I've been recovering from a serious illness, I'm 5'7 and currently weigh 91 pounds. I'm on the "gain weight" train now...my partner gave me a trip to Japan (I leave first week of November with him) just to be the great person he is since it's been a bad year. I've been researching and it's quickly turning into "how much of Japan can I eat" . This looked so amazing, if I can find this place I'm trying everything!! Every Japanese food video I watch just makes me want to make this a straight up eating/restaurant bucket-list situation.
It takes practice, but I learned how to do it. In a restaurant I worked in, we had to use 66 eggs to make large batches of french toast batter. So yeah, you have to learn how to do it, and do it fast.
it only has 3.8 stars on reviews. just to show your how high standard the food is. Consider the price, this would be better than most places in other countries.
@@claus1225 agree.. in most countries, the attention to detail, cleanliness and prep would instantly give this place 5 stars.... if only US restaurant chefs and prep folks cared about cleanliness so much!
It all looks delicious but I'm not sure about the crispy pork loin being put into liquid and then topped with an omlette. Surely the crispiness will end up soggy.
In these applications, the aim isn't to retain crispiness. The fried food adds richness and flavor to the broth/cooking liquid. In addition, the fried coating becomes an additional ingredient to further absorb the flavors of the broth/cooking liquid. This is reminiscent of the practice of using bread or bread dumplings to soak up soup and sauces.
Is the chef saying what is is when he places the dish on the counter? I know it's an ignorant question, but its a legitimate one because i don't understand the language, and I've never worked in the food industry.i wish they'd translate it with the captions. This channel alwys makes me drool 🤤 because the food always looks so good, like comfort food.

Just make sure everything you put in your mouth has been cooked
The prep work that goes into a successful restaurant is amazing

That pork tenderloin looked amazing. It's my favorite. Thank you. Very interesting video.

Food looks very good, and it looks like hard work too, I worked in restaurants when I was a young man

What a fantastic place and superb food.
I like the look of that large slice of bacon !
I’d have trouble getting through the pork chop. They are what I call…super lunches. 👏👏👏👏😁👍🏻🇦🇺
the Japanese are perfection in everything they do
WOW , those Fried Oysters!!
i want to go back to japan just to eat everyting on this vid :)
What an amazing spread! I wish my lunch hour was like this, lol.
Not only does the food look delicious but the restaurant as well...💯👍👍👍💯😎
Wonder how many eggs they use in a day!
Wow looks brilliant 😢😂
That wonderful Portk Meal is just about $9 USD. Not a bad price at all for a restaurant.
And this is why I want to go to Japan
My kind of food and the Japanese, of course, do it best.
Love the video ❤
Excellent team work would love to know what is the base he's using to fry with.
I love pork
Pork is the food of the gods :D

🤤🤤🤤 that looks so good
0:45 Looks delicious. The only thing I did'nt understand was why make something crispy just to make it wet.

Wow 😋👍
they should use a peeler, and just skim the fat right off. use it to deep fry or something.
Ive never seen anyone wash chopped up onions before. Does anyone know the purpose of that?
🇧🇷😋😍

Mmmmmmm😮
300 grams is just over 1/2 a pound. That's not huge.
8:55 How much mayo do you need. All of it please.

Where are English subtitles?
In the video's settings menu, you can enable the CC (Closed Captioning) for subtitles, select the Auto-Translate option, and then choose English.
I wonder if they let foreigners back in to their country yet??

You really need to trim the fat just a bit.
