in tears. So cool. Wish you both all the success in the future, you've worked hard for it.
You know, what is so impressive here (to me) is that I believe I can see moments where Misha has hit the limits of engine's capabilities . Which is absolute success. That means the aero package is getting everything out of the car that the car has to give.
This car is beautifully glued to the ground and moved through the track with great precision. If you really watch the track in the front of the car closely there is so little travel. Just sticking to the track wonderfully

i've actually been looking for someone to do an underpanel for my 240z. I would love to visit the shop some day and talk. it sucks that everything for these cars are done overseas
I mean not really...he stated he had multiple offers. If GM and Ferrari both offered and internship it really wasn't a choice who to choose...especially since it sounded like he was from Italy from the first video. An internship at Ferrari will help you land a more lucrative job than an internship at GM all day and it's not even close.
@@curtharakaly4620 That all depends on how much his talent means to the brand making him the offer. Plus, if GM matched the offer from Ferrari, I can see someone making a choice based on the badge alone.👍

I would love to visit the shop some day and talk. it sucks that everything for these cars are done overseas
We certainly can do it!
Even in the video you can clearly see the confidence specially in the corners. Amazing!
This car's insane, wing or no wing
...Kinda wanna see it do a bit of time attack somewhere
- Tyre.
- Tyre blew?
- Blew.
- Ok.
Most engineer conversation ever. 😂
Student does something incredible with a GM car.
Student takes an internship with Ferrari. GM dropped the ball, BIG TIME.
Congratulations both of you!!!! What a wonderful news!!! Have a happy Christmas from Greece!!!
With Sequential Gearbox that would rock some laptimes
I had a smile on my face the whole time and I was just watching! Epic guys, congratulations on the new venture. Seeing people do what they are passionate about is the best, exited for the future content. Thank you :)
Might want to consider some custom parts for my AMG GTR ;)
Get in touch🔥
Thanks for this innovation. Keep going guys!!
Student: I have a car.
Misha: *Casual 1.4 G+ through every corner.*
Amazing.
Wow, amazing!! Good luck with your new venture, I think there's definitively a big market for high-performance aero components.
I own a Speedster and I can tell you that the Speedster/VX220 community would love to buy your parts
Wow! Incredible grip and just when you were really starting to lean into it. Looking forward to part 2 . Good luck with the new venture.... you obviously have put together a great team.
Been waiting for this for a long long time. As a fellow engineering student im doing a similar thing with my E46 and will hopefully get over to you in the summer ❤
So happy to hear this news! Last video with this Speedster was my first on your channel, and i loved it so much!

It must be a thrilling experience as a student to build such a car driven by the best driver. Amazing video. Great effort!!!
this thing NEEDS another 150hp and a proper dog box \m/ also, congrats on your new business endeavor!
WOW amazing news! Previous video with Lapo is one of my absolute favourite but, now this took it to a whole new level! Wish you both all the success!
