- Modern trucks are exceptional, more so the cabin area with all the modern technological features and amenities at the push of a button. Scania also makes robust engines. - Nice and thorough presentation and video. - Awesome tattoos. -Thanks for an enjoyable 23 minutes my Swedish friend, keep it up and stay safe! :)
Thank you! :D It's hard to explain how it's done in text form. It's like learning how to ride a bike. Lots and lots of practice, and suddenly you go "Aha!", when you figure out how the trailer goes depending on how you steer. And then you practice some more 😃
I grew up not around big trucks with sleeper cabs but with flat bed trucks that haul lumber sense my dad works in a lumber yard. I do find it so interesting the differences between semis and other trucks in Canada and USA compared to the UK.
Truely, a great introduction for new guy to understand a Truck functions , its Switches, features, view angle for drivers. all good . keep filming , good luck.
Thanks for such an informative video. Like the sense of humour. Can we have More. I agree with you about drivers travelling with truck drivers or get them to drive a simulator. This is the first video I saw of yours and I was hooked.
Microwave, fridge AND a coffee maker?!? The old thing my father drove In the UK back in the 80s barely had power steering and the tachograph (For speed and stops and the like.) was using paper discs. Lorries have come a long way since then. Thank you for the tour.
Great video .. didn't knew you were so tall 😎 Thanks for this glimpse onto your truck as I'm one of those non-truck-drivers subscribers, I just enjoy to go along on your drives and listen to your conversation 🥰 .. be safe and wish you the best.
Not sure how YT guided me to your channel , but I'm very glad to find it !! I used to drive trucks in Germany in the 70's and 80's - yes , I'm that old !!😂 I find it amazing how things have changed , back in my day trucks were soooo basic , and very different. Really interesting to see all the great equipment you have in your modern truck. Also , you are a great presenter , and put so much effort into your videos , camera angles etc. Great stuff Cassie , you have a new fan and subscriber !!! Keep on trucking , and posting !!😀👍
I got my truck licence on a Scania R410 (4x2) this year. since that, I have driven other trucks (Renault 8x4, Mercedes Actros 8x4 , Iveco stralis, all flatbeds). Just this week, I started working on a Scania again, same axle configuration then yours (rear wheel steer) but with a flatbed and mid mounted Palfinger crane. There is just no comparison: the Scania is a great truck! I prefer almost everything compared to other brands! The interior, gearbox, engine smoothness, quality, tons of sensors to keep an eye on your truck...
Hi Cassie, I am a fellow driver in USA and I have to say that you have a beautiful truck ! Our trucks are not fun to drive in America 😩😃Thanks for the tour.
Yes Cassie, for me a begginer it was very educative to see and understand many of the functions a truck has inside of the cabin and not only, because I watched also other videos of yours. Thank you and bless you
I learned about the blindspots the hard way. During my first year of driving, i changed lanes in front of a truck in a jam. There was some space for me to tuck in, i semi-completed the lane change and stopped, in about 30 seconds he just moved)). He then welcomed me to sit in his driver's seat. I couldn't see my car from there at all.
Oh boy I do miss my trucking days and nights out. I just loved been on the road and discovering so many different sights and beautiful countryside. But due to an accident at work resulting in major spinal surgery my license was revoked and my trucking days were over. It’s always been the story of my life I find something I love and I lose it including the wife! But hey ho life is always set to try us in more ways than one. There wasn’t many female drivers on the road when I was trucking but it’s great to see so many more out there doing such a great job. Have a great Xmas lass and let’s hope 2023 is a better and much more peaceful year.
Made me laugh when you said about turning the lane guidance warning off because that’s the first thing I do - interestingly driving without footwear on in the UK is frowned upon - great video!!
