I have a 22 1.4 KIA Stonic (small SUV) 6 speed auto in the Philippines. 10 per 100km, but thats stop/go and mountain driving. Do you have any info on how that engine and trans are holding up over time ? I read that engine is only good for about 100 km. Any there with higher mileage that you know of ?
It is a nice car indeed but eish! The price is high as well, I really don't think a lot of people would choose it over a polo lifer dsg honestly, myself inclined. Polo wins on design, power and performance and consumption. Also, after years of ownership, a polo would be a worth than a kia in the used car market.
That's True, It wins over the Polo Vivo. It is a good car, the pricing is a problem. Polo holds good value than the Kia Rio, only makes sense for someone who wants to keep it.

The Rio uses a 6 speed automatic not a cvt, they went from 4 speed auto to 6 speed.
1.4 uses 6 speed automatic. 1.6 sold in other countries including the US has a CVT

The Rio doesn't use a CVT, it uses a 6 speed torque converter automatic
