Looks great but one thing concerns me. During the trailer video on the eshop it sounded like at the end the dragon is telling us that the hero girl is going to have to slay him??
This game looks SOOOOOOOOOOO cute!!! Thanks for doing a review of this. I enjoyed the Liar Prince despite some of the clunkiness in its platforming. The overall charm and well put together package carried the game and it looks like its similar with this one. Grab that physical copy now! Because if like the previous game, it will go up in price.
Been looking forward to this game since it was revealed. I loved the game they made before this in the same art style ( the liar princess and the blind prince). Though the combat seems simple in this game it sounds like there is more than in the liar princess. The main appeal of these games is the art/story/music honestly. Thanks for reviewing it
Really loved The Liar Princess, so I was looking forward to this when I first saw it on the eshop. Neat that they changed up the gameplay a bit, glad they kept the art style though for sure, I love this story book drawing style.
I am definitely going to pick this game up. I love the ascetic just like The Liar Princess and the Blind Prince, which I called my birthday game upon its release. Another game to backlog but enjoy...eventually.
Great review as always! I have been keeping an eye on this game, however I am so over random encounters !😞 which is a shame as otherwise I would pick this up. Love the art style though.
This is so cute. But I already just bought a game and I'm trying to not over spend much. The plush that come with the Special Edition is adorable though.
Thanks for the insight for review. Luckily Triangle Strategy is my shield against new purchases for a while. But I think even once that's done I'd pick up Bug Fables first and wait for a sale on this one. I do like the aesthetic and backstory, though.
I thought the developers were the same from “Okage: The shadow king” but nope! Still, it looks cool and obviously took a LOT of inspiration from Okage!!
I feel like this was originally supposed to be a sequel to blind prince cuz a lot of the creatures are the same and the art style is too realized this game is a lot more fleshed out then blind prince ever was and it wasn’t the same genre really so they changed it. Just a theory though.
Pretty cool game, I checked this one out from my local library for free to try it out...my only gripe is that this game could REALLY have used the option of English dubbing, it would've made it far more accessible to a younger audience.
Giving me a lot of Child of Light vibes and CoL was a masterpiece and a brilliant experience I had twice; first on the Vita and second on the Switch. Keeping my eyes peeled for this game.
yo Mark or glen there is a sale for dead by daylight because of the release of the new chapter or something I don’t know why there is a sale for every DLC except for the new chapter and bundles are on sale
I have been enjoying the game. I bought the one that came with the art book and plush. My only gripe is the stuttering that sometimes happens. It crashed on me once.
The Motto of this month is definitely let's get physical, physical. Not only are these sad times for digital buyers due to the 3ds and wiiu eshop closing. Also switch up started to put physical sales in their sales videos and now cute little indies are physically released with a plushie included for the price of a regular released by Nintendo title. How could I not buy this one to play with the little ones?
This game is so stupidly cute I can't not buy it. It will be a great change of pace while playing Elden Ring. I've already watched Watame from Hololive play this and can't wait to get time to look into the game.
Reminds me a little of Child of Light. Might be a good game for those wanting to be introduced to turn-based RPGs but its a little too youthful for my blood.
The original game in this art style was fun and definitely was in this art style. Too bad this one is rpg, not sure if it would be as nice as the last one.
This look really nice, but I think that random encounters should stay in the past or at least never be back again as the only way to engage in battles, have the option to have them.
Shhhh, speak for yourself. You buy the games you like. We buy games we like. Don't play the games you like and ask the games we like never be made again. How selfish do you have to be? Now shooo! Shooo! Get outta here

Charming artwork: check.
Eclectic characters: check.
Old school gameplay with a twist: check.
Would have loved this one as a kid.
But we old and enjoying a game is never gonna be the same: Unchecked 😖😞
But not now?
I've been waiting for this game! So excited to see you guys covering it!
I have been eagerly waiting for this game to release! Thank you for covering it 😍 the artstyle is adorable I am loving it

The best switch channel out! You don't know how many games I've added to my backlog😂
Same! I love this channel so much, they really do help out a lot and the effort they put in shows!

Love the art style of this
Good review. I'll keep this one on my wishlist. I'm consumed with Triangle Strategy right now.
This appears to be a lot of fun, so I'm going to try it.
I'm so glad to see such a cool physical edition of this game!
Liar Princess was a wonderful little game full of charm. Definitely getting this as soon as it's out.
This looks incredibly cute and mellow to experience.
Already pre-ordered the limited edition because I like the artwork of this game. Cannot wait to receive the copy. Thanks for the review.
Looks like a cute little game. I'll pick up physically sometime for the collection.
Really loved The Liar Princess, so I was looking forward to this when I first saw it on the eshop. Neat that they changed up the gameplay a bit, glad they kept the art style though for sure, I love this story book drawing style.
Bought the storybook edition based off this review. Plus it was well priced. Thanks for the help.

