This is it. X Men '97 is the greatest thing Marvel has ever created. Imagine the possibilities of this universe with so many characters and stories from the comics to pull form.
When they did all x men characters to justice unlike the movies...jeez this season finale was fantastic!!

There’s so many things that happened but wrapped up in less than an hour. That post credit scene too! The writers do a good job of addressing things from prior episodes. The scene with The Summers… so beautifully done.
My favorite thing about this show is that they dont shy away from the vast past Xmen history, it’s like a love letter to the comics, where it all began.
What a masterpiece this season has been 🥹
I’m not even surprised that Tony Stark’s suit is still working. He is smart enough to consider all the possibilities.
It has independent power that would be protected against EMPs.
I mean he just shielded his circuitry from the EMP. The US govt has a lot of its military equipment shielded in real life

The complete first season is now just step one of bringing the X-Men into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Man XMen is so rich and amazing, I feel like integrating it with MCU tully would just dilute perfection.

What a phenomenal season of Marvel Television! This season, finale was absolutely incredible, and it really had it all! Great writing, jaw-dropping animation, masterful music, amazing voice acting performances, brilliant pacing, respect for the original source material/90s animated series, and lots of fun/really cool Cameos and Easter Eggs for the fans to enjoy! I'm so excited/hyped for Season 2 and will be counting down the days! This finale and the whole season get a 100/10 from me!

This episode was actually overwhelming and like I was actually worried for quite a few minutes whether if all the characters will make it through alive or not. The superhero cameos, the emotions, the fight sequences, the background score was a complete rollercoaster ride, it gives me so much hope and happiness for the future seasons of this show, cannot wait for season 2, 3, and 4. (I hope they revive Spiderman 1998 series, loved his and Mary Jane's cameo.) The opening sequence was really nice, I initially thought we were watching a flashback or memory of Magneto with Professor X in the past as young scientists post-WWII, but then the reveal happens that they are both in Magneto's mind, as Professor X is trying to repair his fractured psyche. I am surprised they did not do the Onslaught route, where Magneto's resentment, anger, bitterness overpowers Professor X's abilities and their minds are merged as the new, unstoppable entity known as Onslaught. Cable's psionic moment with his parents was very touching. Cyclops cutting loose against Bastion and Jean as the Phoenix incinerating Bastion was such a high moment. Young En Sabah Nur is eventually destined to become Apocalypse, kind of like young Nathaniel Richards is eventually destined to become Kang the Conqueror. Gambit is going to become Apocalypse's Horseman of Death. Mother Askani who raises young Nathan/Cable in distant future is actually a much elder version of Rachel Summers, the daughter of Scott and Jean. Bishop's back in the present and the he references his friendship with the much older version of Forge in the distant future, it reminded me of the friendship with the Protagonist and Neil in the movie Tenet. All in all, 10/10.

They’re gonna actually do the impossible and adapt *Age Of Apocalypse!* Hell they managed to adapt E For Extinction and make it arguably better.
And I know they were teasing Onslaught throughout the episode but I’m glad they didn’t because it would’ve taken away from the impact of that amazing finale.
Third time (the one Logan, Morph, Ororo went to) is probably AoA
That would be perfect. I would love seeing Dark Beast. Sugarman. Holocaust. Logan getting his adamantium back thanks to Apocalypse. Gambit return as a horseman. And especially Magneto's other iconic moment....bursting through Apocalypse's armor and tearing him to pieces.

Looks like we are going to get a benevolent version of Apocalypse in the form of En Saba Nur now with the X-Men scattered throughout time. Also the Hope Summers version from the comics who is stuck in a distant future with Apocalypse ruling serving as this sort of Prophet with Gates McFadden voicing her so perfect. She with Nathan's parent are going to protect him in the future like the comics. It looks like Scott and Jean are in the 37th Century.

What i love is that we didn't end on a magneto was right or professor x was right but that the only way to build a better future is for mutants to unit, not to destroy humanity but to show it a better way and also that mutants are still human & that not all of humanity is anti-mutant
What a season one finale!!! Beau DeMayo did this series justice. Can’t wait for S2, but sad he was let go; here’s hoping if there’s a S3 and beyond, the story telling will be as marvelous as DeMayo has crafted it. Question for anyone who reads this: I know some of the X-Men got thrown into the past and future, but did anyone see where Wolverine, Morph and Storm end up? Did I miss something?

Love how epic Magneto is just like he was in the 90's X-Men TAS. The next season will be focused around Apocalypse so that means the 3rd Season will probably be with Lilandra and The Shi'ar.
Think they'll do the Vulcan 🖖 civil war Shi ar Arc.

