- A high-speed police pursuit of a stolen vehicle ended with a crash near North Sherman Blvd & West Burleigh Street in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Monday, October 18, 2021. No one was injured. For more videos and photos, visit / incidentresponse .
This officer is no joke. That is the best dam pursuit I've ever seen. He called out every infraction, street, turn and did not lose him. Bad ass!

Yeah, and you gotta love how he waited until he was slowing down to make a turn to report his speed. lmao! If he told them they were running 60-70 through those neighborhoods his commanding officer would have called off the chase. lol.
I haven't been in law enforcement, and I thought the same thing. I couldn't do that for the immediate couple miles of my neighborhood.

@@ronswervinI would much rather deal with the police than my Mom if I were out doing this foolishness. Parents set the bar. These kids didn't just wake up one day and decide to commit a crime. Having children is easy, being an involved parent is Hard, Consistent, WORK!💯💯 If parents were held accountable for these pre teen and teens more parents might discipline their children!💯💯

@@ronswervin We couldn't go to a friend's house if our parents didn't speak to each other on the phone. No sleeping over without the parents having a face to face conversation. Everyone the whole block had to be in the house by the time the street light came on, off the phone by 10pm on the weekends 9 ish during the school week,. If one of the boys got into trouble with police he was sent to alternative school and moved away, if a girl got hot with the boys and got herself into trouble, we all knew that we could no longer play with her anymore. I grew up in South Central L.A. 1976-1994 same block with my friends. My Mom didn't play and I knew it so I didn't bother trying . I'm EXTREMELY thankful for not being a child during these social media times. I did find myself in a similar situation during the Rodney King riots, but someone on the block saw me fighting on the new by way of helicopter Cam and before I even realized My Mom was at home on the porch waiting on me with that belt. That was my last whooping I received and seeing my friends that didn't get into trouble like me. The cops kicked in door and ALL stolen property was picked up by way of national guards. I never had brushes with the police except a jaywalking ticket, and a street sweeper ticket. I'm greatful for my lessons. Had I not had lesson and expectations set by My Parents/Grands/bonus parents by way of my friends parents/the church, my girl scouts unit, sports. Mom kept me busy in hopes of never having to visit my jail or grave. Now it's my turn to take care of her. She to is in a bunch of programs to keep her busy. Well before she passed 4 years ago. I know what I could have became being from where I from during the crack epidemic, I also saw the kids whose parents did demand to know all about their child and how that ended. Something needs to change because what they are doing definitely is not working!💯💯

This officer showed the most incredible amount of self composure during a dangerous pursuit all the while communicating with dispatch and maneuvering through neighborhoods at high speeds that I've ever seen. This LEO is so cool. I don't know how you folks can do this type of thing day in and day out. Kudos to all involved (except the car thieves, of course).

There has been a LOT said lately on OTHER RUclips channels that police officers are too often actively engaged in violating the rights of the citizens for their own reasons.
THIS police officer in the Cop Car in this video saw a bunch of guys leaving a convenience store, jump into a vehicle that has a busted-out window, and drive off. The officer suspected the car may be stolen, but instead of approaching them, decided to follow them at a distance. The suspicious vehicle them committed a traffic infraction, giving the officer the justification to turn on lights and siren. This officer called it in and his suspicion was confirmed, the vehicle IS stolen.
Kudos to OP, the Original Policeman.

There were times when the officer seemed to underplay what was really happening with lower-than-actual speeds, etc. Probably because he didn't want the chase to get called off.

I'm surprised they didn't terminate the pursuit after seeing that these kids didn't care who they hurt or killed driving like that down those residential streets and blowing red lights and stop signs without even slowing down.

I've heard that a typical duty belt (now vests) weigh about 20 pounds fully loaded. That's a lot of weight to carry. And yet cops often manage to catch 18 year olds wearing the Felony Fliers.

all the cars need to be equipped with that wheel grabber net device -- stop the pursuit immediately. Doesn't matter how much it costs or if they get away. Stops potential accent deaths = public safety. Once the nets start catching cars, word will spread fast, and this action will stop pretty quick. Capt Obvious.
Especially for these urban pursuits. There's a lot more opportunities to get close in (and at lower speeds, at times) than a flat-out pursuit on a highway. That said, it's still a device that takes a bit of skill (and a little luck) to successfully deploy.

The best outcome here would have been the same as what happened in Buffalo, NY a week ago when four criminal teens were killed in a single vehicle rollover crash while fleeing in a stolen Kia SUV.
Four passengers were killed. The 16yo driver was released with only an ankle monitor. That's New York's no cash bail system for you. Only requirements is that he as a curfew and must keep up with his school work. But I guess people in New York are ok with that since they keep voting for the people who enact these policies.
