Translation for non-French speakers: When streams turn pink in the setting sun, And a slight shudder rushes through the wheat fields, A plea for happiness seems to rise out of all things And it climbs up towards the troubled heart. A plea to relish the charm of life While there is youth and the evening is fair, For we pass away, as the wave passes: The wave to the sea, we to the grave.
When you play accompaniment for singers, you need to sing the vocal part in your mind. You treated the piece as a solo piano so it's very hard to follow your tempo when I practice my singing -- you rush at the last beat of each measure in general. This is impossible for singers to align with you well, especially at the beginning of a phrase when I'm inhaling. As a result, it sounded like that I'm the accompaniment of you.
@@picklygirl123they’re right tho. the last chord is held just a split second. song is already hard to do w accompaniment but this one is a bit off tempo ever so slightly which makes it harder
Hi Natalie! I've played it in d minor as well. I'm very busy now but I'll try to record it... Do you know that you can change the pitch of any song with Audacity or several other programs? Greetings from Spain!

So beautiful
Wonderful! Needed this a couple of years ago but I made it through! Still soothing to hear
Thank you so much! Never is too late 😁
Haven’t sung this in a while. Thank you fir sharing your beautiful accompaniment:)
You are amazing thank you!
Thanks so much!
You're welcome Mary Beth!! 😃
I'm doing this song for a scholarship audition but it's so tricky because the piano makes it almost harder so I hope to have everything down soon
Thank you for your wonderful work. I would love to use this accompaniment and "nuit d'étoile" in a recording for my homepage. Would that be okay?
I dedicate this song to Margarette Lourens ...I love you and miss you ....thank you ma ...for life
Very helpful for practice. THANK YOU!
I'm glad that it is so 😊 Keep practicing !!

Awesome!!! Sounds so romantic. I was looking for accompaniment for this piece. May I use it to record for my YT channel?
HOY 21 DEAGOSTO DEL 2017 ES UN BELLO DIA EMOCIONAL AL ENCONTRARME CON ESTAS GRABACIONES DE MI ÉPOCA. GRACIAS POR LA GENEROSIDAD.
I am doing it for a concert, it’s really hard to keep up with the accompanist 😭
Thanks so much. I'm studying this for a master class. I wouldn't suppose you also have done Après Un Rêve? 😉

Thank you very much, for my il tempo is perfect.
Hello! Can I have your permission to use this as my accompaniment to my class?Thank you
Yes, sure! Thanks for asking 😉
Very nice: but a better key would be F, at the very least; this is still much to low for being 'high'.
I love singing this in the shower
Merci, avec ça je peux biens travailler le morceau
Très bon tempo... un léger manque de fluidité mais très bon son, bravo!
+Frédéric D-R Thanks a lot Frédéric! Regards!

It is the song, the voice doesn’t line up with the piano much on purpose

Nice but careful on bar 10!! G sharp! Augmented C chord not major
Con más rubato.Y ritardando al final de las frases. Sobre todo en las partes donde estás sólo.
Ah you have! But in c minor. I need d minor 😪
