As a fellow Canadian and someone that played OHL...every NHL player knows the best guys alot of time don't make the NHL. I scored 40 goals rookie season. But started going to clubs and partying and doing coke. Was kicked of team. Hockey guys in Canada are notorious partiers and Playboy's...alot of our best athtletes never do what it takes ..all pros know there are lots of guys that didn't make it that would have been great. But you can't just have the skill. These guys make the NHL because they have the skill but they have the mental drive to train. Eat right. And avoid the party and women scene that junior hockey guys can fall into. It's a fact. If your a OHL player and 18 years old. Canadian girls are gonna love you..all I can say was I left home at 15 like most boys. Living in another city. Party's all the girls like ya. It pulls alot of great players away from hockey...but hey it's still the most fun..hockey is the best sport. And produces the best people on and off the ice.
