I believe the pcv valve is incorporated under the top of the valve cover and you have to replace the valve cover. I'm speaking of a 2003 Saturn ion Quad coup with the 2.2 ecotec engine.
Appreciate the reminder about the PCV valve. Reminds me of how many times a shop (including my Saturn Dealership Sales Staff back in the day) "forgot" that my specific ION doesn't have a CVT nor Hydraulic Power Steering. Have changed A LOT of Gas Caps in the last 20 years... May be time to check if that part needs TLC. (Seems easy enough to check function... Maybe even cheap enough?? to just buy/replace "just in case".
This helps. I found this while looking for EGR Valve replacement. For 2004 Ion with 2.2 L ( Thanks google for the bad search results. ). Going to go like the PVC valve? Don't need EGR yet, but Innova scan tool thinks I will be needing one soon.
It is probably referring to the evap canister located at the gas tank near the fuel filter, mine was fine however due to corrosion where I live the line was completely corroded through. (Line failure was driver side directly below driver seat, fuel lines also fail at this point as did mine)

Thank you, I'd never changed this part before. Once again the Saturns have a much easier process than expected.
Welcome!

Changed my pcv valve in seconds!
Thanks so much!

Do you have to disconnect the battery before start?
@@OhChino-er6ih I did not, but some people always disconnect for safety reasons, or if the car has a remote start.
@@kd_enterprise3404 oh ok thanks
Whats the part connected to it my system check says there are 2 parts to fix

@kd_enterprise3404 Thanks, that's probably it.
The PVC is in the intake manifold and can be replaced by removing the manifold.
Ohhhhhh...
Thank you!
En español estaría mejor
