I got the 2023 model last month, at 369k with most of the optional extras, yes sunroof included. Transmission is very smooth.

Don’t forget to mention the problems on the TSI; losing power, engine light and EPC light coming on. Worst part is that VW always making excuses on why they can’t fix it, blaming quality of the fuel.
Mine had an epc light popping and they fixed it
@@thabisomtsweni7287 , lucky you. They refused to change the spark plugs, even though I had a maintenance plan on the car. They said I must pay for them, obviously charging dealer prices, and if i took to a 3rd party place, then I run the risk of losing my warranty… it was a Tiguan TSi with only 50 000km. I sold it back to them.

i ve had a lot of new cars in my time and i will say this by far the best car i have owned a 2023 polo gti yes i have had a golf from new too.
you right man demo cars are good bargain, a tiguan goes for 1.3mil, but you can get a demo with less than 10k for around 950

This is the exact car I drive, down to the color and options!... Love the fuel effeciency! On a good day I can get it down to 3.9l/100KM. Oh and I also use Naked Insurance for it!

As a family man, it's not practical for me. I'd go for a 2020 XLT Everest. Top it up with warranty/service plan and I'm good to go....
You’re spot on Francis , I was recently looking at the prices of the previous gen Rangers and Everests , they have really dropped in price since the launch of the next gen models , I found a couple of decent ones around this price point.
I will rather go for an entry level SUV for that price.

@@mrhowmuch I am a year with it now, last year I was told because of "stoff" I couldn't take it back because of this and that too. Eg: high balloon etc. But yeah man, I want to take it back . I need something good and economically
Well that gearbox messed me up financially, just a month after the warranty expired... The gearbox had to be replaced, followed by the water pump and flywheel all within 3 months. I had to get rid of the car quickly before disaster.

@@ronz91 VW's quotes were around R60 combined. Bosch did it for less than R20K using a second hand gearbox.
