Garden looking good despite the lack of water. Our beans are not there yet. My pineapple is all rooted up and really needs planted. Great video my friend
Just looking at that pineapple you could tell it is sweet as pie! That bottle neck could be from those ol’ boys down in Lynchburg. God bless the USA 🇺🇸
I have not been able to get the pineapples as big as store bought even when grown in ground. Maybe it has to do with the store bought being grown in volcanic soil? They are definitely sweeter than store bought and now you can make additional plants too!
@@burntchurch A green house would definitely be a big help. If you build it big enough you could also grow banana, citrus, mango and avocado. Use pineapple as a ground cover between other plants. Bananas - most have a height of 6-8ft but some varieties can get much taller. They can also grow under other trees that grow bigger. Citrus, avocado and mango - there are dwarf varieties but you can also prune them to fit your green house if they aren't dwarf. The downside is is that the roots and trunk can still get large. Some people keep them in pots to limit growth, but that can also limit their production and life span. Papaya - I have seen some short with large trunks. But most of the time they want to grow to 20 - 30 ft.
