My husband makes all kinds of banana bread. He used Reese's pieces, strawberry pieces, all kinds. My kids on my bus loved his banana bread. As matter of fact one went to Disneyland an got some banana bread an thru it away cause it wasn't like what he was used to.

I like your recipe. But, instead of chocolate chips. I like to add raisins and a touch of nutmeg and cinnamon. Or instead of raisins, I add crushed pineapple. People go really crazy for that one.
I don't like bananas either but I love banana and zucchini bread! When my potassium levels were really low I said I was going to try and eat bananas more so I wouldn't have to take those horse pills. Well I ate 1 banana and couldn't eat any more. I had to swallow the vitamin. Blah! I have a couple bananas in in the freezer. Just not sure if they are medium or small?
Do Not Use Self Rising Flour, as it already has Baking Soda and Baking Powder in it which is the Leveling agent used to help your bread rise, that's why she asks you to use all purpose flour because she is adding her own. All purpose flour has no leveling agents in it, that's why she is adding the baking soda and baking powder to it. If you Only have self rising flour you will need to leave out the baking soda and baking powder and proceed on with the recipe. Hope this helps.❤
