Hello folks, I’ve done a short follow up video following a question from a subscriber asking: ‘Will it spray masonry paint?’. I done a quick experiment and here is the link: ruclips.net/video/Lx8onWwxIGA/видео.html Hope this is of some help. Cheers, Leo
Thanks Andy, glad it was some use. I might do a follow up video in the future on some other bits and pieces about it. If you do get one, I really recommend purchasing another nozzle and container as it makes cleaning and maintenance so much easier. I just bought one last week off Amazon and the container was the larger 800ml capacity which was great for painting the fence panels. Nozzle and container was about £21, well worth the extra investment 😀😀
Bought one of these last week and painted my new shed. Fantastic piece of kit. Your reviews are great; very engaging and you always answer the questions I’m wondering about.
Literally just bought this today , 2nd july 23 . I have the larger Wagner M250 Pro which is incredible but need smaller kit just for doors, rads etc . Hope this goes well. Watching your video gave me more comfort in my purchase . Next 3 days will tell. 3 storey townhouse, doors, rads, shutters , possibly spindles. Game on.
Brilliant review! Just bought one. Tried it out over the last couple of days. Did quite a bit of car spraying many years ago and the professional guns I used were no easier to use than the Wagner W100. No need for a massive compressor either! Greeat piece of kit!
Thanks Alan. Really appreciate the kind feedback and glad you found it useful. And great to hear positive feedback about the product from someone who knows their way around a sprayer 👍👍
I had already bought one of these but watched a few videos before yours.............. but yours is by far the most helpful and informative. Thanks for putting it up,,,and by the way its currently buyable at around £67!!!!
Looks like it’s just what I need, I inherited a big big shed, this will me and the neighbours very happy ( as long as I pick the right colour) well presented video and thanks for sharing 👍😃
Thanks Cliff. Would highly recommend getting an additional container and if you could get someone to refill the extra one whilst you’re spraying it makes the job even quicker 😀👍
Really informative review, gives answers to all the questions you would normally ask. And by the way pal, you're really a natural at this presenting lark ! 👍
Thanks MC2, for the price it is excellent value for money👍. If you wouldn’t mind clicking the link in the description when purchasing a few pennies go towards helping support the channel. Best wishes, Leo 😀👍
Great video. Thank you. I am in the process of building an 8m long privacy screen/fence and large flower pots to attach the screens to. Will be getting the Wagner W100 and I am sure I will save many hours vs. treating by hand.
Absolutely, for a job like that, the W100 is ideally suited. I’ve done a quick video recently about how you can save time spraying if you want to have a look 👍
Mate, what a fantastic, holistic & gripping review! I have never used a gun before, so this is going to be my first & I'm so thankful that I stumbled onto your channel 👌🏻 You got my thumb, sub & bell 🍻
Very kind of you to say and thank you for your great feedback. This spray gun is an excellent addition and a great way to get started. I’m still using it now a couple of years on👍👍
Really helpful video. I was looking for a sprayer to use with ronseal fence coat and wasn’t sure which one to use. You have answered all my questions really well
Thanks Paul, if I was a betting man I’d say Wagner’s main consumer target for this sprayer was folk wanting to use the likes of fence panel coating. The fact it can spray other stuff is just a bonus in my opinion 👍
Great review mate, I got one from B&Q 2 months ago (September '20) for £50ish. Using it 1st time tomorrow and this demo and review are much better than the promo vids. Nice one 👍
Nice one, cheers pal. For the money I think it is exceptional value. There are obviously better sprayers out there, but you have to stump up the cash to pay for it
@@Hand-i-Craft it has arrived already so looking forward to having a play, it has a mixed bag of reviews but I suspect some people are not willing to set it up properly, I'm sure I will find many uses for it, great review by the way
Thanks for the shout out again Leo. 👍 Wow, I hadn't realised how much it has gone up in price! I bought 1 and then went back and bought another once I realised how good it was from Homebase when they were clearing stock, I bought mine for £25 and that was marked down from £45. But worth every penny as you say 😀
Leo I just this weekend got one of these to coat our lounge ceiling as I can't quite master using a big roller due to an old arm injury and found it very easy to setup and use, I'll be watching a few more of your videos now to help with my own home maintenance projects , thanks Peter
Just ordered one today from B&Q for £50.00,it was this price pre-Covid so well done them for holding the price, thought i would add this as you mentioned the price going up towards the end of the video, thanks for the upload was very helpful.
Nice one Neil👍. I think prices went up when the covid situation kicked in last year as manufacturing literally stopped everywhere. I think there are still plenty of issues for supply and demand in power tools as they haven’t caught up yet. Cheers for the message 😀👍
Hi Leo great review mate, I will definitely buy one for 50 pounds, thank you sharing your thoughts on the sprayer. As soon as prices come down I'm all over it.
Thanks for that great review Leo..I've just bought one of these. I've treated my garden fence with a water based preservative, after adjusting and getting use to the spray I done about 40 sq metres in 15 minutes..brilliant wee sprayer👍
Nice one and thanks for the kind comment Martin😀. I think the primary purpose for the sprayer like this one is the type of job you’ve just done. The fact it can spray the other stuff I’ve referenced is a bonus in my book 😀👍
super review..unbiased review feels like I tried it out myself...thanks for informative review and demos..i'm just checking to see if the flexio upgrades will be an improvement
Thanks Brian for the kind feedback. Wagner all round appear to be a decent brand so I’m sure if you’re paying for a better model you’ll be getting good value 😀👍
I haven’t tried it personally Larry, but I have seen folk on RUclips / Instagram spraying eggshell with one of these. Fundamentally it boils down to how thick the paint it, if it’s really gloopy and can’t be thinned without compromising the paint then I’d say no. If it’s a decent consistency then it shouldn’t be a problem 👍
Brother, great video man. Freaking put me to shame as i have two digit holders, mate. Good stuff, love you man. Gonna use my W100 to put deck stain on my deck, and then go from there, possibly paint the front porch. Great video.
