Hi there! 👋🏻 Your garden is looking great my friend! I wish I didn’t have two black thumbs, but I can certainly purchase local from a farm family in my church.
Cindy, I use to think I had a black thumb. But the only difference between a green thumb and a black thumb is education. If you can read, research, learn, transfer learned information to action AND you have a desire to make better food for you and your loved ones, you can do it! I did.
Anything from your own garden tastes so much better and is healthier. Last summer was the first time I planted things. Our basil, sage, and rosemary were growing so beautifully! Every now and then when I started cooking, hubby was like: Should I go to the garden and get herbs? He really loves it! As do I :)
Yes amazing! Also, I found that before I grew herbs I mostly left them out of my cooking. But now that I have them abundantly I use them a lot and wow my food is so much tastier!
I love growing my own herbs. I’m curious though now about my soil and the potting soil in my green stalk. I do water from the garden hose which is unfiltered city water. I do use a water right hose which is lead free. I’ve had my soil tested by the co op but they don’t test for heavy metals I don’t think.
Great info. Thank you! 🫶
Blessings 💜💜💜

Supporting a local grower is the next best thing!

Thank goodness I’m growing my own this year ( first time) just goes to show if we investigate what we eat we would grow more at home. 😊😊

I’m getting there with you girl! So even when you read the ingredients you’re still not sure. Thanks for all you do

I heard you can purchase a camper/RV filter and put it on your hose. I am going to do that as soon as I can afford purchasing one.
