I think Alicent knew she misunderstood, but things are too far gone, now…there’s nothing she can do
Alicent is right though! she does believe Rhaenyra but its too late to change things now....her sons and the court would have her head if she suddenly started campaigning for Rhaenyra!!!!
Aegon would have imprisoned yes, but have her head? nah 😂
When Daemon unsheathes Dark Sister, the shaking door immediately stops. I first thought whoever was behind the door heard the unsheathing and left. I now believe Dark Sister was cancelling or deflecting some of the old god's power. When Daemon drops his sword he was then transported to the godswood where the old gods are strongest. True, Daemon still saw a younger version of Rhaenyra while holding his sword, but I still believe Dark Sister was countering/blocking part of the old gods power with a power of its own
I remember at Harrenhall Tywin telling Arya he was cold. She was going to light a fire for him. Tywin was old and it may have been a chilly day in a damp chilly castle. Or maybe Tywin felt the presence of a ghost
People are being so terrible to Aemond’s actor online, it’s ridiculous
I seriously don't know why. He's beautiful! Certainly better looking than these team black incels making fun of him.
@@aemondmommasboy78 he’s gorgeous as hell. But even if he wasn’t, body shaming people is always wrong
The council is disrespectful, at the same time, they all KNOW (and completely right) the war has already started and sitting on their thumbs is very naive and not smart at all. You are right, what Visery said to Alicent had no effect on what happened, only helped Alicent accept it, she was for Rhaenyra up to that point, but it was happening regardless. Otto told Rhaenarys in the first season, when he went to Dragonstone and offered terms (Daemon said he would rather kill his sons than to have them as cup and shield bearers for Aegon) that the moment Aegon was born her succession was not going to happen.
Hola Larissa, ésta serie esta buenísima cada episodio es esperado con impaciencia en mi país, saludos con mucho cariño desde PERÚ.✌😎❤🇵🇪
Rheana isn’t just being sent to where her mother died, it’s where the girls spent years happy with both their mom and dad.
So at least she knows where she’s going quite well. 🤷🏼♀️
his eggs really remind me of our 3 deneays boys but i thought he belonged to drymafaer
24:58 Yup! Thanks for noticing that. It wasn't Alicent's half-overheard prophecy that put Aegon on the throne, but Otto's plans. Generally, people overlook this fact.
25:59 It does not. It is just a silly scene to give the characters something to do... It just doesn't make sense that Rhaenyra would risk such an act, for any reason.
Haven’t got the post discuss yet so sorry if you mention, but 3 of the eggs going with Rhaena are Drogon, Viserion and Rhaegal
this is how it's going to end rhena leaves with the boys sure pentos guardian of the dragon lineage it's a big responsibility but rhenyra has every confidence in herself
Yes, that's the same hand maiden from the first season that Aegon assaulted and was sent packing with some hush money.
Weird she is still in Kings Landing, pretty sure she was sent to Oldtown..
Early is great (as long as it's not before I have a chance to see the episode, because then sometimes titles or thumbnails are innate spoilers, depending how they are crafted) On time is very good. (and I can understand your scheduling) Late is still good. (I caught your entire reaction to TWD starting somewhere toward the end of the main series, but I still loved it)
I appreciate Rhaenys, who speaks from both experience and watching over time. She's put aside the "death" of her son, to honor her king's wishes, and to offer sincere counsel to her king's rightful heir. She also knows that Otto would not have condoned the act of sending the twin as an assassin, any more than Rhaenyra would have condoned the murder of Helaena's child. Rhaenyra asked for the killer to pay the price, Aemond. Somewhere between that ask, and the execution, the order was handled wrong, whether Daemon wasn't clear enough, or the assassin acted far more feely than he should have, Rhaenyra gave the request, and somewhere in the "grapevine" the wrong target became valid.
6:58-7:05 "In some ways that's pretty messed up."
I do understand, and agree, in that circumstance, with the information at hand, I felt somewhat the same, but I did recognize Rhaenyra is saying "Yes, your sister has a dragon and you do not, but I am entrusting to you my *most cherished* sons. They are not safe here, and I am trusting you to care for and protect them." You had much the same response as I did. I think I just saw a little more of the trust aspect. I would not trust my child's or my god child's life to someone I would not first be willing to trust with my own. Not everyone I would trust with my life, would I trust with theirs. ["I will trust you with my life, but I will not trust your to protect my child. My life is worth less to me than hers."]
