Plus Ricky is too busy with After Life and his stand up specials (rightly so) and doesn’t create with others as much anymore, maybe he’ll get the band back together and we can look forward to more fun from Karl and the gang. I’m so glad I found this on Netflix before it was taken off. So damn funny. I binged the entire thing in a matter of days. I’d give anything to see more of it haha
I tried to binge watch season 1 + 2 recently but I had to stop on season 2 as I just started to feel bad for him. It is clear when watching these back to back that he was genuinely feeling the negative emotions he portrays during filming. He was suitably rewarded for his experiences but in the moment it is still a bit jarring. I’m a big fan of the series and I think it’s some of the best primetime television I ever watched when it came out but it’s a definite weekly watch for me.

I still say, the best thing they ever did were the original shows on XFM, with just Ricky, Steve n Karl in room chatting, playing records and just having organic discussions...sometimes philisophical, sometimes comedic, sometimes complete gibberish, always entertaining.
