I also recommend when you come back to OKC, you visit the Oklahoma History center as well as the Bombing Memorial, maybe visit our Zoo and the new First Americans Museum as well , seeing the white water in person was pretty neat, driven by it many times but never visited it
Next time you come through, go to McKlintocks in Stockyard city! Also a nice steak house w a beautiful authentic wood bar! Ask for Alex as your server! He’s amazing and will give you the most amazing experience. Some say this place serves better steak than Cattlemen’s. But I agree Cattleman’s is top tier! I always say OKC is very under-rated. There is so much to do there and the surrounding areas, and you can do everything you want without being crowded with tons of other tourists. Bricktown is fun and Midtown is just north of there and its basically a extension of Bricktown. If you go back you definitely need to eat at the top of the Devon Tower if you're willing to spend the money. The steaks are better than Cattlemens imo. Great Video!

I just stumbled across you guys today and I love your videos! I live 30min south of Wichita, KS in Wellington and so that's the first video I watched. I absolutely love Cowtown and I used to actually dress up as a prairie girl when I was younger and "work" with my Girl Scout troop during the Christmas season...which is the most magical time to be there! They have horse drawn wagon rides through the snow and caroling and Santa even makes an 1800s appearance. It's very cool! I have been to OKC many times but never knew about the Wheeler District! I will have to take my hubby and check it out!

Great video. Thanks for sharing. I was visiting from Australia 7 years ago and visited the National Cowboy Museum and it was fantastic. One of the best museums I have been in. I see there are a few new exhibits outside and can't wait to come back and visit again in 2025.
I've lived here for 30yrs from California. OKC has come a long way but still has a long way to go. I stay for the nice people cheap housing and politically speaking Oklahoma is a freedom state.
There's so much more do here in Oklahoma, i'm glad you all enjoyed your time here! Next time you all come back to OKC, you all should definitely go to Frontier City! It's an amuesment park owned by Six Flags. Again I could name all other things to do here in OK but since there's so much it'll be a long list!😂 I feel bad you all didn't get to experience going on the ferries wheel but hopefully next time you will. If it's not too late I would love to have those tickets. My boyfriend and I are wanting to go out on a date and I would love to get those tickets for the both of us! if not that is total fine i'll still get tickets for us to end our night on the ferries wheel! I really enjoyed your videos and I love both of your energy be safe on your future trips!!!😁😁

The Cowboy Hall of Fame is one of my favorite museums glad you enjoyed it! Oklahoma is my home state and you made it look so fun! I have not tried the tubing I will definitely have to try it this summer! I have had the lamb fries before because my dad told me they were chicken nuggets and I liked them but when I found out what they really were I was disgusted but they actually taste really good just have to get over what they are. I would love the tickets to the Faris wheel to take my sister.
Honestly, it was one of our most memorable museums. The art they had was some of our absolute favs! Oklahoma is a great state! We can't wait to come back & explore more! bahahaha I mean they did look like chicken nuggets... I'm glad I'm not alone in liking them. Glad you two enjoyed your trip here. There are many more amazing places to visit. You may have seen one, the Land Run statues while on your canal trip. Your restaurant selections were both some of my favorites. Another free exhibit is the Route 66 Park. Also the colors and sun reflections from the Devon Tower are absolutely amazing. And there's a town called eufaula and there they have a huge water park on top of the lake it's called Yogi Bear and they have paddle boarding and canoeing and if you don't want in the lake they have mini golf and there is also a pool there and when you're paying just $20 to get in there is also a bar and a gift shop mixed with a make your own pizza or snow cone and other edibles to make your own but if you don't want anything from there to eat across from the water park there is a place called Katt Daddy's Coy it's a sea food restaurant and in my opinion their the ones who make the best calf fries also if you don't like sea food it's mixed with a BBQ and burger joint we call burger places burger joints lol so yea anything you desire they've got it and ofc the rolls are to die for and you can choose to dine inside or outside and I recommend outside because it's a pretty view watching the sunset and plus there are piranha fish there that you can feed so tell them if you could sit outside and I'm sorry of how long I've made this message but you guys have to go I'm sure you'll love especially the fish have a good day or night just depends when you see this message bye very much love from Oklahoma!!!

Cattlemens lamb fries are the best you can get in the state. A squeeze of lemon and coctail sauce is the owrfect combo. Cattlemens is a place every visitor to okc should eat at.
Hey look, it's OKC! One day could be Riversport ($49 each), Cowboy ($12.50 each), Bricktown canal ($13 each!), Wheeler's ferris wheel ($6 each) -- or $80+ each not including meals. Kinda pricey for some of us. You can also see cow auction at stockyards (free), amazing Oklahoma Contemporary (free), OKC downtown tunnels (free), Plaza Walls mural district in Wayne Coyne's neighborhood (free), pose with Route 66 Milk Bottle in Vietnamese neighborhood (free). I bring it up only because most travelers not getting free passes might want some options too. Thanks for coming to OKC!
For the next OKC trip, visit the Oklahoma City National Memorial, Myriad Botanical Gardens (think Chicago Millennium Park), Scissortail Park (think Grant Park Chicago) while downtown and visit the First Americans Museum nearby. Then visit the Plaza District, Paseo Arts District (she’ll love it), and Uptown 23rd + Asian District - roughly 2 miles NW from downtown. That will give the true OKC experience. With more time, visit Capital Hill south of downtown, the burgeoning Eastside 23rd, Lake Hefner, and the OKC Zoo and museums that make up the Adventure District near the museum you already visited. Lots to do in OKC for sure and it only gets better.