I normally wouldn't buy a special edition that just has physical extras like an art book, but I want that super cute Yuu plushie, lol.
Did you see the dragon plushy on the NIS America site? It’s sooo cute.
@@daniellebackus819 I wish all my favorite games had plushies. I'm probably gonna be hitting Etsy soon, lol.
Love the art!!

I dont even own a Nintendo Switch but you guys are by far my favourite reviewers
Much appreciated my friend! Glen
Really dig the art style in this game!
This looks so good! I definitely plan to grab this one later down the line
I thought the developers were the same from “Okage: The shadow king” but nope! Still, it looks cool and obviously took a LOT of inspiration from Okage!!
I know I preordered it, but it still feels like a good breather when playing Doom Eternal, which I just bought thanks to your eShop sale video~
This looks cute and charming, still on the fence on whether I'm going to buy it
I think yes but wait for a $10 or less sale.
This seems nice, I shall play it now.
The story is sooo good, I wish it had an anime, I felt for the dragon king
Oh, that physical version looks like a great gift for my older boy!
I will be looking for this one in a sale. Nice review
Wow, this is definitely in my backlog now
What's up Glen, Azdin, this was already added to my wishlist is looks nice
This looks so cute, definitely going for it.
awww. the game intro/description narrated by Glen sounds like him reading to his baby. adorable. I love you glen!
Yoda man!
Haha, cheers mate. Glen
The moment Paper Mario came out of your mouth I was sold on this
Same
This looks (and sounds) right up my alley! 🥰

Been looking forward to this one, really enjoyed the liar princess and the blind prince especially the visuals. Definitely picking this one up
The hero is just too cute to fight evil
81 is a really respectable score for a $30 JRPG.
Definitely looks like a must buy game for me. 😃

Totally agree. I loved Child of Light as well.
@@TheNightmare75II Will you be grabbing a copy?
@@defunct32 I don't know yet. Probably not because I have so much in my backlog. If that weren't the case, maybe I would.
@@TheNightmare75II Am considering it as well but holding off cause Triangle Strategy is requesting for my undivided attention.
Such a cute looking game this one. 😋
Thanks Glen for this review. I enjoyed their 1st game. This one is on my wishlist. Playing Triangle Strategy at the moment. My backlog is massive.
Triangle Strategy is amazing.
Loving every minute of it. I played both demos. Awesome game. Love HD/2D.

Your review made me buy the Storybook edition 💜
Great review!
The art style is something I am digging! Not a game I will get but again I like it’s look
Looks like another game I'm going to buy, play religiously for a few days, and then never pick up again. So many unfinished games, so little time.
When will you review Ocean Heart's?
Seems like it would be a nice leisurely rpg that would be a joy to play
Is there no standard physical edition? I don't need all that collector's edition stuff.
There doesn't appear to be. only one listed is the collector's edition.
It gives my that Child of Light vibe, albeit a bit of a lighter experience. Adding it to my backlog!
I enjoyed their previous game but honestly it was a title to buy on sale. I’ll apply the same rule here since I’ve got a long backlog.
I have been enjoying the game. I bought the one that came with the art book and plush. My only gripe is the stuttering that sometimes happens. It crashed on me once.
Chance of a review for advance wars reboot camp 1+2?
Ooohh!! Now you’re talking!
Legend of Mana + Paper Mario? I'm in.
I want a physical copy of this game!
Can u make review about Oceanhorn 2: Knight of the Lost Realm😎
(Edit: sorry you already review it. Great video anyway😎👍)
I preordered the storybook edition last week but I really dislike random battles. Ugh. Conflicted on whether to cancel it.
I have around 300 physical switch games because of your reviews.
Perfect game after watching Ranking of Kings anime.

I got two storybook editions.
Damn not sure if I should get this on switch or ps4 🤔🤔
It’s such a cute lil game, but I like some challenge, so maybe a sale one day.
Looks very promising.
This is a game I can already tell is gonna destroy me emotionally.
Reminds me a little of Child of Light. Might be a good game for those wanting to be introduced to turn-based RPGs but its a little too youthful for my blood.
I was thinking about Child of Light also. Gives a similar vibe.
I was thinking the same but it might be perfect for my lady. it can serve as an intro to the genre for her
The original game in this art style was fun and definitely was in this art style. Too bad this one is rpg, not sure if it would be as nice as the last one.
I loved The Liar Princess and the Blind Prince but I'll pass on this one. It looks to be mostly turn based action which ruins the gameplay for me. 😞
I don't think I would be able to watch this video, nonetheless, it looks like a lovely game.
😎🤙👍👍
