I am writing before I see. Because as I read comments I know a little bit. That pup is a million bucks face and temperament. I always feel good and anything is possible after I see you work. Best is best. Thank you for being here. This is one of the best pieces I have seen. It comes to life. Wowser!!!
I love your work Kacha. Everything you do is so beautiful! I just wanted to tell you that I’m so glad you continue to use many differentkinds of products and brand names. So many of the others I like to watch, seem to have been “bought“ by Dixie Belle. They used to use other brands and now they seem to use only Dixie Belle products. I hate to see the marketers get a hold of someone like that. Making money is certainly an important part of this, but staying true to yourself is more important in my opinion. I like your independence and appreciate it. Keep up the beautiful work. I enjoy watching and I am inspired!
I never liked gold on furniture until I saw how you create such beautiful pieces with it. Now I love it. Transfers are a lot of work when they are small but fearless you used a hugh one. And did a wonderful job with it.
Such NICE MUSIC to paint by and stroke Blue on the head with the paintbrush, TOO!!!! I just LOVE this whole experience today!!!!! I wish I had a BLUE!!!!!! 😄😃🥰😍😘
I was not really into the transfers at first, but then Kacha used her magic on this piece to turn it into an incredible work of art. Beautiful! I love what you did with this desk. As always, you inspire me. Edit to add: I have been working on transforming a 1950's era chest of drawers from blah to beautiful. I owe all my efforts to you, Kacha. Painting furniture is so rewarding.
Again your a super star ....best part of watching you is that we get the feeling of true feelings nothing's fake when you are excited we get excited. Your. The only channel I subscribe too.
I was so surprised to see this video pop up for me- then - it turns out that I owned this vanity along with the matching highboy! These pieces of bedroom furniture were expensive and extremely well made with tongue and groove drawers- all solid wood, and very heavy! I sold the vanity, but still have the high boy. The 2 pieces were gifted to me from a friend whose mother had purchased them new a few decades ago. She couldn't use them so she sweetly passed them on to me. The transfers are so pretty and such an updated form of decoupage which was so trendy back in the 30's and 40's on the East Coast. This updated vanity is absolutely stunning and beautiful! Thanks for sharing!
Kacha, what you do is transform tired furniture, like putting makeup on a woman! Then the finishing touch, jewelry! Love watching you!! So inspirational!!😍
Wow! Dramatic and gorgeous. I’m loving your videos. Thank you for sharing your exuberant passion and boundless creativity. Love that you don’t hold back or play it safe. GOLD!!!
What a great transformation. Black is such a classy color and the transfer really made a difference; of course along with the gold. Great job and another great video. Thanks !!
Kacha I’m so glad you used a transfer today. I have been researching them instead of stencils and I’m a “must see” person. The descriptions on some websites just don’t explain a product very well. You have done it again doll.... INSPIRATION! Thanks so much ~ hugs from Texas ~
I am buying one like this tomorrow, excellent condition, for $35. I will attach an old washstand's mirror and harp to it and paint it all the same color.oooo!
Gorgeous and almost perfect. I’d love to see the interiors of the drawers painted too , maybe a luscious turquoise ,or something ,then with a few handsome lucite drawer organizers , or something.
Kacha~ So Many people do not give a second thought to used or old furniture. I really love that you have a vision for each piece & you bring it to a “New Life...a NEW VISION OF TRUE BEAUTY & ART❣️❣️” I appreciate all the products you share with us; I appreciate the detailing you give each piece you work on and Precision & Love which you give to each piece of Furniture you work on...I really wasn’t sure I was going to like the roses on this piece of furniture but you really brought it all together with your vision and it is just STUNNING ❣️❣️ you really are very talented❣️❣️ definitely enjoying your website♥️♥️
One of the best designs & use of materials I have seen! And I am 69 yrs old...been refinishing & hacking furniture since I was 24. You have a great eye for the dramatic. The video was very nicely done. I will be watching more of your videos as they are released. As to what I would like to see... have you tried "marrying" (antique term) two unrelated pieces of furniture. Example: a dresser and a topper with shelves to create a display cabinet or the like? I did a simple one yrs ago but only used paint on the shelf top to blend it with an antique dresser. I'm sure you could come up with more imaginative results. Thanks.
