I have the 318 just recently got a delete kit for for it but really only used the valve solenoid block off and cooler plugs as the cooler was p*ssing out coolant and wasn't worth replacing. None the less left the whole unit along with egr back in place and plugged back in got it mapped runs like a dream now i'm just wondering about a decat tho does it not cause overboost problems with the diesels??
That’s a great technical question. I assume the stage 3 map I did to mine eliminates that issue. I too have nothing but good things to say about how it’s performing and running. 30k miles in and everything’s perfect.
Quick question, with the JR tune, do you have any check engine lights on due to the tune and deletes? Also, are your obd monitors able to be set with the tune still on the car?
Sorry I didn’t see this sooner my man.. Zero check lights, and my OBDs work just fine. I have nothing bad to say about the tune whatsoever. Be sure to upgrade your charge pipes and flex tubes. The boost will bust them quick. 😅
@@cramey80 nice man that’s very solid. I’m about to go deletes in 3 week on my 328d. I’ve actually recorded 57mpg on it without deletes (tuned with Kerma stage 2), all highway cruising 73mph with no A/C. Hoping to break 60mpg after the deletes!
www.tunemyeuro.com/bmw-328d-economy-package/ Wasn’t as expensive as it is now. I got the option to add hi flow cat. I got the EGR delete kit from Darkside Developments www.darksidedevelopments.co.uk/products/bmw-n47-n47s-engine-egr-egr-cooler-delete-kit.html
Man deeply appreciate it, thanks for the help it’s been challenging to find legit kits. Looking forward to get it done ✔️ and letting the 328D breathe. 👌👌 once again thanks 🙏.
@@brianmorales85 It is a little challenging to find stuff for the N47. And if your looking to do the charge and boost pipes while you’re at it. FTP Motorsports sells a combo kit for the 320d. Matches perfectly.
Hey brother , I recently picked up a 2017 328D Wagon I'm about to delete and tune. Just curious how everything is holding up now that you have some time on it. Also are you east coast ?
Bro, what is your 0-100 now? I already have a stage 1 ecu remap and I’m planning to do the dpf egr cat delete next. Just wondering how much performance I will gain by doing so
How’s the smell with the catted DP?

What kind of MPG are u getting now?
To no surprise, my city mpg dropped to about 32 mpg but hwy skyrocketed to around 55 mpg.

What kit did you use? For the DPF and ERG cooler? I have a 2014 328d RWD. I would like to mirror your set up. Great job man. 👍👍

I'm east coast and have the exact same setup. I've literally only had the car for a week, but the previous owner deleted it like 30k miles ago.

That is a good question my friend. I haven’t timed it, but I would say it’s def much quicker. Maybe I’ll get a time on it once I get a trans tune. 😈
Does the cat back buzzken sound anything like that?
I don’t know of too many other 328d personally, but I would imagine it might sounds a little louder, maaaaybe a little more aggressive.
😂
