- Milwaukee Police attempted to conduct a traffic stop of a stolen vehicle that was involved in an armed robbery on Thursday, July 30, 2020. The 17-year-old driver led officers on a high-speed pursuit for several minutes before crashing into a pole. He was transported to a local hospital where he later died. Two passengers, a 16-year-old male and a 14-year-old female, were taken into custody and treated at a local hospital for minor injuries. For more videos and photos, visit / incidentresponse .
The irony of trying to evade the police in a Ford ESCAPE...

I can hear the Ford commercial now.
A man neatly dressed in a suit says: "I drive a Ford Escort so I can afford more hookers. Thanks Ford."

Ain't no ESCAPE happening here.

Very true!
Very true. In Romania we say "the first 7 years at home".
Apparently it ended there too
It’s about family
"No I know you wouldn't hesitate general (with a shining smile), but they might, go ahead general give them the order, make murderers out of these young men, Give Them The Order!" & "You can't do this general, 'cause if you do this everything, every freedom that you or I who have ever worn that uniform in defence of those inalienable rights that in the past many have fought, bled, & died for is gone!, And then They've won!!, Hell, They Have Already Won!!!" - My Main Man D-Wash in "The Siege".
17,16 and 14 in a stolen car committing armed robberies and the 17 year old ends up dead. Makes me cringe when I see things like this. It makes me think the parents of these kids don't care where they are and what they are doing. It's sad when things like this become the "norm" in some parts of our society.
Make me laugh. Society doesn't need people like that infesting it. That's a large problem with society today is we have WAY TOO MANY kids and adults too, in it who are just like that. If they don't care any more about their fellow man than that, as to rob from them, then race head-on into traffic & run through red lights at 90mph not caring at all if they kill someone, then why should anyone care about them?
They care now....they'll probably try suing the PD for something - just a pity there's no real enforced "parental responsibility law".
Apologies to all real caring, loving mothers & fathers for using the term "parents/parental" in this context I don't have any other choice.
Dad is non existant, mom is at the club or on tinder looking for her next baby daddy. They don't give a fuck about their kids. I'm a LEO down here in the south and its no different down here. They don't give a damn what their kids are doing. Until they get caught, then they show up at the station acting like we just arrested Ben Carson. When the kid had dope, gun, stolen car, etc.. You know... The usual.
Parents probably are no better.
@@boydcrowder6130 The aborigines before colonization treated their kids the exact same way. What a coincidence!
Even a tiny bird builds a nest before laying egss and yet these irresponsible people keep producing kids with no plans of giving them a stable, loving home. Sad.
A good spay and neuter program would work wonders. I guess as long as the government keeps basically paying people to have more kids they’ll keep it up.
Every kid gives the momma more of our tax dollars.
But every tiny bird has more brains than these guys...
@@stevee7774 Or how about keeping abortions legal?
@@chrisgiosa - Abortion’s don’t solve the problem of people having kids just to get more government money. Why? Because they ain’t getting abortions. Spay and neuter solves the problem.

When you embrace a culture that says nothing is your fault or responsibility this is what you get. Until there is a fundamental change of thinking of the urban dweller this will continue.
Apparently comprehension and logic is hard for most people, hence why it still continues lol
It has also become alarming in a sense that this type of mentality has high potential of being fatal. Not just to the person embracing that mentality, but also to those involved with the person.
If anythings hazardous to ones life and wellbeing, its the neo-liberal woke culture.

So true. There are those who will blame everything from the road being too winding to the pole being in the wrong place instead of the kid who chose to run from the police after he committed armed robbery. If somebody is pointing a gun at another person or officer, no question about it, they would be shot to protect the innocent.. driving like this should be considered no-less if not more dangerous. TAKE THEM OUT!
There is a good one in GA where a dude is running in a big U-Haul truck and is intentionally trying to ram other motorists. The cops pulls up beside him and dumps 5 or 6 rounds into the driver side window, on two different occasions. Needless to say the guy stopped. More than likely because his legs weren't working anymore from getting shot in the back. Assuming it was a spinal hit.

Yea Milwaukee used to have a policy to end pursuits and criminals knew it. Not sure if they still do since so many felons got away.