I just stumbled across you guys today and I love your videos! I live 30min south of Wichita, KS in Wellington and so that's the first video I watched. I absolutely love Cowtown and I used to actually dress up as a prairie girl when I was younger and "work" with my Girl Scout troop during the Christmas season...which is the most magical time to be there! They have horse drawn wagon rides through the snow and caroling and Santa even makes an 1800s appearance. It's very cool! I have been to OKC many times but never knew about the Wheeler District! I will have to take my hubby and check it out!

Great video. Thanks for sharing. I was visiting from Australia 7 years ago and visited the National Cowboy Museum and it was fantastic. One of the best museums I have been in. I see there are a few new exhibits outside and can't wait to come back and visit again in 2025.
I've lived here for 30yrs from California. OKC has come a long way but still has a long way to go. I stay for the nice people cheap housing and politically speaking Oklahoma is a freedom state.

It's an amuesment park owned by Six Flags. Again I could name all other things to do here in OK but since there's so much it'll be a long list!😂 I feel bad you all didn't get to experience going on the ferries wheel but hopefully next time you will. If it's not too late I would love to have those tickets. My boyfriend and I are wanting to go out on a date and I would love to get those tickets for the both of us! if not that is total fine i'll still get tickets for us to end our night on the ferries wheel! The Cowboy Hall of Fame is one of my favorite museums glad you enjoyed it! Oklahoma is my home state and you made it look so fun! I have not tried the tubing I will definitely have to try it this summer! I have had the lamb fries before because my dad told me they were chicken nuggets and I liked them but when I found out what they really were I was disgusted but they actually taste really good just have to get over what they are. I would love the tickets to the Faris wheel to take my sister.
Honestly, it was one of our most memorable museums. The art they had was some of our absolute favs! Oklahoma is a great state! We can't wait to come back & explore more! bahahaha I mean they did look like chicken nuggets... I'm glad I'm not alone in liking them. Glad you two enjoyed your trip here. There are many more amazing places to visit. You may have seen one, the Land Run statues while on your canal trip. Your restaurant selections were both some of my favorites. Another free exhibit is the Route 66 Park. Also the colors and sun reflections from the Devon Tower are absolutely amazing. And there's a town called eufaula and there they have a huge water park on top of the lake it's called Yogi Bear and they have paddle boarding and canoeing and if you don't want in the lake they have mini golf and there is also a pool there and when you're paying just $20 to get in there is also a bar and a gift shop mixed with a make your own pizza or snow cone and other edibles to make your own but if you don't want anything from there to eat across from the water park there is a place called Katt Daddy's Coy it's a sea food restaurant and in my opinion their the ones who make the best calf fries also if you don't like sea food it's mixed with a BBQ and burger joint we call burger places burger joints lol so yea anything you desire they've got it and ofc the rolls are to die for and you can choose to dine inside or outside and I recommend outside because it's a pretty view watching the sunset and plus there are piranha fish there that you can feed so tell them if you could sit outside and I'm sorry of how long I've made this message but you guys have to go I'm sure you'll love especially the fish have a good day or night just depends when you see this message bye very much love from Oklahoma!!!

Cattlemens lamb fries are the best you can get in the state. A squeeze of lemon and coctail sauce is the owrfect combo. Cattlemens is a place every visitor to okc should eat at.

Hey look, it's OKC! One day could be Riversport ($49 each), Cowboy ($12.50 each), Bricktown canal ($13 each!), Wheeler's ferris wheel ($6 each) -- or $80+ each not including meals. Kinda pricey for some of us. You can also see cow auction at stockyards (free), amazing Oklahoma Contemporary (free), OKC downtown tunnels (free), Plaza Walls mural district in Wayne Coyne's neighborhood (free), pose with Route 66 Milk Bottle in Vietnamese neighborhood (free). I bring it up only because most travelers not getting free passes might want some options too. Thanks for coming to OKC!

For the next OKC trip, visit the Oklahoma City National Memorial, Myriad Botanical Gardens (think Chicago Millennium Park), Scissortail Park (think Grant Park Chicago) while downtown and visit the First Americans Museum nearby. Then visit the Plaza District, Paseo Arts District (she’ll love it), and Uptown 23rd + Asian District - roughly 2 miles NW from downtown. That will give the true OKC experience. With more time, visit Capital Hill south of downtown, the burgeoning Eastside 23rd, Lake Hefner, and the OKC Zoo and museums that make up the Adventure District near the museum you already visited. Lots to do in OKC for sure and it only gets better.