I'm driving this truck in euro truck simulator, but sadly lots of features stay unexplained and not simulated. here i get to know them! that's so awesome! lots of nice information. i love this heavy machinery and love to know more about this, thank you. i somehow agree to your idea to educate car drivers of the special needs of truck drivers: a active drive or passive is a bit too much probably to realise, also because truck drivers are not the only one with special needs in traffic and not everything can be covered in detail, but the main things could be covered in car drivers education, i guess that would make sense.
good vid, my father was a trucker in a 12 speed manual Peterbilt. good to see the young generation to pick up this trade, this trade is suffering to get new drivers here in the US.
As a non-truckdriver I enjoyed the video and I really would love to drive a truck at least for one time. I like your videos, so keep up the good work! Greetings from The Netherlands.
Thanks for the video :) My best friend has been driving trucks for decades. When Ive travelled with him in his trucks I have a greater appreciation for his skill and patience he has as a truck driver. Love going for rides with him and eating at trucks stops lol. People should go for at least 1 ride in a truck to show the difficulties and stress of driving a truck. I wills tick to my European Truck simulator 2 truck driving LOL Arohanui Cassie from New Zealand 😍😍😁😁😍😍
Thank you for your tour. I am an American Truck Driver of over 20 years experience. I was surprised on how different European trucks are compared to American. One of the biggest shockers was how small your cab is and how little room there is. Even in America Over The Road trucks are going all Automatic Transmissions. I'm a driver from the old school and thankfully work for a local company with 18 speed manual transmissions. I love my 18 and never wanna drive anything else. Again, thank you for your tour. Was wonderful too see life on the other side of the pond.
roads and cities are very narrow in europe. i assume thats why the euro trucks have a flat nose and short cab for better manuverability. Tighter turns and less dead pedestrians. (We have those over here) She is practically sitting on the engine... if she is driving just domestically, she is probably sleeping at home most of the nights. Big cab makes no sense ... right?
@@zoolkhan We have Cab-overs here too. However they are more rare now. She is not "practically" sitting on the engine, she IS sitting atop the engine. In-Fact, the entire cab is " On Top" of the engine. You are correct about the Size requirements for running on the road and understand the reasons. I was just surprised to see it myself compared to what I am used to being an American Driver. I meant no disrespect. The inside of the cab was very small compared to what I am used to seeing so that was a surprise to me. If she is local then no she really doesn't need a large interior. I myself am local now and no longer over the road. WE have what are call Day-cabs. (No sleeper). The back of the drivers seat sits against the back of the cab wall so very small. But I start my day and end my day at my local terminal so no need for anything else.
@@zoolkhan In Europe the length of the entire truck is bound by a certain maximum. 18 meters for a regular articulated truck. In the US, if I recall correctly, the length of the trailer is regulated, so the length of the drive unit isn't ad important. In Europe, a tractor with a long nose and big interior space simply means less room for cargo.

There are several truck simulators on SteamVR like American Truck Simulator or the Europea version. I am using a seat that moves and vibrates so the realism is high. Those "games" have given me great respect for the skills of truck drivers and has modified my way of driving when encountering big vihecles. Very interesting to get this real life introduction, Thanks!

Good subject matter Cassie. Nice to see you once again. You look great and I hope that means that your feeling great too. Be safe especially with the coming Christmas traffic.
