Lol, you never see Ricky advertise Karl's books or shows that he doesn't make with Gervais.
Catherine why would he? he's a businessman, why would he give his competition free advertising? what sort of ridiculous thing is that to even type? he doesn't advertise the shitty films Steve Merchant is in, or portal 2 either, does that make him a bad person somehow?
Well, since they're meant to be friends, and Ricky simply loves Karls mind, you'd assume he might say 'Check out Karls new book' randomly on facebook, or just commenting on how well Karl's doing lately, but he only does that when he's involved. Beyonce promotes her sisters album on her instagram. It comes across a tad childish. Karl mentioned how funny Stephen looks in his Crystal Maze X Men bald albino get up the other day on Facebook.
+Catherine You lost me at Beyonce.
Catherine they arent "meant" to be friends, they are, that doesn't change the fact that Ricky owns and operates a production company and has no onus to promote a rival product regardless of who is in it. as I pointed out, he doesn't do the same for Steve, that Karl does means nothing, as he has no horse in the race, it doesn't infer he's a better or worse person than Ricky, is he more earnest? for sure but he doesn't run a production company so he doesn't have to protect any investments.
Karl’s actually really clever but the way he says stuff is idiotic
How is it clever to not understand anything and refusing to use his head regarding anything remotely complex?
“Just chuck shit up into space”
@@Nova-tu9xi not interested
@@Nova-tu9xi oh God do you really not get it?
He's not really clever, he's just a curious bloke who speaks his mind. He's certainly not an idiot though.
3:45 ahaha he was so close to saying chair
Karl's flabbergasted face at the end of the slug discussion and his messed up demeanor in the next segment is the most hilarious emotion I've seen on a human
Ricky: What's the answer to life, the universe and everything?
Karl: What's for tea?
Pop it in youtube
Absolutely love Karl , great philosopher , comic and life in general genius!🙏👍❤

If I've learnt anything from this sit down so far with Karl it's that it's OK to overlook things. Don't cram your mind.

OMFG, when Karl said "Pack it in, Steve, have a rest," I literally laughed for about 3 minutes. Good lord, I love Karl.
I love Ricky rolling his eyes talking about the “magic” of god..
Proceeds to discuss the big bang in a whimsical miraculous sense. Lol
And the fact that the big bang was theorised by a priest lol
-Marmotte. Mouse.
-You're just saying words... What's a Marmotte?
This is GENIUS.
😂😂😂😂😂
‘What’s a marmot?’ I’ve got tears 😭🤣😂 I love him!
"I don't know what you're doing now, you're just saying words at me"....."What's a marmot?"
I don't know why but this made me cry with laughter.
What're they doing knockin' about in there? Get out! lol!
funniest comment ever.
"Leave your golf clubs at home, and take some shit up with you, and tip it."
Ricky sounds a lot like a televangelist when he talks about the miracle of science. And by proxy it makes Karl sound like Ricky.
I could listen to these two for hours 👍
