- Speaking in Tunbridge Wells, Rishi Sunak admitted that he took money as chancellor from deprived urban areas in order to distribute it to wealthy rural communities in other parts of the country.

This is unreal. He is not even admitting, he is *bragging* about stealing money from poorer areas to decorate the richer ones. My heart goes out to all Britons living under a PM that views the working class like this.

And this is the very reason, why people are seriously suffering with their mental health aswell as financially. No one is doing nothing about it. So its just going to keep getting worse until everyone takes a stand. Every single politican is all in it for themselves. As long as they have millions in the bank. @@pskk7371 20 years ago, Labour were not favouring the urban poor at the expense of the rural poor. Taxes and benefits were standardised across the whole of the UK, along with a guaranteed, fairer minimum wage across all working sectors. So Sunak's whole premise is purposely misleading in the first instance. Another Tory lie.
This is the politics of divide and rule: middle-class against working class; black against white; urban against rural; and everybody against an underclass of multi-generational benefit claimants which the Tories themselves created - because high inflation, recession and mass unemployment are the price this country always pays when the Conservatives are in charge. It's part of the plan - it's baked in with the greed and the heartlessness. Just as three million unemployed and three million futures ruined were essential to Thatcher's great Neoliberal plan.

Could we perhaps get the full video. Because this is utterly lacking of context, like what exactly did he say before and after thes 20 odd seconds. It's very easy to point out what's said in the video is atrocious but I bet if there was a couple minutes of video either side of Thurs 20 seconds, then what's said here might sound totally different. Just saying, context is necessary before making a judgment on what was said.