This is why I was so in love with the original cartoon all those years ago. And to see Charles not give up on Eric was a real nice touch with his character like this the professor x we remember even at it's darkest moments he didn't leave or give up on Eric and brought him back to the point of no return to time travel lol

It’s fun to see the Fatal Attraction storyline playing out - I read all the books in that event. Good times 🙂
The amount of cameos in this episode was just extreme! So awesome! So it looks like Onslaught wont be happening, such a shame but whatever they lead for season 2, like the role of young Apocalypse or the future, im all in for it! This show is incredible. I will give season 1 of X-Men 97 a solid 9/10
Great reaction. The operatic version of the theme song brought the scene to a new level. I really felt they were going to end the show on Forge seeing "No Signal". I'm looking forward to the next season.

@@joseruba1081 I like when Excalibur has some actual Europeans on the team, like Captain Britain, Meggan, and Nightcrawler. I suppose it's not a "must", but for a team based in the UK, it makes sense.
So I like that your team has a Russian (Colossus) and someone from the UK is a must, like if Psylocke works if she's Betsy Braddock. That'd mean Captain Britain could at least make an appearance.

Love your reactions. Never thought X-Men 97 would match the original series from 1992. Cyclops revealing his eyes reminded me of the scene in X-Men Last stand with Famke Janssen & James Marsden. Let us not forget, all the Marvel films from X-Men 2000, F4, Spiderman to the MCU series, all got their inspiration from the Fox kids: Spiderman, Ironman and X-Men animated series. I hope in upcoming MCU films, Rogue fully steals Capt Marvel's powers.

It's amazing, isn't it? They have the biggest toy box in the world to play with. And it makes perfect sense to mix, match, and change. There's a fascinating difference between watching storylines we're familiar with and ones we're not. Many happened when I took a break from collecting comics. Other stories I remember vividly, and it's interesting to see how they pick which elements to use in their amazing tasty stew. Mmm, Gambit call it gumbo.
I had to consciously let go when they did the Maddie/Inferno episode. That could have been an entire season. I thought, "No, nope… practice what you preach and enjoy the story they're telling as they want to tell it, because they have a broader arc in mind for the season." If I want to relive the Inferno arc in the comics, then I can go back to the comics.
I wonder if this show makes sense to a newbie. So far, every reaction channel I've watched has been with people who are at least mildly familiar with them. 😀
Overall: What a gift. What a beautiful, shared social geek experience they gave us that we didn't know we needed. @themoviecouple, I highly recommend watching the Assembled episode on the making of the show that just came out. It's a beautiful testament to the passion, talent, and care the creators and cast poured into this show.

Magnet is always saving the day but from shit he set in motion himself lol.. he is always lashing out and then back peddling when charles (or his own conscience) reminds him that his anger and resentments push him over the line.. astroid M would have been there to be used as a weapon if he never created it, he is always putting these crazy plans into action when he gets in his "NEVER AGAIN!" moods, then is talk into reversing his plans at the last minute which really shows how great the conflict is within himself..he is always waiting on the next "holocaust" event which drives him into inacting a similar type of genocide against his opressors until charles or someone who truly knows erik and knows he isnt a bad person and is driven by fear and anger is reeling him back in, reminding him that he is taking is call to action too far... magneto is the perfect example of a guy who is who knows exactly what he is capable of, he knows he can enslaved humans and take over the world if he really wanted to, and it PISSED him off that humans and the "powers that be" never seem to "GET IT!" and treat them with some FUCKING RESPECT!!.. he literally is fighting himself every minute of every day from just TRULY commiting and living by his "NEVER AGAIN!" Sentiments, but in doing so he would have to turn into the very thing he hates and fears, which is genocidal tyrant!! He has literally been a strand of hair from becoming that thing!! The only reason he cannot ever commitis because is isnt a bad person at his core, he isnt apacaplypse or gyrich and it probably pisses him off that humankind never seems to acknowledge that he can easily become that but chooses against it when humans truly dont deserve that restraint most of the time!he wonders why humans cannot realize his restrainy and act accordingly so he never has to succumb to his resentments,angers and fears because one of these days HE WILL be pushed too far and there wont always be a charles xavior to rein him back in!!
We're gonna go into The Age of Apocalypse then Onslaught. This show is epic. Plus Spider-Man 98.

That was finale AMAZING! It looks like they're pulling from Adventures of Cyclops and Phoenix and maybe Askani Son storylines for next season. I think Morph and Wolverine are still in the present with Jubilee and Sunspot, but what about Storm who was missing? I think they announced hee being in the next season of What If, so maybe what happened to her will be covered there.

I'm going to miss seeing WendyLee / Jubilee in her X-Men jacket for the next few months. But looking forward to seeing her back in the jacket for Season two. 😊😎

Season Finale really hits hard, I was flabbergasted in a good way. What an ending... 😱 While us audience knows the X-Men are split to different timeline, however Ive slight gripe, now where the hell are Storm, Logan and Morph? That felt incomplete... I cannot wait for another year just to find that out. Hahaha
