    Hello I have a quick question, currently prepping for a psych interview, I have a mental health disorder.. do you think it would be detrimental or helpful to include that in my interview if necessary?

      @A_Psych_Nurse  6 месяцев назад +1

      well your business is your business :). I probably would air on the side of caution and NOT mention it, at the same time, if it's something you've really struggled with and you feel like you've gained a lot of insight from it that can help others, then perhaps you can include it. I tend to think it can be a plus, but there's also a lot of stigma still attached to it, even with those making the hiring decision unfortunately.
      Good luck with your interview!

    Behavioral health always sounded so condescending., Pyschiatry sounds better as it says soul healing, but Unknown neurological disorders (you could 10 years in med school and 10 more in practice and 10 more in research to learn we know absolutely nothing about psychiatric patients is far more fitting and accurate.)
