i really liked her not following the ideal lines, as she knew her car much better than that. at these lover speeds and light car she did't have to follow half of the ideal lines. very refreshing to see. also, she took one of the banked turn at around 90 that is one of the fastest I have seen any car go.

The most impressive fact is, that she still drives with her old car and did not replace it with a higher powered one.
I watched Misha go from his slightly sleepy looking "This will be a nice confident ride with a skilled rider" to eye's wide open "Mein Gott!" in like three corners. We see so many video's where the title is "he build a track weapon". Its a rare treat to see a driver that deserves the video title, "I rode WITH a track weapon"

I don't think I've ever felt this much joy watching a lap of the Nordschleife! What a driving performance, and the pleasure of both driver and passenger was so obvious that I was smiling the entire video. It honestly felt good, and it certainly improved my day. Hope this girl gets what she deserves, so she can keep enjoying herself a thousand laps more!

Serious skill there, I hope she gets the car sorted. I feel she's a worthy successor to Sabine Schmitz. Having attempted the Ring in racing simulators, I am in awe of anyone who can learn it that well.

There is a lovely overtone to the engine when the speed gets close to 200, like a jet taking off. I am really envious of you in Germany. You have the best motorways and you have this amazing circuit open to the public. Wonderful episode!

she really did great , knows her car , knows the track , and made great use of them . gotta love those lower HP cars that really let you drive 10/10 , be fun , and not the fastest in a straight , but super fun in the corners . Meg's lap was cool to see how comfortable , and in a way non verbally rooting for Vika . was like automotive girl power . LOL.
The way she knows her car, and how it works with the track, alongside the set up prior to corner entry is a beautiful thing to watch.

There are some who can learn to drive extremely well. Then you put them in a car with somebody born to race. The eyes widen, heart pumping and you get to experience the fringe.. Beautiful lines were taken with such pace...

Very high corner speeds. I'm sure there are many other autists here that like to compare corner speeds, straight line speeds, etc. ~115 min corner speed end of Hatzenbach, ~110 through Hocheichen.. that's almost race car speed. Especially considering that according to her, due to tire size the speedo is essentiall real (GPS) speed.
Also glad that Megi had such an enjoyable lap back!

It's the first time I've seen anyone driving a FWD car in the ring as it should be driven: throttle steering. That's how she can keep those high corner speeds. 😉

As for that horsepower comment, yes.. and then, she could also add front & rear aero, for a benefit in the high speed corners. Right now, adding aero would probably be counterproductive, as it would create drag which the current engine can't overcome.

Brilliant video Misha. Perfectly captures the skills and personality of Vika so well. She is an exceptional driver, very funny and I have witnessed as a passenger much higher speeds in my I30N and in her BMW E36 drift car demonstrating her ability to control a rear wheel drive so well too. I am sure I join the thousands of viewers who look forward to seeing the opportunities that lie ahead for Vika behind the wheel and in front of a camera perhaps filling the void left by the wonderful Sabine.

Ladies who lap 🥰 Interesting that Vika is wearing the Simpson Hybrid - I presume that is 'ring-legal since it still allows full head movement compared to traditional HANS? Good to know since that (afaik) is the only one which fits the female profile. I hope to meet her on track some day, albeit briefly as she comes flying past 😆You definitely have to get her a hook-up with Bilstein.

"Ring-legal" depends on the day - this is a public access day, no safety equipment required, just a car that's safe and legal to be driving on public roads. Track day requirements are much stricter.
@@HaralHeisto The point being a conventional rigid HANS device is *not* allowed during Touristenfahrten since it is run according to German road rules which prohibit such devices - same for the wraparound race seats.
I used to do autocross, i had a 140hp 1991 acura integra. It had double independent wishbone suspension on all 4 corners and a tein suspension with r888 tires. It wasnt fast but it absolutely owned in competition in my class. Ive had fast cars and slow car and the most fun ive ever had is in my slow cars with good suspension and sticky tires.
The enjoy with "city" car at the track is noticable even through the camera here, thank you Misha for highlighting to us this driver!

Die anderen waren nur schnell auf den geraden Abschnitten, aber in den kleinen Kurven, wo es drauf ankommt, hat sie wieder alle eingeholt und kaputt gemacht. Reschpeckt!

Nice, it’s definitely impressive to all passengers when you drive NBR fast with a low powered vehicle you know well with a track setup. Very cool to see reactions in this video. I did 700 laps on the R4R Suzuki Swift in 2014-2015, Schwedenkreuz GPS was 205 kph flatout, running BTGs as fast as that car could with any other driver, and every random passenger I took was really out of words. Folks enjoy, it’s not a terror lap to most, you take it smooth, overtake ton of vehicles, and most importantly drive constantly on the limit having a ton of fun with lesser risk and lower consumables cost.
