So I'm a huge Davinci Resolve fan however the new features in Lightcut sound great for even I'm traveling and want to share out something really quickly. AI that detects smooth shots and it pieces them together! Insane! And all of it in 4K not lower resolution. Great review!
The video I've been waiting for! Extensive and indepth coverage as usual! The machine itself looks like another step in the right direction for DJI! Big up Mike!
Epic locations and powerful little guy. For all those with the Air 2s only, this is a great time to upgrade. So many good options available from DJI. Great video bro. Hope you are well.
As far a vertical shooting goes, I feel like DJI missed an opportunity to have open gate recording. That's basically recording with the full sensor and cropping it in post. Fujifilm and Panasonic already have open gate recording on their cameras which makes it useful to edit the same footage for both RUclips and TikTok.
Actually the vertical mode is indeed a crop. Your comparison is with 16:9 - thats NOT the full sensor. While 16:9 looks good to most, and you may render in 16:9, you need to shoot 4:3 mode to use the full sensor and get 12/48 megapixel. The vertical is cropping on 4:3. Dont believe me? Take that same shot that you show "more" of the scene with vertical. Now compare the vertical with a 4:3 shot. See? 👍
Pardon the simple question: Do both cameras operate consurrently, so that a video (or set of photos) are captured in pairs? Or are we required to make changes to configuration (pardon the term) on the fly?
any info on this: Both cameras can shoot in the typical modes at up to 4K resolution, but DJI also added a new dual-camera shooting mode that captures 2.7K vertical video with the tele lens and a second video with the wide angle lens. This produces a tight shot of the main subject that can be shared without cropping to social networks that prefer portrait orientation, all while the wide angle camera captures a full view that can fill out the edges when the video is posted to places that prefer landscape orientations.
Great and informative video! I got about ten notifications on RUclips from different creators when the drone was released, but I knew I only needed to see your video to get the best information. Thanks 😃
I can't believe they downgraded the sensor, it's wild that a drone now over 2 years old shoots higher quality RAW photos than this new one. Disappointing.

Looking good Mike
Likewise Aldryn, thanks for stopping by 🙌🏼
Yeah but when is the 3s release date? Probably 6 months or less. Right around Christmas I bet.
It’s an never ending cycle, you know 😀

You’re the man! Thank you 🙌🏼
So does this come c1 certified from dji? No need to request c1 certification?
Interesting but wont be springing to add to my fleet.
Clear reviews Sir ❤️👍🤝🤝
Glad you like them!
If you are drone-less, would you pick Air 3 over the Mavic 3 Classic?
Yes, definitely
Great video Mike! Already subscribed
Awesome, thank you!
Nice 1 Mike
I only want them to give the Air 2S the C1 certification.
Why is the video all jerky?
Are you watching it drunk? 🥴
The Best Review So FAR!
much appreciated!

Watch my video closely where I talk about this exact thing, it's actually the other way around :)
