Only Sebastian can sing this song ...one of the most underrated song ballads of all time ...what a voice
I always think of that first "Prophecy" movie when I hear this song.
Zanders 1111 I love this song!
@@joewhiteside3393 me too
Only true fans know this amazing ballad.
one of their best song ever !!!
Sebastian was the best thing that happened to Skid Row and without him there is no Skid Row
Yes... no sebastian no skid row
they’re just some kind of cover band now~~~~
Actually without Dave Snake Sabo and Rachel Bolan there is no Skid Row, since they wrote 99.99% of the songs, music and lyrics. Sebastian Bach was just a voice. A good voice but he barely contributed in the song writing process.
@@devilboystone But he was the face of the band (like it or not he was the key pretty boy back in the day) and his natural charisma went a long way in making them successful. That said Im not taking sides here and Im not trying to devalue your comment, I think they just would have all been better if they had stuck together and sorted their BS out.
@@nativeeurope1299 I agree with you 100 percent. I love the first two records. I wish they could settle the bullshit too because I don't like Skid Row without Sebastian Bach and I don't like Sebastian Bach without Skid Row!!
I want to go back to 1980 to 1995 again please GOD for the music. BRING BACK METAL...
‘76-‘91 and you got a deal
Ide give a teste
1990-1997 better times 😊❤
We can live and love the things we had back then, now! ❤
Sebastian is a Great singer.
This whole album was so good. It’s a shame it never got the love it deserved.
I agree, I think it got 0 promotion and mtv was only playing grunge vids. Probably got some play on headbangers ball, I don't recall.
@@scottthompson4193 into another and breakin down got played several times, however late night/early morning on an mtv show called "dreamtime". the album got pretty good promotion from atlantic in the states, however it was radio that didn't seem to pick up the songs, as they were not very accessible to radio.
where i lived in portland oregon, the main rock station at the time was 101kufo, and they played into another, and breakin down, but maybe twice a day. certainly not in any regular rotation.
the album got coverage in entertainment weekly, rolling stone, metal edge, kerrrang, and lots of metal-based publications.
i think you could have promoted the hell out of the record, but it wasn't going to take off very well because of the musical climate. they toured by themselves on this record to start, and that was in clubs...then opened the summer 1996 tour for van halen on the balance tour, in america. a lot of the venue's in the us were larger when initially booked, then downsized because of poor ticket sales. i know they came to salem oregon to play the armory (5000 capacity) and it was moved to the roseland theater (1200 capacity).
@@scottthompson4193 It was hyped as hell in Europe back then.
Sebastian Bach is (in my opinion) one of the top five BEST singers of ALL TIME! 🤟
In his day,not too many,if any could touch him. Now?? That's a totally different story.
Very good
I think the same is the best singers of all time
In Rock music
The best, absolutely...unbelievable reach, especially in the higher notes, lovely 👍😍👍
Bach is a great singer and HE IS DAMN BEAUTIFUL....❤️❤️❤️
One of the Best Rock voices of the 80's
yes, together with LouGramm, SteveOverland (FM), Perry etc..
I love this song and video. Sebastian is one of the best. What a Voice ❤️
Skid Row Lost Its Way When They Lost Sebastian The Best Heavy Metal Vocal Voice
skid row imploded for a lot of reasons....sebastian was out of control at the time, and literally his own agent, staff, and the band's manager wanted nothing to do with him. that's not a knock at him...its just the reality of the situation. they actually broke up...then got back together and chose to go without him. whether they "lost their way" or not, the climate was also very different for them.
Fact, the man had a headcold when he cut this, coming off being sick with flu like symptoms...still killed it...
Still hands down one of the best front men. Bazz's solo work is phenomenal.
Wish these guy could have one more tour together. Such a great catalogue of songs. This is another one of Sebastian’s great vocal performances. Dude has awesome pipes.
Please enjoy my youtube music content..
i think a lot of people wish for one more tour...but at this point, i really don't think they will. everytime bas open's his mouth, there is some jab at skid row in a way...and why would they want to bring back someone that just continually does that? yes, lots of bands can tour separate from each other, and only see each other on stage, but the issue is that half of what bas does on stage annoys the shit out of them to the point that they don't want to be associated with it.
they have never once slagged him and said he didn't sing good, or perform good...they just don't want to be around him, found him disrespectful to staff and people interviewing them (being late, blowing off interviews, and being an ass), and he cost them a ton of money. while i loved bach's voice, and his performances, you can't blame them for not wanting to work with someone....just like we all wouldn't want to be forced to work with someone we didn't like in our workplace.
That voice, incredible. Masterpiece this song
What a gorgeous creature was Sebastian
I saw them in 91 with Soundgarden opening for them. sadly it was the beginning of the end for them. even at 60 years old I love this band. The 80's /early 90's was a great time to be young.
Yes it was. We had the greatest music. Hard rock/metal and even the pop scene was perfect. Never to be that great again.
You are right the 80’s and 90’s were a great time to be young!
Weren’t you like 30 then..?
Yep.. Now it's mostly garbage
Same age as you, We had the best times back then , BEST Music too. Skid row Rocked along with so many groups back then. Miss those times.
Skid Row's voyage into Grunge. The song was in a movie called The Prophecy, with Christopher Walken, Virginia Madsen, Viggo Mortenson, Eric Stolz, Amanda Plummer and more.
Just rewatched it cause I heard the credits was like wait no no can’t be so underrated song and movie they will both get big now thanks to apps Like stirr hopefully
Not to mention Elias Koteas!
Not many people know that...props to you
True, basically silver chair kinda reincarnated skid row
👀👍
I don't even know when Skid Row will deny that he doesn't need Sebastian ... this man was basically the band's gear, look at this vocal of the gods...
Bas!! I was about 16 when I developed a huuuuge crush on him. 45 now.
And what a voice! He was choir-trained in school..such amazing range!
Now excuse me while I go finish sobbing into my beer..such a beautiful hidden gem of a song!
Hello, how are you doing? It is nice seeing you here
Literally one of my favorite cd’s I had growing up. This is my favorite Skid Row song ❤️
Hair goals 🔥
Rock Axis right ? I think we need to bring it back.
🔥🔥🔥
Sebastian bach is sexiest man in 90 era
Still sexy in my eyes lol 🤟🤟😁
Axl Rose was looking good back then too. Sic transit...:(
he is still the best
Super agree. These guys were the cutest from the “hair metal” scene:
1. Sebastian
2. Axl
3. Kotzen
4. Blas Elias
5. Duff
@@ricasrucksack slash looked good as well.
This song is easily my favorite skid row song, its beautiful.
私にとっては、このメンバーがスキッド・ロウ。

