@@gggumball well when I got my 4K TV I also got the last 3D TV made and future proof (all current tech my TV has except 120hz) but when I first started seeing RUclips, he’ll even Netflix had a 4K HDR specific section and movies it looked amazing! Running Black Ops 3 intro on PS4 Pro made my kids mom puke and cry (TV is 65 inch but also had this 3D popping out feel from pixel density) and to this day I haven’t seen a new TV even more expensive than mine beat it ($5K) as all manufacturing went down hill and they started selling lower tiers for what used to be the old high tiers... And then 4K became soft looking, compressed hell I don’t even know the difference on streaming apps anymore and PS5/Xbox Series X are all upscaled/checkerboard around 1440p and sold as 4K... so no one can tell the difference from 1080p to 4K games because 4K became a pass to be lazy and do crappy work because of the higher res! I had a PS1 and N64 back in 2000 when I was around 7 years old in kindergarten but I didn’t get a PS2 til like 2003 i think my mom bought it for me for $200 when I was around 9/10 years old now I’m 30 going to be 31 in 4 months I sure miss the PS2 days playing GTA 3,Gran Tursimo 3,Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance and ATV Off Road Fury 2 the graphics were mind blowing back then after upgrading to PS2 from PS1 back then now i have the PS5 and graphics aren’t too much difference from the PS4 as compared to PS1 to PS2 .
40 year old here and I started on my uncles atari 2600 then blown away by an NES..then SNES n64 and ps2 then xbox...bit xbox 360 was what really blew me out of the water and games haven't really improved much since. Max payne and doa2 are games that still hold up but it's the ps2 and xbox 360 gen that's really the last and best major upgrade
On top of creating accounts, requiring internet, download updates and games before even getting to access a new console... assuming your even managed to get one... and can afford $700 cash up front compared to 2000s for $200-300 and going home to plug-in, pop in new games and play 😂