BEAUTIFUL!! And your fur baby Duke loves you so much. You can see in how he was sitting close by when you where on the floor working. It was like he was protecting his mama. What a sweet baby boy. We have 3 cats that really believe they are dogs. 💕💜
When you first started putting the 'Stencil' on, I thought - "Oh no, MUCH TOO BUSY"; but when you applied the Gold, it really POPPED!!!! This is really a BEAUTIFUL PIECE!!!!
I love your work. I’m going to try my hand at some of your techniques on some of my old furniture pieces to spruce them up. Thanks for the tutorials Kacha.
I'm Soo very happy you used that particular transfer on this piece. I bought it also and have been working with it the last few days. My struggle, like I saw you had trouble with, is the transfer is impossible to really match up. There is always that line where the panels fit together. No matter how precise I tried to be there was always that darn line. I ended up going back in with a detail brush and having to mix paints to get as close as possible to fill it all in. I would much rather have had it in either one big transfer sheet even though those are cumbersome to work with or if they had set up the design so there weren't straight cut edges right through the middle of, for example, a rose - cut in half. IOD breaks theirs down into smaller easier to handle pages now also but they don't cut through the design. Also, I've used all the tricks I know to get rid of the halo. This particular one seems to have a really stubborn halo around the edges. Mine has a deep blue/black base paint cover so the halo really stands out. I burnished and burnished & did it some more which normally makes the halo disappear. I even tried a little steel wool with a very light touch which normally makes the tough halo spots disappear all to no avail. I'm thinking maybe go in with a little Dixie Dirt & smudge it with my finger along the edges of the transfer? Any suggestions? Oorrr - maybe I'm just being to particular! haha All that said the difference between the before & after of your desk is astronomical! It's so gorgeous. Edited to add: I just got the most sensational beautifully carved Meridienne sofa - given to me!! It's the kind that's a little like a chaise with the back sloped downward on one end but has arms on each side. It's a wreck and needs a lot of work but the carving is all intact & in good shape. I've been hording 8 yards of a medium rose colored upholstery satin for about 5 years I'll upholster it with.. and of course paint the frame! Trust me when I say I wish wish wish I could bring it across the country to have you paint it. I'm scared to take on this project. Not the upholstering but the painting. It's just such a special piece of furniture. Here's a picture of one that's incredibly close to the one I have minus being in good condition: www.realtor.com/advice/home-improvement/couch-terms-glossary-sofa/ It's the 5th image down. Any suggestions?
Oh wow I looked at it and it’s amazing! If I ever come across something like that (and the price is not $2k 😂) I’m going to gold leaf it. I would personally gold leaf the wood area and do some kind of dark wax to make it aged.
I have a Staffordshire terrier who is a beautiful Boy. Tico is a service dog but is really my best friend. Your baby is so cute and I was mesmerized by his cuteness. God bless you are a great lady! So talented.
Wow Kacha! That desk is so beautiful. I wasn't sure about the gold...I usually love all the gold! But who am I to doubt the amazing skills of Kacha! It is such a beautiful transformation!
WOW, Kacha! It's amazing to see how this piece of furniture went from drab to FAB! I honestly admit that your style of furniture design, while so very different from my preferred taste, is eye opening and is teaching me to the appreciate the glitz and glam (to include gold, of course). The piece, once you were done with it, went from ugly step-sister to Cinderella! I loved the idea of using the brown paper bag piece to help sand the top into a smooth finish. That is one tip that was totally new to me. Thank you again for this wonderful tutorial. Your dog is the cutest! I love how he keeps you company while you work! Good company makes the work more fun and go faster!
Very pretty. I have my grandmother's old (at least 100 years) five drawer chest. It's solid wood. I'm going to refinish it in light yellow, and then apply violets over the paint. Wish me luck. My fur baby (a big boxer) will be hanging out with me too.
