I love anything made up with the suzette stitch. I think it gives a very subdued elegant look.
Excited to do this one.
So do I 💞
I made this with a stitch brim! The Slip Stitch was driving me crazy but the hat came out lovely. Thank you for clear instructions
Getting caught up on some of your videos. Thank you for this great presentation. Yes, there is something special about this stitch. I made a baby Afghan last year and the texture was perfect. Love your color choice, too! 🧶 Remain teachable, my new friend! 😊
My Mum loves this beanie.
Lovely and simple pattern.Thank you.
I made this hat tonight. It is beautiful. Tomorrow night I’ll start the scarf.
I made this hat from your pattern and it is adorable! I used camouflage colored yarn with black. I love it! Thank you 😊
You’re welcome! I’m glad you enjoyed the pattern!
I have always struggled with hats.
I may have to try this one.
Love the tutorial. So easy to follow
You got this
Love your tutorials. I've not made a hat yet & you make the project seem doable & easy. I look forward to learning more & following along with more of your tutorials. Thank you! 💜🧶
I loved the slip stitch it took me a minute but the results was worth it
Thanks for the tutorial I like the way you you explain...it's clear and simple to understand
Great tutorial and I never knew that I could make my pom pom detachable. 😘
thank you for the detailed instructoin this was easy to fallow. I love this stitch, I'm on my third hat!
bedankt voor dit makkelijke patroon ik heb de muts gemaakt met dezelfde kleuren en ga er nog een bijpassende sjaal bij maken
I like working from bottom to top I find it easier for me. Thanks
I love the brim am struggling with ss into the back rows because it doesn't really make much for back rows but I don't want to use the SC, I like this so much better. Wish me luck
Good luck! I’m sure it will go well :)
Love love the hat! And you give very precise directions, thank you so much ☺️
Have a great day.
Stay safe, stay healthy.
You’re very welcome :)
Love the Suzette stitch! Lovely beanie😍
Thank you for the lovely pattern and a good clear tutorial. I really enjoy your hat patterns!! 🧶💕🧶
Very easy to follow! This is a great and beautiful project. Thank you!!
Just finished this and it’s huge!!
Not all worsted weight yarns are created equal and our tension possibly not the same. We’re you able to test your gauge? If you need to adjust the number of stitches around the brim, the stitch multiples are provided :)
@@RichTexturesCrochet I ripped it out and didn’t make as many rows and it’s perfect
Wonderful!
Will be making this when I am done with my cowl.
Just jumped on board . . .thanks.
So cute. Got to try this one! ❤
Hi, your work is stunning 😍
Beautiful beanie! Thank you for the tutorial, Sarah.
You’re very welcome!
Very clear tutorial. Thank you so much for this crochet hat tutorial video. Can’t wait to make one, or two, or three. Lol. 😊
The slip stitch brim is good, another one is the front post back post stitch.
Pretty
I love the suzette switched i just leaned it watching your other video! So pretty making my daughter a quilt with that same stitch! Thank you God bless n Merry Christmas
Thank you. I’m anxious to make this hat. 😍
Love it . I must try that one .
Love this and so easy to make.
Thank you cannot wait to make them with matching fingerless gloves and a scarf for a hat without any interruptions how long do u think a hat takes I know the key factor is the stich
It took me about 3-4 hours :) the brim, especially if worked in the slip stitches is what takes the longest
Your hdc2tog looks like a (hdc/sc) tog. I do mine like this: (yo, insert hook in next st, yo, draw up loop) 2 times, yo and draw through all 5 loops. You're doing: yo, insert hook in next st, yo, draw up a loop, insert hook in next st, draw up loop, yo and draw through all 4 loops. Is there a reason why you do yours like that? Is it to make less bulk? I've never seen it done like that.
I just watched how she does the 2 hdc together, and you're right, she's doing a hdc and sc together.
@@sabrinaharris6538 from what I understand (and read elsewhere), the way Sarah does it is the preferred method of hdc2tog to make it a bit smoother and less "bulky" looking.
Can you make fingerless gloves with the ribbed bottom and using the suzette stich with a thumb hole please your tutorials are great simple easy stiches
Here goes my first hat winterberry with scarf and fingerless gloves wish me luck
I never realized that a homemade Pom Pom should be detachable! Hope my gifted hats with Pom poms don’t fall apart!
I've never had any detach.
Can be washed in a mesh wash bag and air dry then u just shake it it should fluff up the pom pom I never had a problem with mine just make sure u sew it really secure just a tip for u
Magnifique merci 🌹
Looks beautiful! Easy enough & great tutorial! Gorgeous texture! Thank you! 💕💕💕
Love this !
Recently bought the pattern I was wondering how do I make smaller sizes please. I want to make different size hats to donate.
How meny sitch for a. Teen and child hat please ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ love
Thank you 👍🏻❤️
I love this cute little beanie...what a great hat! I love your tip for adding a pom pom...another treat tip!
QUESTION...I LOVE your needle holder...do you have a link for where you got it? Thanks!
Que peça belíssima
Love it!
On the color change, do you ever cut the color or do you keep crocheting over the old color?
Sara i am wanting to make several of your hats that i have kept but i am not sure how to begin its for my newest addition to the family plus ages 5-16 i have a brim chart measurement for each size do i just go from that ? Then start hat im going to make the winterberry one first his head is only 13" around so i was going to follow brim chart and then work on hat part is there any suggestion for me or am i going on the right track so far 😢
Nice
You always have the best hats😍. Thank you for free patterns 🙏🏽
Lovely hat. How wide and long would you make the co-ordination scarf? An infinity scarf would be nice in this pattern too.
The scarf pattern will be available on Friday :)
Is the 72 stitch count because you have 72 rows? I want to make a smaller beanie and I was wondering about the stitch count. Thank you...loving this stitch 😁
Not necessarily - I worked 72 because that’s what was comfortable for the size I wanted. To adjust the size I would work an even number to the desired circumference
I have a hard time choosing colors that go well together. Does anyone have a tip on how to choose colors that work well together
kindly tell me the measure of 2 and 5 years old boys hat
Me too please
Me too please
Have to crochet pretty loose when doing the slip stitch huh?
This is lovely. I am English so don't understand the worsted weight. What is the equivalent please?
Our UK version is Aran
@@lynnwinter94 thank you
Fabulous tutorial.. ❤❤
Супер!💐💐💐
On your brim do you slip stitch in the back bump or just one of the v’s at the top? Did that make sense? Lol
I usually sl st into the back numb as it gives a nice edge to work in. It is personal preference though and you can work in the v if you would prefer :)
I am using the back bump too. Just seeing what you did 🥴
Pattern link: richtexturescrochet.com/winterberry-hat-crochet-pattern/ (it's incorrect in the description)
Thank you for pointing that out! Yes it should be “hat” not beanie as you have above :) I’ve edited it!
💐
Why do you turn on certain rows but not all? Why is turn your work not included in written instructions? Thank you
It is only after the first round of the body and when working the decrease at the top of the hat that you do not need to turn - as is written in the pattern notes (and you’ll see at the end of all the other rows in the written pattern) you will turn at the end of each round that requires turning. The Suzette stitch requires turning in order to get the stitches to fall in the proper direction
How do I find your other work? I can't find any other videos
The crochet patterns for the crochet alongs are being released one at a time on Wednesdays and Friday’s over the next three weeks. As for other designs by myself, this is the link to the main page of my channel: www.RUclips.com/c/richtexturescrochet/