Your welcome just found your vids as I have just sorted my fences out and decided to use my wagner spray gun I bought 2 years ago 🙈,so I go on you tube and you popped up I swear you are a natural at presenting and I can't wait for this dam wind to blow out so I can start spraying thanks again for the advice 👍.
Cheers Rich. Cleaning wise I spray through warm water with a very mild detergent first then just warm water for water based products. Oil based I spray through water mixed with a little white spirit then just water 👍
Thanks David👍. It’s a good all rounder in the budget price bracket, fantastic for stuff like fence panels and wood treatment, but it can do emulsion and satinwood etc as well 😀👍
Excellent, good luck and let me know how you get on with it. Just a word of caution, it is quite powerful so when you’re working on something like chairs, make sure you turn the power right down otherwise you run the risk of runs etc
Thanks David, if you’re spraying fences this will save you so much time! Proper versatile too so it’ll come in handy, just keep your eye out for prices dropping 👍😀
Thanks David. Would have been even better if the lead was just a bit longer as it’s quite short and you end up dragging the plug extension around a lot. But small niggles on what otherwise is a great piece of kit 😀
Cheers Saif, glad it has been of some help👍. You can buy an extra nozzle and container off Amazon for about £21 which is really handy if you frequently switch between water based or oil based products, or if you are painting using different colours 😀
Nicely done Leo 😁. Looks like a great bit of kit. I think electric spray guns have improved since I sprayed my cortina in 1986 with a "Burgess airless sprayer".... the Finnish was like artex 😂🤣😂. You forgot to mention the all important and essential bit of kit..... the stir fork... I bet Pam is still looking for it now 😂🤣. Top review Leo, take care 😁👍
Every project video reduces the kitchen cutlery by one at the minute, had to eat Sunday dinner with a spoon as that’s all that’s left😂 Remember Fords in the 80’s with the L, LX or if you were really minted the Ghia😳👍😀
Great job Leo. I’ve often wondered about sprayers, I have often used spray cans, but they usually turn out expensive. For me I keep humming and hawing between on of those and getting a compressor.
I’ve got a small compressor Tony since getting my vacuum clamps and I’ll probably invest in a large compressor when the workshop is eventually built. Can’t fault the Wagner at all though. Considering the price I paid and it’s versatility it is a cracking piece of kit😀
I went through the same thought process but eventually chose the electric route even though I have a compressor in my workshop. You cant run a compressor off an extension lead plus even a 24l tank is a heavy bit of kit if you want to work outside workshop environment whereas a simple extension lead will do for this. Good luck with whatever you choose
Tony InAngus Torally agree Tony. If I had one major criticism of the Wagner though is the electric cable is stupidly too small. I’m not asking for an extra 3 metres on the cable, but 0.5m would make a big difference then you aren’t constantly lifting the extension cable socket up when spraying a little bit higher
Hand-i-Craft actually it really irritated me because it seems like they saved 20 pence and or forgot the user perspective: 2.5m would have been ideal IMO. Not everyone’s choice but I cut the cable and added a flex connector box to a longer lead and made it a 3m cable. On balance it is still a good tool however even with the short lead 👍🏻
Really well explained to the tea I have a 50 Ltd 3hp twin piston and have been using it with 2k solvent base paint I mix it with hardener caould I use this in this spray gun or not thanks for the video
Thanks Chat for the feedback. I’ve no experience with the paint you’ve suggested here, but I don’t see a reason as to why not as long as you clean it out properly afterwards. Please let me know how you get on if you give it a try 👍👍
Thanks Argo, cleaning wise for water based products I just run warm water through it a couple of times and that works fine. For oil based products I used a combination of water with white spirit to rinse through 👍👍
Bought one of these last week to do 7 fence panels. Ended up using 8 litres of Ronseal One Life for the first coat. The stuff came out uneven and was a nightmare. Then when cleaning it i noticed the small clear hose on the side had a kink in it so i took it off, got the kink out of it and put it back on. 2nd coat took 5 litres and went on much smoother and more evenly. Seems to be that when it is working it works well but one tiny issue and the whole thing is a headache. I'll be keeping it because at worst it gets a ton of paint on the fence for me to brush in and that 75% of the work done.
@@Hand-i-Craft For the money it saves a ton of work. but yeah, if you want the finer things in life you have to pay the finer things in life money haha
Thank you Joseph for you very kind comment😀. You can use it indoors, but you need to be very careful with the ‘overspray’, that means paint particles that either spray outside your intended wall or bounce off what you are spraying and land on other surfaces. It is quite a powerful motor so make sure for indoors it is on its lowest setting and everything you are not spraying is well covered. Outside this isn’t a issue so is perfect for outdoor spraying 👍
Really appreciate the effort you made here. I’m looking at one of these for upcycling and mainly to do the 2 floor staircase. Zinsser first and then satinwood took coat. Hopefully it’ll work.
Thanks Leo... I'm about to use a Wagner Control Spray 100, which appears to be similar to yours, for the first time to paint a fence. Thanks for the information... it look simple enough. Let's see if I can get more paint on the fence than on me! ;-) Cheers from an American that has also lived in England (nr Manchester) and now hanging my hat in Chile. Happy New Year to you!
Cheers John, fence painting I think is this sprayers main purpose. The fact it can do other stuff is just an added bonus. Btw, your life sounds like an interesting adventure. From the USA, via the North of England to Chile😳😳, that would be an interesting pub conversation 😀😀
They do take a little getting used to Faarhaad so I certainly wouldn’t jump straight into your newly built MDF wardrobe without practicing on some scrap pieces first. If you’re not sure about using it then I’d go with a roller on the wardrobe for now and maybe consider the spray gun for future projects 👍
Hi there thanks for the fantastic video. I am going to buy this to spray an LPD shaker style door. The decorator i used bodged the finish so i sanded it all down and keyed it, need to clean it down. I am going to be using Caparol Haftprimer and PU satin which is sprayable, do you know how much water I will need to add? I think it's 10%. I am new to painting with a sprayer, I used cans in the past for small projects.
Cheers Adam. If you’re unsure about the consistency of the paint, I think it contains in the box something called a viscosity cup. If you RUclips how to use it, it can help you get perfect consistency results 👍👍