This desk/Vanity is so lovely, Kacha!!!!! I would love to see you refinish an Art Deco piece. I redid my bedroom in an Art Deco theme, and it turned out really well. I refinished a desk and a dresser, including some decoupaged panels in a beautiful gold and white deco tissue paper. They turned out really nice, but I would love to see what you would do.
I have an addiction! Your art is so beautiful and creative. You are inspirational and I love how you are doing unique pieces. Keep it up. You seem like a beautiful person inside and out. I love how you are changing these pieces these older pieces to make them have new life! 👏
Great looking. I would never suspect a damaged top. Thank you for a new way to work with flaws.
I enjoy what you do and they are all absolutely fantastic. But. I love Duke. So adorable
Every piece you do is more beautiful than the last. I love your skill, imagination, and flair for fun.
Wow, drop dead gorgeous. The transfers "make" this piece. And the gold handles are perfect.
Really beautiful piece with so much character. Thanks for the extra Duke time. That guy needs his own show.
Such NICE MUSIC to paint by and stroke Blue on the head with the paintbrush, TOO!!!! I just LOVE this whole experience today!!!!! I wish I had a BLUE!!!!!! 😄😃🥰😍😘
Thank you Dr.Sandra
You are amazing! This now looks like a vintage piece of furniture that could be placed in a historic home. Wonderful!
Petting doggie with the brush 💕 put a smile on my face!
Kacha, ur laugh makes this 61 years old lady happy. Good art. You have a great eye and great style.

Ingenious and perfection. Gonna attempt something on my level but I am blown away again, lady!!! That looks rich rich

It is absolutely stunning. The colors and pattern work perfectly together. Absolutely love.

I love this makeover. Good work , Kacha.
Your work is like nothing Ive ever seen. Absolutely magnificent. Love your video's!
That is a gorgeous piece. Thanks for everything you are teaching.
Wow, what a difference and artistically done.
You did a very beautiful job on that desk. Gorgeous. Your dog is sweet too.
Kacha, your videos are my new obsession. I make my family look at your amazing creations.
I LOVE it!
Love RED and black together.
And of course GOLD!
You always make it look BEAUTIFUL ❤️
And Duke what a great companion 💕
I have a Staffordshire terrier who is a beautiful Boy. Tico is a service dog but is really my best friend. Your baby is so cute and I was mesmerized by his cuteness. God bless you are a great lady! So talented.
Glad you took the transfer off the apron.
Looks luxe, Kacha. Well done.
Very very French-looking vanity..Simply I love it.
I did a blackwash on an 80’s dresser and end table. It let a little bit of the old cherry stain show through but gave it such a nice dark update!
Kacha this is magnificent...you've really outdone yourself...🤩
Stunning. So rewarding to save a piece from the garbage dump. And if Duke gets any cuter...we won’t be able to stand it! His face is so adorable! ❤️
Gorgeous piece. Very elegant,
Wow Kacha! That desk is so beautiful. I wasn't sure about the gold...I usually love all the gold! But who am I to doubt the amazing skills of Kacha! It is such a beautiful transformation!
This piece is one of my favorites. Love the Duke man.

Please make more videos with these types of cool transfer prints! Absolutely beautiful 😻
So elegant, very beautiful. Thank you for sharing
I was blown away it turned out to be a very magnificent piece you're very creative.
You started off with a classy looking piece and made it look even classier! You still have that gold touch! Beautiful Kasha!💓😀🍀🇨🇦
Thank you 😊
Very pretty.
I just listened to your podcast about your anxiety. Thank you for your honesty. I'm sure your mother is with you and very proud. 💗
Thank you so much🖤
OMGGG!!! LOVE LOVE LOVEEEEEEE!!!!! It looks like a trillion dollars. Just as regal as the cute pitty, lol. That's some serious work girl. You deserve an award for this number. I wish I could buy it now.
I'm not big on a ton of flowers but I have to say that looks really nice. Beautiful job! 👏👏👏
Thank you! 😊
Feminine and stylish. Love transfers on the top