Today i learned truckers sleep in their trucks. (Jokes aside, wonderful introduction to truck cab for those who have not seen one before) And also always some tiny details to discover which I haven't seen before. Such as missing arm rests on passenger seats? what the heck woow XD Oh and also.. that blindspot camera that locks in at low speeds, oh my that's even more annoying than in Volvo when the seatbelt chime rings, you are unable to do anything to the radio. Cannot adjust the volume or anything. I think that is really frustrating and something maybe even suggest to Scania that they would get rid of. It's a safety feature after all, but all it's doing is making truckers frustrated and multitask on the phone instead 😂😅 Really loved the video!! Stay awesome Cassie! 🤩🎉 And HaaAaAAaPppPPyYY WeEEeeKeEENnNnnnDdDD :HYPERS:
Yey what a joyful comment! Happy weekend to you too! 🥳 Haha yeah lots of the new technology that is built for safety reasons bits itself in the foot in lots of moments. Making the driver frustrated and learns how to work around the systems somehow 😆 Take care and thank you for watching! Wiie
Greetings from Scotland! Hi Cassie! That was great! I especially liked your idea that people should take the chance to "ride along" in a truck. I know there are all sorts of insurance issues but that could be resolved. Just spending a normal day (are there such things? 😊) with a trucker as they drive would give people a much better understanding of the "WHY'S!" of driving a large truck. Such a simple thing may just stop a lot of frustration and even save lives! The blind spot on foreign trucks that may have the driver position on the "wrong" side needs better publicised in the UK urgently in my view. SO many accidents in slow moving lanes of traffic, usually because a car driver or pedestrian isn't aware that (to the trucker) they are completely invisible in some areas, especially the cab blind spots on the corner and directly in front. Have a great weekend Cassie (are you going to see your other "horsepower" friends? 😊😊 Now that's an elegant way to travel!
Hello Cassie 👋 🫂. How have you been? Thanks for the great tour of your Scania cab. That is a mighty fancy truck it has more features than my new SUV. You always look so adorable 😍 💕. Stay safe and have a wonderful holiday season 😊 😘
I drive tractor trailers in the USA . Compared to European trucks, our trucks are crude. I would give anything to spend time driving the trucks you drive. I agree that car drivers should have to be taught how to share the road with commercial trucks. In my years of driving most of the close calls on the road that could have resulted in serious or deadly accidents were caused by car drivers doing stupid things. My head is literally on a swivel when I drive my trucks. It is a very great responsibility when you climb into a truck seat. Love your podcast and subscribed, you are terrific.
Thank you for this great video, Cassie! It is very educational and interesting. I think it's a good idea that people who get a driver's license for a car ride in a truck. That would promote mutual consideration and understanding!!! I wish you all a safe journey. Greetings from Germany
Very nice video. Have you ever driven a timber truck? One evening/night many years ago I went with a friend in one. The truck was rolling with 2-3 drivers in shift. I didn't know it was possible to drive over ditches with 24 m before that. He turned to the right over a ditch and then turned left over the ditch again to get in to a very small road into the forrest where we pict up a big load of timber on both the truck and the trailer and then went out on an other side of the forrest. I thought the little road was small for a car and he went in with the truck there.
Hi 👋 🌸🌸 Just wanted to say … It’s very inspiring seeing a lady like you driving a truck for living. If i seen you outside away from trucks, in a million years I couldn’t guess you’re a truck driver. 😁👍🌸 Saying that , need to add, you’re absolutely gorgeous yourself and what a amazing and impressive truck with latest technology truck you got there.👍👏👏 I never seen a truck with so much high tech before. I guess a gorgeous truck for a gorgeous and lovely driver would fit perfect. 😉😁👍🌸. I’m watching you clips from England. Here things aren’t that good for truck drivers . The work conditions is very bad and wages going down too , including all that jobs are drying out and drivers can’t find a decent job with decent wages anymore! Just in case if you ever fancy a good looking co-driver from England let me know 😜👍🌸 Really enjoyed watching your clips. Keep it up 👍👏🌸🌸

Hi Cassie good to see you again, very nice video and informative for your viewers that don't drive trucks. I love the new intro and outtro to your videos. Is amazing how much technology is shared between cars and trucks now this days.
Thanks again for give us an insight into your office, stay warm and safe out there.
Thanks!
Oh thank you so much!! 🥰 I really appreciate it! 🙏🌸
Scanias make a good engine it's the gearbox that's a bit shady 👍👍
Wow 62 tons! Here in the states 40 tons is the max for us truckers. Happy trucking! 👍
Brilliant! Absolutely captivating! What I'd like to know now is how do you even reverse those giga trailers with the dolly axle?!
