I love this beanie--I would love to have the pattern written out-it is easier for me to follow written patterns when I crochet.
I love this hat but I like half dc instead of dc for the main body. I find it's warmer since it is more dense of a stitch. Thanks for the chart on sizes. That is so helpful.

This is exactly the kind of beanie tutorial I was looking for: top-down and ribbed brim! My yarn is bulky 5 but I think it'll be ok, I'll just make rows for a size smaller hat and use a different size hook. Wouldn't it work? I have never made a hat before.

Single crochet is only if you choose to not do the ribbed edging.

How do I get back to your note for the sizes?
Just put your curser on the video or your finger and there will be a bath on the bottom that you can slide backward.