Hello Simon, cheers for the message. Can’t remember exactly dilution but I’d say 10-20%. If you want to do it more accurately there is the little gadget that comes with it that helps to calculate. Can’t remember the name of the gadget but have a look at the manual 👍
Fab review....... I'm gonna buy one now from B & Q, I was actually wondering if they're any good or not. After watching your review I'll take the plunge.
Thanks George for your very kind feedback. For the money they represent excellent value in my opinion. One thing you might want to consider down the line is Wagner also sell spare nozzles and containers. I picked up a nozzle and the bigger container on Amazon for about £21. Comes in really handy if you are frequently using different types of paint👍
Great review as always Leo that is the only problem with youtube reviews they are helpful with helping to decide what to purchase but it doesn't take long for sellers to cotton on to it when demand for a product suddenly goes up it doesn't take long for the price to go up as well may be to do with the covid 19 situation but i wouldn't be surprised if the price doesn't come down have seen many price increases after watching tool reviews and difficulty getting a product if you don't buy it quickly look forward to the next video 👍🔨
Cheers Rasmo, never thought of that scenario to be honest. I did do a bit of googling today and apparently B&Q have them ‘in stock’ at £50 but whether they actually have them in or not is another matter?🤷♂️😀
Morning Paul, that’s a very good question and I hope so! I’ve just bought 20lts of the stuff! We’ve just had the old toilet out building re established so I’m going to spray the inside of there and the front wall of the house I’m going to spray as well. I will say though that I’ve gone for the smooth sandtex masonary paint. I don’t think the nozzle would cope with the standard stuff as I’m presuming the fine grit would clog up the even finer nozzle.
Hand-i-Craft Maybe not Leo. I bought a HVLP spraygun to use on our shutters with Sadolin Superdec. I had to dilute it quite a bit to get it through the nozzle and it needed so many coats and clogged up so often it was much quicker to use a brush. It did say on the pot that Superdec wasn't suitable for spraying as it has small granules in it.
Michael Blackmore Cheers Michael. I’ve bought Sandtex ultra smooth masonry paint. If I get chance tomorrow I’m going to give it a test run and see what happens as I’ve got a feeling Paul isn’t the first person who’s going to ask this question 😀
Paul, I needed to find out the answer to your question so I experimented with it at the weekend and done a short video. Here is the link and I hope it is of some help. Best wishes, Leo: ruclips.net/video/Lx8onWwxIGA/видео.html
Thank you for the video. I have one but some paint squirts out from the trigger holes that have a metal rod and makes a huge mess. Do you happen to know why this happens?
Cheers for the message Frank. Sorry I can’t help you with this problem as it isn’t one that has cropped up before in any questions I’ve had. Might be worth getting a replacement if still under warranty?
Here in America the spray width is how wide can it spray. like if i was spraying in any direction, how wide could my spray be? 1 foot, 2 feet or it could be in inches. 12 inches, 24 inches so on and so on. i bought one the other day your video answered a lot.. Great video!
Great review, I could watch you spray stuff all day long 😆 just a quick question, I’ve just bought one myself to spray a little box project I’m working on, but I keep getting ‘spatter’ marks instead of being clean and smooth like yours. Any tips on what I may be doing wrong? I’ve tried thinning the paint down a bit but that hasn’t seemed to help. Many thanks and great vid once again 😊
Thank you Luciano 😀. In regards to the spitting / splatter marks, a couple of things to try. Firstly make sure the nozzle is clean and free from any debris and is securely fixed in place with the yellow plastic twist thing at the front. Secondly try twisting the power knob behind the trigger to its lowest setting and see if that makes any difference 👍
Sounds like you’ve got it set on full power Joanne so you might need to turn it down. It is only a small container though so it doesn’t last long. You can buy a larger container for around £10 which obviously lasts longer. Also if you have an extra container someone can be filling the other up whilst you’re spraying if an extra pair of hands are available and that saves a load of time 😀👍
@@Hand-i-Craft thank you , do i turn the dial down minus way ? Videos ive watched they seem to be spraying for ages . Think ill invest in a cpl of larger containers . Thanks for your reply .
@@joanne9232 Yes just turn it to its lowest setting. You’ll still only get a few minutes out of it but we’ll worth investing in some extra containers 👍👍
No problem! Do you happen to know what the little plastic red ring is that I found sealed in a small clear packet with the stirring stick? Researching now and can't find it.
@@sawdustandsurvival If my memory serves me right Andy it’s a spare plastic seal for something that’s already on the gun. Can’t quite remember where though off the top of my head. Have a look at the joint between the air flow pipe and the nozzle
I got one and it great to paint decking and it prefect smooth also fence as well it lots better than boring brush that took so long.. sprayer is quicker and simple job to do in fee minutes...
Hello there ! What a fantastic informative video. I bought one myself. So after watching some Werner vids they say I need the imulsion attachment. I bought the Werner with the standard wood and metal attachment because you made it look so good. Should I buy the other attachment or just go with your initial review? Thanks in advance !
Interesting Taurean and thank you for your kind comments. I didn’t know they had an emulsion attachment so it may well be worth a try if it is not too expensive. Since making this video I also bought just an ordinary extra nozzle so I use one for water based products and one for oil based which works well. Good luck with your spraying adventures 😀👍
Cleaning is pretty easy tbh M W just rinsing through warm water works best. What I have found to make things even easier is you can purchase an additional nozzle and container off Amazon for around £21 which, if you are continually shifting between water and oil based substances makes life even easier 😀👍
I'm on my third project with this sprayer; first two were great. This time though the motor section constantly detaches from the pot / sprayer section - has anyone else had this problem? No amount of searching online has given me any clues.
Hello EM, please I hope this doesn’t sound patronising (as I made this mistake quite a few times), are you sure you’re clicking it in from the right direction? I mistakenly clicked it in from the wrong side and it fell out after a few minutes. Just double check 👍👍