Thank you! :D
It's hard to explain how it's done in text form. It's like learning how to ride a bike. Lots and lots of practice, and suddenly you go "Aha!", when you figure out how the trailer goes depending on how you steer. And then you practice some more 😃
@@TruckerCassie I'm guessing the one thing important regardless of anything, it's do it slowly 😊
I grew up not around big trucks with sleeper cabs but with flat bed trucks that haul lumber sense my dad works in a lumber yard. I do find it so interesting the differences between semis and other trucks in Canada and USA compared to the UK.
That is one fantastic truck with a lot of smart functions 😀👍🏻
I used to drive trucks in Germany in the 70's and 80's - yes , I'm that old !!😂
I find it amazing how things have changed , back in my day trucks were soooo basic , and very different. Really interesting to see all the great equipment you have in your modern truck.
Also , you are a great presenter , and put so much effort into your videos , camera angles etc.
Great stuff Cassie , you have a new fan and subscriber !!!
Keep on trucking , and posting !!😀👍
What a lovely comment! It cheered me up to read it 😃 Yeah trucks have come a far way in driver comfort and such in a fairly short time 🥳
Excellent vídeo Cassie SCANIA THE King of Truck inconc respetc SCANIA greetings from Brazil 🇧🇷👍
Tack återigen för en bra video! Alltid lika intressant! Tycker verkligen om att höra om dina erfarenheter från vägarna! Hälsa Erik!
Kudos.I am over the road and have a cascadia. That smaller truck would definately make me use my space wisely.Keep up the great work!! Stay safe
(We have those over here)
She is practically sitting on the engine... if she is driving just domestically, she is probably sleeping at home most of the nights.
I wish to become a truck driver. I'm from Kenya 🇰🇪 and I am passionate about trucks. Help me achieve my dreams. Thank you
@@sundaysimulation3567 I had a friend in Salt Lake City, Ut, USA that was originally from Kenya and he moved to the United States and became an American citizen and got a CDL in currently drives American Trucks and also was working on his Pilots License. If he can do it I know you can too! Good luck!
Interesting video and content in general! Bingewatched your last ~30mth in the last three days (what "a" ride you had! Physically but more important mentally) and will def continue! Btw: haven't heard Tiger Lou's 'Horatio' quite a while and is still one of my fav songs ever. Fell instantly in love again :D Best wishes and a happy 2023 from Hamburg, Germany
It's very informative..and happy to see you again Cassie
Good one Cassie!!!
Thumbup and subscription!!
I drive semi+trailer supplying supermarkets....and I love it!!!
Greetings,Henk,Netherlands.
That was a great video, I drive in the US going on 32 years. My truck is so much different then yours, then the roads are different too. I view me as self contained since I have everything I need in life in the truck. Keep pushing for safety it is always a good thing. Good luck in your career.
Thanks Cassie. I'm very impressed as technology makes it safer for the driver.
I drove for DHL for 12yrs LGV(class 1 UK) previous to that I had worked agency everything Chilled vans through to when I passed my class1 I delivered cocktail chunks to airports and cheese to HM prisons I have worked 7:5 tonners for Argos doing more drops than Santa After 30yrs of my life in a garageworkshop It was Bliss Thank you young Lady for taking me bac to a good time in my life
Thanks Cassie I used to drive a truck not as modern as yours is today but I appreciate you taking time out to run through some of the modern equipment on board keep cool UK.😁
I dont know why your vlogs came up into my youtube watchlist but i am hooked already :) i would doubt if i could drive such a huge truck - great stuff you can :)
A huge congrats Cassie. You are doing great, keep up the good work. Cheers 🥂
Thank you so much! ☺️
I've always been thinking that truck-driving looks fun!
Good subject matter Cassie. Nice to see you once again. You look great and I hope that means that your feeling great too. Be safe especially with the coming Christmas traffic.
Stay safe Cassie. Love to watch your videos. God bless you and bless Swedish technology.