To those of you that saw Skid Row with Sebastian Bach and Rob Affuso you guys are very lucky....I’m only 19 years old ;-;.......where’s a time machine when you need one
Darian Hedayati and i'm 13 :(
Same, I'm 18
I caught them when they were a backup band on Aerosmith's tour in Aug 1989. Their first album had been out for a few months and I phoned for tickets about an hour before the show and got 6th-row floor. This is back when you could still rush the stage and we spent the entire show about 10 feet from Sebastian and Steven Tyler. They played their whole first album with such energy I was amazed. One of the best shows Ive seen. Skid Row that is. Aerosmith was just ok..
Saw them twice. Sorry, just wanted to rub your nose in it.
Got two picks off Scott, and got to talk at some length with Baz while he was on-stage. About some guys who were next to me who were giving him shit and then left. He was asking me where they went, he wanted to kick their arses. I told him they said they were going to a nearby club, rock city, and he said the band were heading there after the show. Invited the whole venue back to the club with them. And then the fucker never showed up there anyway. Only time I felt I wasted my money at rock city, ever.
27 🖐
This song is too underrated, one of the best Skid Row songs ever! Easily my favorite album ever, I have every single release from this album including singles and the Japanese 1995 live album. Such a precious and overlooked gem.
I like the song very much but it sounds like a song the was featured on the CW network tv show trailer. On the next Gilmoore Girls, haha.
This entire record is underrated. It was exactly the record a band like them needed to put out at the time, and with a little support from radio and MTV, maybe things would have played out differently
It could have been a good third eye blind song. But its bad skid row song.
every fuckin video i watch someone says this is underrated, stop it now!!
@Pleastendub OK THEN.
Baz had better hair than most women I've ever known. Wish I'd had the chance to see him on Broadway when he was in Jekyll & Hyde. Love those pipes!
@Amy Brunner He was great on Broadway. :)
The full broadway show is on YT
He was soo good 😍
Man they're a very underrated rock band
I'm here because I rewatched The Prophecy from 1995 and this song plays during the credits. This brought it back to my mind. Awesome song and band.
This song one of the most beautiful ...touches the soul!
Hello, how are you doing? It is nice seeing you here
This is one of the greatest albums of all time.
Skid Row made big mistake claiming they don't need Sebastia. Oh, they do.
Yep
I agree
I was so sad too.
They can’t do it without him. He is the band!
Totally agree saw them 4 times back in the day late 80s mid 90s . Daughter got me tickets to see then last year . Didn’t even bother to go . Get baz back you morons.
What I wouldn't do to go back to the 80s and 90s! Best music and shows ever!
I’ve been binging on this video for 3 days. I can’t get enough. Sebastian was perfection. Simply put. The entire band was nothing short of magical. Where was this shot?

