Not only Saxophone! Clarinet, Violin, Duduk, Trumpet, Synth's and many other instruments as well as normal electric guitar, flamenco, classical & dobro slide acoustic.
That’s what I thought, seems an odd decision to be so good at playing guitar, to then have it sounding like a flipping saxophone.! Not too sure if you’d attract so many guitarists or saxophonists to your music really, neither one or the other.
Who wants to listen to guitar for 1hour 30mins no matter how well its played? I don't! I want to change to a different solo instrument even in the same track in a trio context to keep things interesting. Also since when was it compulsory for a guitar to sound like a guitar anyway? Do you hear people complaining about Synth keyboard players not sounding like a piano? @@6deste
Thanks Roy, I’d say the millions of people world wide who love instrumental guitar based music presently, and over the last 50 years or so would probably want to listen to it. But all power to you, and all success with the sax guitar thing.
@@6deste Thank you! You do realise 90% of my studio and live videos on this channel showcase electric and acoustic guitar without the SWAM software and that a concert would involve that side of things as well? Or are you judging everything I do on one video? which btw has been well received by many worldwide and imo makes a pleasant change to the usual guitar solo yawnfest. Holdsworth had a similar reaction when he dropped his work with the Synthaxe back in the day. Now we have technology that is practically identical sonically to other instruments available to everyone. It’s evolutionary in many different ways. Especially when using dynamics with guitar without the use of fingers or a pick. Now the guitar can have better dynamic range and flow like woodwinds or a violin with or without modelled tones added. The world of guitar has evolved and I am bringing it in 2024 and beyond.
Amazing phrasing and great balance between feel and unhinged virtuosity. Love it!
Deep emotion in every note.
Beautiful ❤
What a player.
Good luck guys.
A bit special.
Just so beautiful, thanx a lot 😊
What synthesizer do you use? I see it has no latency and you don't have the hexaphonic pickup here. Sounding fantastic. Where may I buy your album?