Thank you for your review, I'm going to buy one now, to see if I can do furniture restoration with it :) I'll be using mostly chalky style of paint, so I suppose I'll have to water it down a bit. I was looking for a spray gun that won't need a compressor. Thanks!
Thanks Emilia and good luck with it. For the price it really does represent good value for money. When painting furniture etc make sure it is turned down to its lowest setting as it is quite powerful👍
Hi mate, fantastic video, I stumbled on it and you answered pretty much my main question, about spraying metal ie can it? Also have you had any issues with cleaning the nozzle after using solvent based paint, and does the plastic react ok with the thinner? I'm definitely getting one for a new shed I'm building but meantime I need to spray a (big) storm drain cover I'm welding up that would be a b****** to brush/roller enamel onto because it's got lots of nooks and crannies. I'm in the Philippines and its impossible to get a Wagner delivered here from Amazon US/AUS so I'll get a similar spec local Chinese brand. PS nice to hear a scouse accent on YT! Geordie myself and not too many of us on here either.
Cheers for the message pal. Cleaning out the nozzle has been fine, but what I also did was buy an extra nozzle and container which aren’t expensive and use one for water based products and the other for oil based 👍👍
@@Hand-i-Craft That sounds like a plan! A tip I saw on a video comment is to use a thin platic bag, like you put your veg in at the supermarket, and put the paint inside that, inside the container - no cleaning required. Thanks for the reply.
I have bought used one on ebay £38 haven't tried it yet. I am just wondering if it can spray old engine oil as I use it to preserve my shed, it do take a long time to dry though. better than throwing it out.
Thanks Colin, I’m not 100% sure to be honest as engine oil is quite viscous. I’ll be using it for spraying decking oil in the spring but that is not as thick. Is there anyway you could mix something to thin it out a bit and make it easier to apply?
Hi mate hope you are OK I have got my wagner w100 just wondered what emulsion I could use as I am thinking of having a go at spraying one of our spare bedrooms white any tips would be great take care subbed your channel BTW 👍👍
Morning Clive, sorry for the late reply but I’ve been mad busy working on my workshop. Personally I used Leyland acrylic primer undercoat (which can be mixed with water for the sprayer) and tbh for the top coat I’d recommend either Johnstone’s Trade or Leyland Trade emulsion (again either can be mixed with water for the sprayer). Avoid the likes of Dulux, especially that easy care stuff which has the consistency of treacle and is awful. You might need to go to a timber merchant, possibly Amazon sell them, but likely not to get in B&Q etc as they push the likes of Dulux. You’ll never see a tradesman using Dulux and there is a reason for that. Prices are similar too. Hope this is of some help, Leo 😀👍
Have you had any issues with the W100 not applying much product? I'm currently spraying plasterboard with water based interior paint, and I've diluted it roughly 10%, but it is not pushing it though fast, certainly not as quick as you're showing in your video. I'm stuck thinking "this is not faster than rolling it on".
Thanks for the message. I’ve had messages about issues with emulsion. If the consistency of the emulsion is that real gloopy thick stuff then, even with considerable thinning down, you’re going to have some serious problems. The stuff I used in the video was quite viscous even before thinning so sprayed through fine 👍👍
Morning David. I was lucky in the sense when I’ve used it indoors. When I decorated the lounge we were also getting new carpet plus I was also making new skirting boards. Apart from the chimney breast (which was getting painted the green I used in the demo, all the other walls including the ceiling were sprayed white so taping up was minimal.same applied to the bedroom. When I did spray the chimney breast I did go over the top masking the joining walls. It was just I was so happy with the white finish I’d got, I didn’t want to see green specs anywhere! I pre sprayed the skirting boards outside with undercoat then a satin finish before fitting them. I know probably a lot of folk on here would say that is terrible and completely the wrong thing to do, but it worked well for me😀
😂😂😂Sorry karlee my bad😀. I’m sorry I don’t know about the handle extension and could well imagine how backbreaking it’d be spraying the decking with it
amazing! just got this for inside walls and saw wood and metal on the box so was a bit worried. What sort of consistency would you recommend watering down dulux for?
Thanks for the message. Dulux is a tough one as some of it can be quite ‘gloopy’, especially the easy care stuff which would be very difficult to spray. It should have come with a plastic cup thing that is a viscosity measure. Have a quick look on RUclips and that is the best and most consistent way to measure how to thin down paint👍👍. Good luck 😀👍
Thanks alot for your great video. I've made a guitar and want to apply a lacquer and don't want to spend hundreds on professional gear. I think I'll get one and try it for £50 at B&Q.
Good luck Rob and let me know how it goes. Make sure you turn the spray pressure down for fine work like that as it’s quite powerful and make sure you try it on some scrap pieces first! Best wishes, Leo 👍😀
You can Boltonian. Couple of things to consider, firstly make sure the spray power is turned right down as it is powerful and you want to avoid overspray as much as possible. Secondly use a good trade emulsion like Leyland or Johnstone’s which doesn’t need much thinning. Don’t bother trying with the likes of that Dulux easy care, it has the texture of treacle so you’d have to thin it right down which would require multiple layers, lots of overspray and a poor finish👍
Hey 👋🏽, Just come across your video whilst looking for reviews on sprayers. Great vid with lots of info. Quick ? I have never used a sprayer but have a huge amount of furniture to upcycle (bedroom sets, tables etc etc) plus want to spray my kitchen cabinet doors. Will the Wagner W100 be sturdy enough and will it give a fine smooth finish or would I be better to look at the flexio 590 or 690 🤔? Don't want to spend more if this will do the job 😉👍🏽. Thanks 🙂
Hello Sandra and thanks for your very kind message. It is a great question and budget will dictate your answer. In my honest opinion the W100 is designed for the likes of spraying fence panels and it does it very well. The fact it can also spray a variety of other products is a bonus. I have sprayed satinwood onto hardboard for a garage door conversion inside and got great results, but if you are after upcycling furniture etc and you can afford the extra outlay, I’d probably go for the more expensive model. I’ve never used them, but imagine you would get a finer finish than the W100, even though it is a great entry level machine. Hope this helps, best wishes, Leo 😀👍