There is a joke in my country that fits perfectly into this situation: "A man hit by a train walked down the street in a plaster cast on two crutches, when he saw in a toy store a model with a little train running and walking along the tracks, so , he entered the store and broke the whole toy with his crutch, when asked why he did that he replied, you have to kill while you are small because after it grows, no one can handle it." This is the case, with 17 years of age already practicing armed robbery and car theft, imagine when he grows up.

It's because cities/counties/states that don't require police to call off pursuit if it gets too risky subsequently have more pursuits that lead to crashes.

Damn. We didn’t even get to see the best part!
It needs to be a national law. As soon as people cross the line into oncoming traffic then you should PIT as soon as you're able to. So many innocent people at risk. Most departments have to request permission from a supervisor, sometimes not even involved in the pursuit.
Gotta love these 16-17 year old kids thinking that they're not only great drivers but also that they'll out run the police or the radio.
Most have yet to face consequences never less have they faced or even come to terms with their own mortality. 🤷🏻♂️ Saved us taxpayers some pesos
Seems now perps just drive crazy reckless hoping chase gets waved off for safety.
That was a pretty schizophrenic-looking technique to elude police.
Rather they stopped that fool than to let him loose to commit more crimes.

This perpetrator put so many people's lives in danger. His actions are really no different then randomly shooting a firearm. For the safety of the public, these officers put their lives on the line to end the pursuit. I'm of the belief that if a perpetrator has total disregard for public safety, as demonstrated here, law enforcement officers should have justification to utilize deadly force.
All State Highway Patrols should have trained 'sniper' troopers with 50 caliber rifles. Setup at a roadblock and place a well aimed shot into the engine. Better yet, a well aimed shot into the driver.
You gotta know where they're gonna be to have a shot to take, unless you send up the helicopter and get there fast enough.
Exactly! I lost a friend due to a wrong side driver. 3 fatalities.
The cops chasing them also put so many people's lives in danger....
I'm down for criminalizing apathy in regards to others' lives.
Y'all might want to go back and edit your comment history if we do that, though.
@@fujimi715 So whats your solution? That they (the suspects) should be allowed to continue evading, potentially risking everyone else in their path?
The mentality here is the same as with current shoplifting trend. Nobody should attempt to capture the criminals in act, because the perpetrators could get hurt. So we allow them to waltz in and steal whatever they please and no one can do anything about it.
Another feel good story with a happy ending!!

Sorry to say, but at any age if you play the game...ya gotta be ready to accept what comes with if you lose...
You could tell he played way too may video games like those little twitchy left to right movements thought he was gonna shake that cop. 🤔
Even after all this, the likelihood of him making something out of himself that would make his mother proud remains the same.

@@Rh0ndaH0NDA That’s my understanding as well.
Only thing I want to say about this video is that I wish parents would show their kids videos like this when they are learning to drive and to teach them to NOT run from the police. 17 years old and he lost his life and put the lives of two other people in danger. It's NOT worth it kids!
He was trying to do "head fakes" in a Ford Escape 😂😂😂
Another class president, honor student and valedictorian, I presume.
of course, and I knew him, he would never rob anyone or do things like this.
Why can’t we see the dash cam from the patrol car that was closest to the crash when it happened?
Every department should have at least one grappler equipped unit available
We use it here in Arizona
Is it possible that the other 2 kids could be charged with murder since someone (the driver) was killed in the commission of a felony?
Definitely not because the argument would be they weren't in control of the vehicle and have no reasonable way to stop the driver from fleeing. They could be PTAC on the Armed Robbery that the vehicle was wanted for.
Oh he died? That’s a shame.
Damn dude that officer is a champion. Super cool. Excellent call outs on streets and conditions. Excellent following technique. Good work sir. Textbook.

But he still couldn't escape.

It sure seems like armed robberies are being committed more and more by young teens. Steal a car and commit armed robbery, all should go to prison for a very long time. Unfortunately that won't happen and they will be back on streets in no time doing it all over again.
PD's should have an organ donation van standing by for these clowns. At least they may be able to obtain some organs to save someone who may need a heart, liver, etc.

It was sheer luck that he didnt kill someone else. 2:57: opportunity to hit the car. My opinion is, that any force to stop him is justified, because of the danger of an erratic person using a car as a deadly weapon.
