- Matt Murray had some touching things to say about his partner in net, Marc-Andre Fleury, after the veteran passed him the Stanley Cup.
No matter what, you gotta give Fleury credit for everything he did for the pens

Yeah I hate to compare the Pens to the Patriots and Sid to Tom Brady, but there seem to be definite parallels. A lot of people hate us like NE and Sid like Brady, but Pats and Pens know how to get Ws.

All nhl players are really guys. No matter on the ice the players are always friends off ice. If you had chance meet nhl player. You be surprise how much they care about the fans and how respectful they are off ice. Those players are great mentors for children .

I just hope Pittsburgh fans can treat MAF with respect when he comes back wearing another team's uniform. They way they booed Jagr was disgraceful when he was TRADED by the team. MAF is basically being traded (he won't be protected during the expansion draft) and he is doing the team a huge favor by waving the no trade clause part of his contract. He has been nothing short of an outstanding teammate/player for this team as this video illustrated yet again...

Exactly, if it werent for Fleury's play, the Pens wouldnt have even gotten past Washington. And I am not just saying that, if you check the stats, you could see that the Caps were outplaying Pens, and if Fleury wasnt in the net for them, they would have been in trouble.
I think Fleury will get a massive standing ovation when he returns to Pittsburgh. When Jagr got traded, there were issues between he and coach Ivan Hlinka as well as the awkward dynamic where he was still captain even though Lemieux has come out of retirement. On top of that he was underperforming, if I recall correctly. It probably also didn't help that he got traded to Washington...

I fully agree. Flower is awesome and deserves tons of respect. I would not bet on it from that miserable fan base though. I wish more Pens fans were like you.

Jack Fredricks I agree it's stupid to boo jags but he wanted to be traded (I dont blame him)then when everyone thought he was coming back he used us to get a better deal from the flyers of all teams and for some people that's just unforgivable so while I still love jags I can also understand why people boo him as stupid as it may be

Matt Murray is an elite goalie but he needs to find his game with a good goalie coach.Fleury was good but his lack of height made it more difficult for him.I hope Murray finds his game because if he does then the opposing teams are going to have trouble scoring on him.

okay so I didn't see the last 5 minutes of the game but correct me if I'm wrong but it was two to zero so what would've one missed goal have done? they still would've lost right? If I'm wrong tell me but I don't understand why preds fans are whining about it

The second goal was scored because the Preds were trying to tie it up. However even if the preds scored who knows what would have happened after