How does work with eggshell paint - please?
I haven’t tried it personally Larry, but I have seen folk on RUclips / Instagram spraying eggshell with one of these. Fundamentally it boils down to how thick the paint it, if it’s really gloopy and can’t be thinned without compromising the paint then I’d say no. If it’s a decent consistency then it shouldn’t be a problem 👍

Very interesting video - I would have liked a short clip on cleaning the sprayer though.
Cheers Rich. Cleaning wise I spray through warm water with a very mild detergent first then just warm water for water based products. Oil based I spray through water mixed with a little white spirit then just water 👍
Great review and I will be getting one !
Thanks David👍. It’s a good all rounder in the budget price bracket, fantastic for stuff like fence panels and wood treatment, but it can do emulsion and satinwood etc as well 😀👍
Well I just bought one, the W150 which I'm hoping is essentially the same machine as I have some furniture to upcycle. Wish me luck!
Excellent, good luck and let me know how you get on with it. Just a word of caution, it is quite powerful so when you’re working on something like chairs, make sure you turn the power right down otherwise you run the risk of runs etc
That was a brilliant review mate. Looked at these before as the mrs keeps nagging me to paint the fences. I hate painting fences by hand.

Great review Leo, easier to get an extension lead down the garden than a compressor 🙂
Take care 👍

