To everyone who's reading this, I pray that whatever is hurting or whatever you are constantly stressing about gets better. May the darks thought, the over thinking, the doubt exist your mind right now. May clarity replace confusion. May peace and calmness fill your life
1) Restrict Calories to 1000 a/day 2) Exercise 3) Intermittent Fasting 16:8 4) Protein shake or Protein Bar and 1 small meal a/day 5)Get A Scale; weight every day 6) Get 8hours of sleep 7) Eat unprocessed foods 8) lean protein
If you're eating fruits, vegetables, lean protein, you can actually get alot of good nutrients for a 1000 calories. You may not need a supplement. But that's up to you on how you're getting your 1000 calories. And yes, once you reach your goal, then just add on maybe 500 to 750 calories. It's amazing how much food we can actually eat, when it's unprocessed.
I love how your straight to the point and there's no BS in between pretty simple eat unprocessed foods add some exercise in between. I am trying to stick to just 3 meals a day. With a 5KM walk. 2 boiled eggs for breakfast with a banana. for lunch I am having a premade weight loss replacement meal. and for dinner just a steak with some vegetables
Was just looking at old pics of myself where a few years ago I looked so much better. I know why I've gained weight - I move very little and eat way too much of the wrong things. I also remember the last time I lost 20kg - its wasn't fast but from my own experience after like 3 months of eating healthy (6 small meals with strict calorie counting and a food journal) and exercising (started off very slow because I was so unfit but later worked for 3 hours a day in 2 sessions - around 1 hour cardio and 30 minutes of weights) something happens in your entire biology where it doesn't even matter if you fall of the wagon or maybe not work out as intensely but your metabolism is on fire and it becomes your new normal to burn fat rather than just store it. Getting super fit has wonderful benefits - I remember when I stopped working out, those 20kg didn't start to creep back until 2 years later. I looked so much younger and I was so strong. It's time to do it again. Thanks for the advice. The truth is I need a drastic start to my weight-loss as I'm now in my early 40's so I'm going to take your advice.
thank you for your advice because this is very helpful.. actually I'm just a 13yrs old teen but I get too many insults from my own friends and family.. I always thought I wanted to lose weight quickly and immediately but every time I tried, I would give up quickly because I wasn't strong. I'm tired of hearing people's insults on me so one day, I run a diet that I'm strict on and I don't eat for a few days and do exercise for a very long time but it doesn't work either. What am I supposed to do in this situation 😔
Hi there, we're so sorry to hear your friends and family are saying mean things to you, you absolutely don't deserve that. We suggest speaking to your family doctor as they will be best suited to help you find a nutrition and exercise plan that works for you. We're sending you our love and we wish you all the best.
just remember your still growing. also remember that you need 3 meals a day try and stick to unprocessed foods. you also need to walk instead of heavy exercise.
Loved your advice - making me feel like its okay to be extreme at least for a minute - Long enough to feel get ultra motivated by substantial results! I understand that long term, less than 1k calories per day isnt good, right? And that while I do that vitamins and mineral supplements should be added, right?! Excited! I'm about to make shit happen! Thank you!!!!

That's really good advice. Another thing I found helps is eating konjac noodles, palm hearts, etc. as these are very low in calories and have alot of fiber. Carrots are also very good, as they are also low in calories.
I recently lost about 45 pounds without special foods or expensive drugs. The keys were diet, discipline, and moderate exercise. I ate all the same foods I had been eating, but in slightly smaller amounts. I stopped drinking 2 or 3 cans of soft drinks per day, walking at least 2 miles a day, and exercise with light weights. Over 4 months I went from 176 pounds to 131. I went from a 38 inch waist to 32. I'm 75yrs old and 5' 3". The only major expense was buying all new clothes.
Thank you, I'm merely a pre teen but I'm very insecure about my weight and as much as I try i can never really seem to lose weight or grow, i just gain weight and grow a tiny bit because of a deficiency i have
You have nothing to be insecure about! If you're concerned about your health, your family doctor will be the best person to help you. We're sending you all our love.
Somethings up, I walk 7 hours during the day for one job, then work in a high pace, labor intensive warehouse for 5 hours straight after that, I drink plenty of water, my first meal is a protein shake with 2g of sugar in it, then my one meal is broccoli with boneless skinless chicken, that’s been my routine for 4 months, very hard to maintain, well I haven’t lost a single pound and my lost no inches on my waist or chest.
I was advised to only weigh yourself once a week because your body weight is constantly changing through out the day because of the way the body works. But it’s tempting to do say if you got a scale near you!
thank you so much for this video! im doing agoge diet as of the moment which is by far the best diet for me, i know it will not be a short trip but i know it will be worth it :)
I lose weight from 75kg to 61kg because I have PCOS and so I really need to but I started having acid reflux because I eat at 10am then 4pm and not eating by dinner, so I'm trying to find how to eat properly without having any health probs, any suggestion based on your experience? Thanks
Hi Carla, we recommend consulting your primary care physician for help with this. You can also learn more in this article: www.scripps.org/news_items/4134-how-to-read-nutrition-labels-and-eat-healthy We wish you the best!
Am only 13 but I’m very overweight and I want to drop a lot a of weight I worked out a lot and very intense workout’s for football but my diet doesn’t help it is very unhealthy so I’m asking you what pacific things should I eat for breakfast lunch dinner and maybe a snack during the day
Hi! If this is something that concerns you, we recommend speaking to your family doctor and they will be able to help you. In the meantime, we have some yummy, healthy breakfast ideas if you want to give any of them a try! www.scripps.org/news_items/4954-eat-this-not-that-for-breakfast
I always try but I just can't lose my weight, I can't get myself to do a diet or exercise, because I'll do it for one week, then stop until I get motivated to do it some time later 😢
I have the type of metabolism that if I allow myself to get fat, I’ll get fat and if I allow myself to get skinny, I probably won’t get skinny unless I truly push myself. Therefore, what’s worked for me has been supplements such as a good multivitamin, nothing fancy. Weight training, eating more fiber and protein and avoiding carbs, and also, not neglecting cardio. I do at least one day a week of running or HIIT. But mostly eating a protein and fiber rich diet has made all the difference. Flax seed is great, beans are awesome.
i have been trying to eat 1,300 calories a day but i find myself starving at certain points of the day. how is it possible to eat less than 1,000 calories? is there a food that makes you fuller longer?
if you have a lot of fat on your body and you lose weight super fast, you WILL have loose skin. for individuals like this it's not good to lose weight that fast esp if u wanna avoid saggy skin tbh
A lot of truth in what he said, but yes, it still comes down to you. If you don't take in more calories than your TDEE, you won't be able to gain permanent weight. Math can't be refuted.
To everyone who's reading this, I pray that whatever is hurting or whatever you are constantly stressing about gets better. May the darks thought, the over thinking, the doubt exist your mind right now. May clarity replace confusion. May peace and calmness fill your life
