I'm not really into multi-player and hate that a lot of games only cater to that. Hopefully I'd still be able to enjoy it solo...but I'm not counting on it.
@lazyannie it's a shame you've never tried it tbh. Hello Games is the definition of redemption arc in the gaming world, they're now probably one of the most trusted company of all times out there because with time, they released everything they promised for and way, way beyond for FREE and keep updating their project more often than any other game dev team does.
@@FireNooodles You're right, but i've played no man's sky solo more than with friends... this is weird but the vastness of space in that game makes me feel "lonely" and comfortable. Like the really cozy quiet of discovery and traveling from planet to planet. Hope you give it a try once at least.
The positive is that the team worked their butts off to get NMS up to par to the hype that was created even though it failed at launch. so even if this game flops too, we can expect them to fix it and add what they have promised later on. Hopefully they won't risk it again, and I expect they have learnt from their mistakes. But NMS is pretty good now, so I expect a good game from them.

After playing the Moonlight Peaks demo, it blows my mind that it's set for a 2026 release. It felt quite polished and was a bit addictive, plus it's something new in the farming sim genre as you play as a vampire. Witchbrook has been on my radar since it was announced; I didn't realize it was that long ago! I hope we hear more news about it soon. As a long time Simmer, it's nice to see others trying to break into the Sims space. Paralives has been on my radar for ages too, and I can't wait for it to be out. I know we'll be getting Life By You in a few weeks (if it's not delayed yet again), but that game looks questionable. The character models in that game need A LOT of work. This is my first time hearing of Farm Folks. It looks like it has a lot of potential, but will it be another Palia? I tried Palia on my switch and it felt kinda empty for me. No one really tried to interact much. I saw DokeV when it was shown at a game fest, and am not really interested in it. Loftia looks quite cute, though I'd say the same for it as what I said for Farm Folks. Will this be another Palia? I'd LOVE an MMO life sim game. So more than 25 players. I'd love something where you can establish a community online with others. More like a better Sims Online than Palia. Inzoi reminds me of the MMORPG Black Desert, at least graphically, (the detail/realism, the customization in the character models). I played it shortly after the NA launch, and there was SO MUCH pop-in. Maybe they've fixed it by now? I do remember having a house in one of the cities with a balcony, and being able to not only see players actually passing by in the street, but also being able to jump down from the balcony (it was on the 2nd floor) and be on the street seamlessly. If Inzoi has that sort of seamless interaction with the city, then consider me interested. Anything except the endless loading screens and rabbit holes of the Sims 4. Witchbrook is the one with the most potential. The graphics of the objects remind me a lot of pixel games from the 2000s. The rest are very unrealistic for the time. Hopefully in 15 years something at this level will be possible. For now we will only have the innovation of simple indie games and the big game companies trying to milk the last drop from the cow by making remakes and remasters.

I'm a bit nervous if the quality is going to hold up but if it is then this title is going to be a lot, at least for the cozy standards.

Hi guys, I am searching for a specific game and I cannot for the life of me remember the name! I think you might be able to help me. 😊 I saw it on a German gaming news channel some months or years ago, cannot find that video or game though. 😬 It's about a young person going to live with a female relative (grandma or aunt). It looks and feels like Stardew Valley, they compared the two. The youngster explores the woods and finds a big tree [by a lake?] and some blue whirls/signs or portals. When it gets dark, the youngster witnesses a witch circle meeting of people in full-on cloaks and hoods. It is revealed that the head of that mysterious circle is the female relative and that the youngster has powers, too. I think you can grow potatoes, too, you need to help out with the house and garden at first, rip out weeds and water the potato plants. If you have any clue, please let me know, Google didn't help me at all! 😅 Thank you if you read this. ❤
Ok who else heard the animal crossing 5am. Background music playing at the end of this video.. talk about nostalgia from when everyone was stuck home and playing the amazing animal crossing. Every time I hear the animal crossing 5am music it just does something inside. So many memories
inZOI is giving uncanny valley to me Unfortunately the art style for quite a few of these just aren't doing anything for me, but hopefully the stories in them will be engaging. I hope a lot of these games aren''t too much for the developers, and some of the features sound like they could be post-release updates.
most excited for inzoi if my pc can handle it..but I'll probably get a chance to upgrade it this year so :3 (and i also wish that James who plays Sims would try inzoi~) i also liked puffpals when i first heard of it..idk right now..
This was a lovely line up, although it hurts that Dokev, Loftia, and Puffpals Island Sky aren’t on steam they look amazing already, looking forward to them the most
I really love these series! Sunny Side Up and Cherry on Top are great and informative ways to get the latest news on cosy games. Additionally, listening to the sweet and calming voice of the beautiful Sarah Sunstone
Several of these look good but I'm most excited about Light no Fire because I trust Hello Games (at this point) to be able to pull it off. I'm not really into the Sims clones but I do prefer my character to not look 8yrs old, like they do in many of these games. I wish more cozy games let you look like you were actually old enough to own a house and have a job.
Looking forward to so many!! I just wanted to add that I did find the music really loud though, like it was almost covering your voice this time, maybe I am the only one lol
It’s a real shame that Loftia has no plans for an offline experience. There is absolutely no reason it needs to be an MMO and the fact that it’s geared for younger players means that a lot of core MMO social features will have to be stripped back or eliminated for safety reasons. Edit: And they’ve got cosmetic microtransactions, which in practice means to look unique you’ll have to shell out cash.
I'm feeling more and more the animal crossing effect in these games, some of which go way beyond animal crossing. A lot of gamers have felt that the game has become a bit dehumanised. In fact, games like Faefarm, Disney Dreamlight Valley, etc. whose graphics are far from the most modern, bring a gentleness that animal crossing no longer has. Nintendo is going to have to rethink the game's mechanics, dialogue, graphics, theme, soundtracks and so on, because Animal Crossing is largely wearing itself out.
My hypothetical grandkids are gonna love these when they finally come out
OMG 🤣
RIGHT?
Same! for my future grandkids 😂