@@Hand-i-Craft ahh.. those were the days 😂🤣. I was never minted enough to have a Ghia 🙁. And I sure as hell couldn't afford one now 😂🤣. 😁👍

Hey perfect video but one question is missing. How do I clean it ? Could you please give info on that too please.
Thanks Argo, cleaning wise for water based products I just run warm water through it a couple of times and that works fine. For oil based products I used a combination of water with white spirit to rinse through 👍👍
Fantastic video thanks for sharing!
Thanks Shade, much appreciated 😀👍
Cheers for the feedback here. At an entry level price I think it represents good value, but it isn’t a fine finish machine 😀👍
@@Hand-i-Craft For the money it saves a ton of work. but yeah, if you want the finer things in life you have to pay the finer things in life money haha
Hello, God bless you for a very good video, I need to know if the w100 is good for indoors and outdoors walls.
Have a lovely moment
Thank you Joseph for you very kind comment😀. You can use it indoors, but you need to be very careful with the ‘overspray’, that means paint particles that either spray outside your intended wall or bounce off what you are spraying and land on other surfaces. It is quite a powerful motor so make sure for indoors it is on its lowest setting and everything you are not spraying is well covered. Outside this isn’t a issue so is perfect for outdoor spraying 👍
Nice to hear from you, have a good day and many blessings
Have enjoyed the video. Grand review.