Awesome video Cassie! Maybe someday, you’ll get a chance to try some of our highway sleeper trucks over here in Canada. Cheers my dear and be safe🙏🙏
Today i learned truckers sleep in their trucks.
(Jokes aside, wonderful introduction to truck cab for those who have not seen one before) And also always some tiny details to discover which I haven't seen before. Such as missing arm rests on passenger seats? what the heck woow XD
Oh and also.. that blindspot camera that locks in at low speeds, oh my that's even more annoying than in Volvo when the seatbelt chime rings, you are unable to do anything to the radio. Cannot adjust the volume or anything. I think that is really frustrating and something maybe even suggest to Scania that they would get rid of. It's a safety feature after all, but all it's doing is making truckers frustrated and multitask on the phone instead 😂😅
Really loved the video!! Stay awesome Cassie! 🤩🎉 And HaaAaAAaPppPPyYY WeEEeeKeEENnNnnnDdDD :HYPERS:
Yey what a joyful comment! Happy weekend to you too! 🥳
Haha yeah lots of the new technology that is built for safety reasons bits itself in the foot in lots of moments. Making the driver frustrated and learns how to work around the systems somehow 😆
Take care and thank you for watching! Wiie
Scania is the best !
Good job,Cassie 👋👋👋!
I've never driven or even ride in a lorry but this was really interesting. Love from the UK :).
Hello Cassie 👋 🫂. How have you been? Thanks for the great tour of your Scania cab. That is a mighty fancy truck it has more features than my new SUV. You always look so adorable 😍 💕. Stay safe and have a wonderful holiday season 😊 😘
Thank you for the tour, Cassie! 🤩 Very interesting for me as a non truck driver 😊
Great training for me on those buttons, my trainer never mentioned them at all.
I'm interesting for R500.Thanks Cassie for great vlog cab tour.
Hi 👋 🌸🌸
Just wanted to say …
It’s very inspiring seeing a lady like you driving a truck for living.
If i seen you outside away from trucks, in a million years I couldn’t guess you’re a truck driver. 😁👍🌸
Saying that , need to add, you’re absolutely gorgeous yourself and what a amazing and impressive truck with latest technology truck you got there.👍👏👏
I never seen a truck with so much high tech before.
Just in case if you ever fancy a good looking co-driver from England let me know 😜👍🌸
Really enjoyed watching your clips.
Keep it up
👍👏🌸🌸
So cool to see how trucks are little different from US trucks. Sweden is such lovely country. Never been to Sweden. Hope to visit one day. Be safe out there always
I like to use the fan in conjunction with the heater in the chair as it spreads out the heat in the chair better.
Thank you Cassie for the video. Practical for me, its the first time to check the whole implements wich a truck may have. Wishes more and more succesfull in your day by day. Greetings from Bolivia 😁👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Enjoy your videos, technology has come a long way since I drove trucks, Thank you from West Texas.
I could watch and listen to you explaining these kind of things all day long ! Can you do some more ' how to ' videos ?
Stay safe Cassie. XX
Nice and informative video! Inspired to make something like this since i am new truck driver and also making pov videos. Best of luck, Cassie

Hi cassie, great video. I love the tour of your truck.I i myself are not a trucker but I now a lot more about your work. Please, nice to see you again keep safe and well Rob 🇬🇧
Great video as always Cassie. The first thing I do when I watch your videos is turn off sub titles. Your English is so perfect that it's not necessary. I hope you are keeping busy and well. Would be nice to see Viggo accompanying you again soon. Take care 👍
Mycket intressant video väldigt bra förklarat 10/10. Jag visste inte att Änglar körde Lastbil :D
Great video Cassie
Contrast-color seatbelt -- likely used to allow easier identification of non-belt-wearing drivers by LEO, I see them in some US haulage industries.
Nice showing , i like how this truck is set up , i like the mention of every car driver should ride in a truck , thank you for sharing . like your channel ' peace an blessings craig usa