Handsome man😍 Sebastian Bach 😍 Love this Song 😍
Uma das vozes mais lindas do mundo do rock... Sebastian canta demais.
Skid row's epitaph
Sebastian's voice... Something more than perfect...
the guitar solo on this song is understated perfection!
Their albums are really solid. It's definitely an underrated band 🤘😎
your wearing my f*cking glasses 🤝
When were they underrated? Skid Row was the sh!t back in the day! They were never underrated! I saw them when they first came out and on tour with Bon Jovi. Bon Jovi's manager Doc McGhee got Skid Row their record deal.
@@kacwyo don't know about your part of the world??? You don't hear much radio play of their many good songs. You'll hear jovi/poison/gnr...etc regularly. But not row. That was my point. They certainly don't do big stadiums...etc like many other 80/90's bands. When they were peaking, grunge/alternative was the next big thing ✌️😎
I can't believe I haven't heard this song before so cool. I'm a Skid Row fan from way back Just saw SB in Orlando he freakin rocked it
BAZ.. sings this with complete passion so effortlessly!! Way to go BAZ! See you on the Slave To the Grind Tour, here in Florida! 🤘🤘🎶🎸🎸🌹
I absolutely love this song.
One of their song to accommodate those alternatives era
Some bands no matter the talent. Just don't break through the next generation. This is a really relatable sing.
For All the Lost & Lonely. The Outcast & Outlawed. The Downtrodden & Discarded. The Fallen & Forgotten. We are not Alone. Open your Eyes & Mind. Look Within. Listen & Learn from Others. RISE UP AS ONE.💜☪️
Surely in the 90s top ten best rock songs. I was born in the 80s and grew up in the 90s, I can assure you: there's no technology that can replicate what living in the 90s was like.
Skid row forever
One simple beautiful riff can make the world a more beautiful place. No need to make things complicated.
Sebastian is awesome but the Bolan/Sabo combo doesn't get the credit they deserve. Their song writing is right up there and that's what makes Skid Row relevant and timeless.
My favorite band. Bravo Skid Row👍
Mine too
Anche per me ♥️♾
okay for some reason I've been avoiding this song but now I listened to it and I'm obsessed it's such a beautiful song ❤️
Same happened to me with Toto afrika, i thought the song wasnt thst good for years, Now i cant stop listening to it

His voice was made for this song🤘🏻🤘🏻
This is one of my favorite songs of all time.
Underrated song!!! "Subhuman Beings" is my favorite Skid Row album🎤
Sorry to be "that guy" but it's actually Subhuman Race.
@@davidl570 someone had to say it😁
@@joejanzen5511 Yep, might as well be me, what the hey!
The first three Skid Row records all accomplished the goal of becoming a better band each record. "Slave To The Grind" is better overall but the deepest moments of the bands songwriting can be found on "Subhuman Race."
It's come out that the band was really in conflict during this record and it shows. Maybe that's what it took to come up with songs like "Breakin' Down" and "Into Another."
Anyways people will disagree but this is my favorite record by Skid Row because it feels the most vulnerable. Slave felt like a record put out by superheroes that were invincible and had great balance with the slower songs and the debut record was a statement of intent. The first record doesn't get enough credit and neither does this one. All three of them are classics and I still listen to all of them to this day
One of the few bands that stood their ground when faced with grunge
You're not a die hard Skid Row fan if you never acknowledged that the Subhuman Race era was bitchin'. So damn brilliant, too sophisticated for most of the bandwagon jumpers of their commercial success. I've never even seen this video!! What a treat 25 years later! The scenes with the suits are so killer!!
100 % agree.
I was 25 when this dropped loved this album...I never saw this video until today either..lol another hair band that had a post hair great album too was Warrant Dog Eat Dog so not what I expected when I heard it
@@ugaais 100% agree about Dog Eat Dog. "The Bitter Pill" hits so hard. Ultraphobic also, "Undertow" was so catchy.
SO many feels and nostalgia. I was 15 in 1995 and so glad I got to see them on this tour before the split. Very underrated album this and one of my favourite songs. Thanks for uploading the video x
Scotti 😍💞🤗💯
The grungy Skid Row period. You feel like Chris Cornell will step in shouting "I'm goin' hungry" anytime.
I remember the days when this video was #1 in Disk MTV (Brazilian TRL). Skid Row mania!
Why was it called "Disk"?

Only the power of THAT voice could capture the magic of the city of New Orleans, as shown in the video. Like lightning in a bottle, and a great moment in rock.
This is by far one of the best, most under appreciated Skid Row songs of all. Sad they had to make the 90's grunge looking video though. I think if some of these bands would have just stuck to their guns at the time, maybe toned down the party a little, but not go full on depressing Seattle look, they might have weathered the storm. Skid Row was a mess internally by this time so it might not have made a difference, though.
this is a very well put statement, and accurate. this band was in shambles at the end of the slave tour. separate busses, and lots of internal issues, not just with bach. it took a lot of work to get them back in a studio in mid-1994, and bach threatened to not take part if they didn't give him equal writing credit. bach has always had a fear of not being vince neil, and also has a complex about what happened with the bon jovi publishing deal, and not being left out. for a songwriting team like bolan and snake, they don't enjoy working with others...and certainly with their own issues with bach, it made for a very ugly situation.
One of the most underrated songs ballads of all time!
Underrated album: Subhuman Race. This is from the soundtrack of "The Prophecy" starring Christopher Walken.
Another underrated comment stop it now.
It's breaking down.I'm so happy praying Amen.😇😇😇

So nice to see an official video for this on here. Such a great song.
Some bits of country music, awesome! One of my favorite ballads.
I remember watching the end credits for "the prophecy" in theaters when I was very young. I freakin head banged to the main riffs with everyone else in the theater. I haven't heard a song that touches my soul like that in a very long time.