Can you oil an outdoor timber deck.
Yes, this is fine to use for that purpose 👍
I'm planning to buy on of Wagner W100, but a bit worried about finished results. I got mdf wardrobe to paint from scratch.

Just bought one and also a fan of the Johnstones Satinwood. How much water did you add?
Hello Simon, cheers for the message. Can’t remember exactly dilution but I’d say 10-20%. If you want to do it more accurately there is the little gadget that comes with it that helps to calculate. Can’t remember the name of the gadget but have a look at the manual 👍

Hi
Do you think it could cope with something lie Sandtex external masonary paint?
Hand-i-Craft Good luck Leo. I hope it works OK without so much thinning you need a lot of coats.

Sorry Graham I can’t help you with this question unfortunately. It’s one of only a few substances I haven’t tried with it.

Thanks Melissa for your very kind feedback, much appreciated 👍👍😀😀
WELL DONE
Thank you 😀😀👍👍
What am i doing wrong ? Am filling it up every 2 mins , first time using mine .using ronsesl plus to do my fence . Any help appreciated thanks

Interesting Taurean and thank you for your kind comments. I didn’t know they had an emulsion attachment so it may well be worth a try if it is not too expensive.
Thanks; yes checked all that as well. I think perhaps I'm not pushing it in far enough before twisting.
Thank you for your review, I'm going to buy one now, to see if I can do furniture restoration with it :) I'll be using mostly chalky style of paint, so I suppose I'll have to water it down a bit. I was looking for a spray gun that won't need a compressor. Thanks!

@@Emilia-fx9tc Excellent, keep me posted how you get on👍. Remember always test it on something first before going for it on the actual product😀👍
Great review. Thank you.
Cheers Somos👍👍😀
What a legend
Cheers Sam 😀👍
i have an older model, but always been to wary to use indoors. How much masking did you have to do to sray your walls?
I know probably a lot of folk on here would say that is terrible and completely the wrong thing to do, but it worked well for me😀
Does the extension add on to this aswell my back is breaking with doing decking ?
You can add an electrical extension fine karlee if that’s what you mean 👍👍😀😀
@@Hand-i-Craft ha no the handle extension ha not electrical lol
😂😂😂Sorry karlee my bad😀. I’m sorry I don’t know about the handle extension and could well imagine how backbreaking it’d be spraying the decking with it
Hi can i use this one for interior plasterboard/drywall bedroom walls with water based paints?
You can, but be careful. It is quite powerful, even on its lowest setting so be mindful of overspray and cover up everything you’re not painting 👍👍
@@Hand-i-Craft so overall is suitable for indoor? because in description it says for wood and metal thats why im still hesitating
A bit late but the spray “width” is actually the fan size or fan width
Absolutely😀😀👍👍

@@Hand-i-Craft Agreed! And I’m sure next door will eventually see that the tops of their bushes do look good in Tudor dark oak 😂
amazing! just got this for inside walls and saw wood and metal on the box so was a bit worried.
Best wishes, Leo 👍😀
is this any good for painting internal walls in your home.
You can Boltonian. Couple of things to consider, firstly make sure the spray power is turned right down as it is powerful and you want to avoid overspray as much as possible. Secondly use a good trade emulsion like Leyland or Johnstone’s which doesn’t need much thinning. Don’t bother trying with the likes of that Dulux easy care, it has the texture of treacle so you’d have to thin it right down which would require multiple layers, lots of overspray and a poor finish👍
thanks brother i appriciate your advice and for getting back to me on this, stay safe and look after yourself.
Hey 👋🏽,
Just come across your video whilst looking for reviews on sprayers.