I'm a bit nervous if the quality is going to hold up but if it is then this title is going to be a lot, at least for the cozy standards.
I will try Under a Rock, because I like to play solo!
So excited for Paralives
these games look so cute! 💚 can’t wait to play then when they come out!!! Loftia, puff palms, and witchbrook look so good 😻
When I first found about witch brook I was in middle school, I graduated high school, went to college, AND currently serving in the military and it’s still not out 😭
I supported Loftia on Kickstarter and I'm so ready for it! All the other ones too 😊
I’m looking forward to Coral Island on switch as well with dokev And Farm folks whatever consoles, they may release on the PlayStation or Nintendo‘s next console
Moonlight Peaks, Loftia and Puffpalls in one video?! heck yess!
I just wanted to thank you for your positivity with these games; I'm more than happy to wait as long as needed for these games to be ready. The longer the wait, the more likely they'll be amazing games!
I’m SO excited for loftia and puff pals island skies 😍
Hi guys, I am searching for a specific game and I cannot for the life of me remember the name! I think you might be able to help me. 😊
I saw it on a German gaming news channel some months or years ago, cannot find that video or game though. 😬
It's about a young person going to live with a female relative (grandma or aunt).
Thank you if you read this. ❤
maybe little witch in the woods? TnT i'll try searching more if it's not that!
@@manaevaber3256 I'll try and watch a Let's play of that, thanks!
I just found loftia and I'm in love. Cant waittttt
Puffpals is cute and omg under a rock
🥰
Ok who else heard the animal crossing 5am. Background music playing at the end of this video.. talk about nostalgia from when everyone was stuck home and playing the amazing animal crossing. Every time I hear the animal crossing 5am music it just does something inside. So many memories
Looking forward to Loftia and Puffpals I love that kind of gamestyle
I love this video! I need more cozy life-sims and you have peaked my interest in all of these!
DokeV and PuffPals are my most anticipated ones here, i really cant wait for them
Anything released by Chucklefish will be ignored! Game dev should really choose a better game publisher. They are no different then EA just smaller.
inZOI is giving uncanny valley to me
Unfortunately the art style for quite a few of these just aren't doing anything for me, but hopefully the stories in them will be engaging.
Witchbrook looks amazing! Everything Chucklefish does is fantastic.
This was a lovely line up, although it hurts that Dokev, Loftia, and Puffpals Island Sky aren’t on steam they look amazing already, looking forward to them the most
Anyone else getting a bit of anxiety with the developer of No Man's Sky promising something on a scale we've never seen before?
Witchbrook is just whimsical.
Wow! Loving all your new shows. You content never disappoints.
Moonlight Peaks is really giving Ketchup Vampires and I am SO here for it
I really love these series! Sunny Side Up and Cherry on Top are great and informative ways to get the latest news on cosy games. Additionally, listening to the sweet and calming voice of the beautiful Sarah Sunstone
Loftia, Puffpals and DokeV are EXACTLY the type of game I go absolutely feral for, hoping they really do happen and are as good as they promise
Paralives and InZoi are sure gonna have a bunch of mods and cc.
i am so excited for Paralives!
im korean game lover. I amazingly surprised that you found a lot my style game. Thank u for your sharing based on your good choices.
If some of these games come out on Switch, I will definitely buy them!
Looking at inzoi how can we be sure not being a simulation ourselves 😂 it’s so real
Loftia sounds and looks amazing. Subscribed to their mail list, to hopefully learn when they open beta testing
Im so excited for dokev, but sometimes seems like vaporwave
Several of these look good but I'm most excited about Light no Fire because I trust Hello Games (at this point) to be able to pull it off. I'm not really into the Sims clones but I do prefer my character to not look 8yrs old, like they do in many of these games. I wish more cozy games let you look like you were actually old enough to own a house and have a job.
Great list of very ambitious games! I'm really enjoying your new line up! Cherry on the Top really takes the cake
Looking forward to so many!! I just wanted to add that I did find the music really loud though, like it was almost covering your voice this time, maybe I am the only one lol
that’s sooo weird bcz I can barely hear any music when I watch 😅🥲
It’s a real shame that Loftia has no plans for an offline experience. There is absolutely no reason it needs to be an MMO and the fact that it’s geared for younger players means that a lot of core MMO social features will have to be stripped back or eliminated for safety reasons.
Edit: And they’ve got cosmetic microtransactions, which in practice means to look unique you’ll have to shell out cash.
I'm pretty excited about everything on this list.. I've had a chance to play the alpha of Puffpals Island Skies and it is ADORABLE!
Farm Folks are really smart having the crabs do crab rave
Waiting for Loftia! I found Dreamlight valley, Fae Farm and Hokko Life so very delusional so I really hope in this new one
Very good list of upcoming games! I also recommend Trade Tales. I love that game
Moonlight Peaks comes out in 2026??? 😭😭 My spooky self cannot contain my impatience.
im soo excited for loftia and witchbrook
