I love how the guy completely misses the quote "Omega level threat detected." While explaining his sister's Bishop's powers. Quite a huge giveaway on how powerful they made Storm.

This series is a masterpiece! The drama, message, relevancy, action are top tier!
don't care about the message, this is what has been killing the MCU, but everything else is just purely amazing, XMen 97 fucks!
This is where the fun begins
Rogue wearing a power dampening collar has been tried she gets sick and many mutants do as a side effect to rhe radiation of the collar. Also Rogue was assaulted in the comic while captured and forced to wear the collar so there's a lot of trauma associated with the device, it kinda kills the mood I'm sure.
Ooooh! I didn't know that about the collar. It makes sense. I didn't mean it had to be a collar though. That seems pretty inhumane.😅 I was more so thinking like take the tech, rework it a bit, and make a bracelet or something out of it that can be controlled. I'm sure Beast could solve the issue with it making mutants sick too.🤷🏾♂️
@@dnjstake1728Beast does make a smaller dainty power collar for her so she and Remy can enjoy their honeymoon (Rogue and Gambit are now married) side effects are still migraines and nausea just less so to a point where she can tolerate it a night or some hours at a time.
This show is great. Ya'll are definitely in for a wild ride.

I'm liking the show. The 90s theme and the characters. It like the little kid in me came out and still remembering watching this show on Saturday mornings Fox Kids. It great to see my favorite X-Men which is Wolverine, Storm, Gambit and Rogue back. My favorite line is Wolverine to Cyclops jeez dad keep buzzing in my ear. What would we do if we ever loss you. And the other Wolverine: I say we skip detaining and mail Trask back to the UN in little pieces. Storm: there will be no dismembering Wolverine. Wolverine: dismembering? Nah weight loss 😂🤣
They made Cyclops look good in this episode. The way he uses his Optic Blast to stop his landing was badass and the X-Men vs the Sentinels was cool as hell. The ending with Magneto becoming the leader of the X-men was insane. This first season is going to be 10 episodes total. But anyway I hope you two have an awesome day. I loved that they stepped up the animation but still gave it that same feel as the old cartoon series. Cyclops was amazing in this episode, and I can't wait to see more!! Morph "dies" very early in the original series. They've retconned it with Sinister.
Actually he didn't die and returned in the original series. They updated his look to be like the comic version.

Hahaha, no, stop with that bs nostalgia, because this show is much better. The previous show had a lot of filler episodes, and none of the episodes have the consistent dialogue and writing this show has.
No episode of the old show comes close to episode 5 or 10. Every aspect of this show is better than the previous one: animation (obviously), voice acting, writing, visuals, storytelling, editing, score, action, etc. This show is almost flawless 9.5/10, the previous show was like a solid 8/10 or 7.5/10.
You guys are talking over the best parts and missing the great writing. Like Cyclops when he said "give 'em the forecast" or "To me my X-men".
Oh we heard it, but it is a reaction so sometimes that happens. Plus it helps for copyright reasons. We'll try not to speak over it as much in future reactions though for viewers.😅 Probably by episode 3 since 2 is already done.
@dnjstake1728 I'm glad you're continuing on this journey. I was a little kid who grew up on these comics. The writer is doing a great time adapting Clarence Claremonts stories into animation.

Roberto is called Sunspot he was one of the new mutants a new team of young xmen. There is a live action movie out. Sunspot's power is based on the sun and its different from the human torch. Also in the comics Magneto was the leader of the xmen for quite a while because professor x was gone
