- Welcome to the Neighbourhood!

I still LOVE Palia...
Thanks for the Support!
[Edit: Omg, did not expect the views or the comments, so thank you so much and this means
a lot and I hope I didn't upset anyone with my opinion!]
They now have flow groces where there will be 6 or 7 flow trees together. I've run across groups that spread out and call out the flow grove trees. It is nice and they wait for people to come. They will tell the chat room what time they are chopping to give everyone a chance to get there.
Yeah, I saw this change yesterday when I recorded a new episode and am so happy to see it! It feels like they knew flow trees could be better and did their best to fix that... I am really happy with the change :)
I dunno, I really want more social stuff like trading and guilds ❤😂
So do I and I think that adding more content that isn't group based is why I am questioning
whether this game is more solo than social...
They need to make flow trees soloable, and make them nand pallium nodes all like gathering things, where you can get it, and everyone else has an allotted time frame to also get it themselves.
there is never anyone around when I'm trying to get flow trees and it sucks that im just walled off from progressing
I love the idea for the Pallium nodes, that it works like gatherables, GREAT IDEA!
I know it has been 6 months... But they used this idea in game, 5 mins for everyone to collect it...
Good ideas sometimes get noticed!
I'm fairly new to the game, and have seen a few bad apples every once in a while. Overall, I think the game is going through some growing pains when it comes to player interaction since there isn't any real incentive or benefit to being in community(guild). I play solo most of the time, but I do say hello when I see people in passing. For me, I like play solo mostly since I am still learning the game, and wanting to get a better grasp of it before I can help others. That being said, I think a lot of players aren't used to playing games that are this chill. I think Palia is the most chill MMO I've ever played, so it's definitely something I've had to adjust to. The fact that I can just afk right where I am with no consequences is also a nice perk I'm still getting used to. I'm excited to see what comes next.
I am excited to see what comes, I hope that the bad apples don't poison the bunch, I agree that usually cozy craft and MMO aren't in the same conversation :D
Nice video, btw. Take care!@@FriendlyNewbCraft
I have noticed some people have been very antisocial. I like that this game gives you the option to play alone or with people, but the guild, group setting are pretty barebones… Palia needs more group settings.
You might be right, I seem to think it's the players leaning towards a solo preferred game, but
maybe it is because they have more solo content to choose from...
Tbh, those "social" players stop playing Palia after the Birthday Cake nerf. Yeah, that's it.
@@zrimgrim4621 IKR! I miss them so much... my cake party discord is dead and I rarely talk to the group anymore :(
@@zrimgrim4621 yeah man, I only got into cake parties a week before the change, was nice and lots of conversation… for a week 😂
I think this game is perfect for streaming 😍
I can be depending on what you do, building beautiful homes :D
I always thought about playing Palia when hearing of the game a while back. But from what you've explained in the video about the community having party poopers. And people are no longer coming in to do certain content. Sounds to be that the die hearted fans within community is at fault. Where casual gamers would do all that they can in the game and experience it all. Too then suddenly leave to focus either on other games of the casual level or had simply became busy with life. When there is nothing more to do or a feature is not handed out on a silver platter for the casual gamers. Who makes up a large portion of most games out there. Puts a huge void of new players and veterans clashing with one another. With a vicious cycle of causal and veteran players pushing back against one another of what their perfect game should be.
The simple solution to this in communities that suffers a lull of the player base going up against themselves of what's best or to be engaging where content is lacking or barley understood. Is sadly appealing to the casual gamer and giving in ways for them to be drawn into the game itself. With the company or players needing to stick out there the avenues of what lies underneath that would help them. Rather than them trying to find it themselves. Because through appealing to the casual gamer, does it then have them split into groups that either stay as a new player/be casual. Or be veterans.
I think I get what you are saying, but for me I was in shock that this kind of thing has arisen after only 3 months... i have been playing the game since the beginning and I want everyone to have fun and enjoy the game, but then again I like being that Veteran that over-helps which may take away from the fun of finding it yourself...
I just want this game to do well as it is a good game so far.
Ive recently returned and i agree on the visuals. They've definitely improved them
I thought I was going insane... I was like maybe I am just not noticing.
Palia to me is a solo game with a few ( and i mean very few ) social features. They need more than chatting, cooking, and occasionLly chopping diwn a tree, to make this feel like a cozy mmo. Even something as simple as shared party loot would improve the social aspect. The favt that the each person in party has to hit an creature in order to get loot off it kills any reason to firm hunting parties. Thetes really no point to forming parties or guilds at all. No benifuts. No trading, nothing most social games have other than talking. I think if they truly want longevity as an mmo and hold more players, they need to start listening or working on everything people are asking to be added or foxed in rehards to multiplayer. Other than that, i really do enjoy playing, but feel its more of a single player game right now. Oh.... and they need to increase some of these limit with farms snd money. Thats my nor so little rant😊
I wish there were guilds and guild halls, but at the moment I feel very isolated from the other players. I’m making more of an effort lately :)
Thanks for ranting :)
I just started playing and have encountered the "party" mentality a lot. I haven't made many friends yet and have had lots of "f'yous". I almost stopped playing. I don't mind solo playing, but flow trees rarely spawn small enough for a fine axe to cut. How am I to advance? I want to interact with people but they are so cliqueish.
I have to be honest... It hasn't gotten much better with group play, they as of yesterday added some more grouping tools, but you will still run into some rude people.
I have found people to be a mixed bag, the best thing to do if you want help with a tree is type in global chat 'Flow Tree C6' and then wait, usually you will get at least one person coming over.
Make sure you have upgraded your axe to the top tier before any other tool, as you can cut the small and tiny Flow trees alone [it will take a bit of time]
Wish I could help more.
Bark!
woof!
Actually I’ve done that before. Ppl have asked if anyone is interested in a flow tree and I’ll mention that I am but I’m on the other side of the map and every single time they’ll tell me come on then. We can wait and they even include a smiley. No one has ever been mean to me or irritated at me because I was on the other side of the map. Every player I’ve ever come across has always been very patient and very kind and friendly with me.
You are lucky, I have experienced both sides of the coin and have been both sides, sometimes I will wait for 2 minutes and sometimes as long as they take... Usually if it is a Dari Clove I will wait for as long as needed because they are super rare.
I am glad that you have found the kinder side of the community :)
@@FriendlyNewbCraft Why Ty 😊 I love the Palia community 🥰
@@NickybobGames I have met one or two people who are my friends now and we play other games together, Cozy Craft Communities often have the nicest people :D
@@FriendlyNewbCraft That’s so awesome!
Chappa mounds are in killima only not bahari . Hope this helps .
THANK YOU!
I found one yesterday in Killima, at the time of recording this players were saying in chat they were only in Bahari!
i got trolled :D
If I wanted big guilds or groups, I would have continued playing WoW. I like being able to casually solo play Palia.
I still want guilds, but yeah many raids and bosses would be taking the game in a serious direction...