12:50-13:15 I think kind of reinforced my instinct to settle in your mind "yeah, it may seem shitty, but what is Rhaenyra actually entrusting her with?"
17:15-17:20 I hate to say it, but if I'm on dragon back, just pursued someone whom I know is a major player in the politics or war against my queen ride into the trees, I'd be very likely to veer a couple hundred yards to one side and create an arc of fire 10+ feet wide, at that 200 yards distance, to make it impassible for a moment, then come back and scorch all the intervening trees. Even if I didn't get the enemy, I'd make a statement. And thus I'd probably force the dragon war to begin sooner, rather than later.
I don't call him Cristen, nor Crispin. I call him Crispy Coal. (Yes I know his surname is Cole, but it's so simple of a rename, it's hard to resist)
Not intending anything negative... But my take on Milly Alcock "I shall watch your career with great interest." [eww, I hate finding myself feeling that _that_ character said these words before me]
I do see something Alicent could do, but I could be reading some things into the situation, and she doesn't have the full knowledge that the "Song of Ice and Fire" is a prophecy about the Prince that was Promised, [Aegon, whichever one] from the time of Aegon The Conqueror. Alicent could go to her son Aemond, tell him "I need your support. Will you give it, now and through this time of trial?" If he agrees, between Alicent and Aemond, they hold significant sway over the King. Aemond being the "mostly respected" older brother, and rider of the largest known claimed dragon, and Alicent being both of their mother. I could see a path to avert most, if not all of the war. (But this probably would lose the audience, and get the show canceled. We can't have that!)
Quick detail: The _Lord_ of Harrenhall is Larys Strong. The person you references as lord is Castellan of Harrenhall. Castellan is a "most trusted to manage, while the lord is busy or away" servant. Still sworn to the lord of the house, still sworn to the family.
Do realize, Aegon revealed Aemond with the woman in a pleasure den, with several people that Aegon wants to "be in charge" in this situation and makes a cutting remark, but then starts to lead his "friends" away with an excuse, while Aemond just stands up, doesn't even feel the need to collect his clothes, and walks away dismissively. The power dynamic between them is rife with contradictions, and if Aemond were actually to act on an insult, this war would be over fast, he has the largest ridden dragon, and his dragon could end the capital. I think it's a sign of restraint by Aemond that he walked away, but a sign of defiance he doesn't even need to collect his clothes. The way he walked, I think was a slight matter of posturing to imply "I'll give you this, brother. But don't make a habit of intruding"
And
Now
For
Something
Completely
Different...
[Completely unrelated, would you mid putting something up about that ring on your index finger which I have seen a few times, 24:13-24:14 and 24:26-24:30 I've noticed it a few times, and I would like to know more about it. I know someone whom I think would love to have something similar, and her birthday is only 4 months away] [Yes I caught it a few more times in the outro, but those two timestamps are definitely enough to identify the ring I'm referring to]
The show made those eggs Dani's eggs, but it's unlikely at best for that to be true in the books. Anyway, it's not an important issue for either story. Show & books are different. Show is more like a docudrama of the books. Events are true, but the characters can be quite different (a lot) in many ways. Treat both stories on their own merits separately and not compare them to each other.
Hi Larissa, welcome back. The build up continues, sides are being chosen with deadly consequences. No one will be spared. The last scenes between Alicent and Rhaenyra are always so good. It was nice seeing Milly Alcock again, can't wait for the Dragon battles to begin, fire and blood. ✌
But are we gonna have to wait till season 4 to see a battle??? I’m ready for some action honestly
The thing I don't get about Rhaena is that she's been living on Dragonstone for six years. For that entire time, Vermithor and Silverwing were just chilling in the Dragonmont. Why didn't she claim one of them?
Some say that the adults probably told her not to until she gets older. Her mom didn’t claim vhagar until 15. Personally I just think she’s a lazy teenager thing.
When are you doing E4 reaction I'm rly waiting for it haha. :D
Love you Larissa

Baby Monk.
body shaming the aemond actor? disappointing
Yes, you are disappointing. 😂
I seriously don't know why. He's hot!
Oh my God, you are beautiful
Larissa, I hope you're enjoying The Acolyte on your own. Perhaps it's for the best to view them in private as the mob has been harassing reactors who've enjoyed the series. Hope all is well, cheers.
Get back to more QUANTUM LEAP
@LarissaZeeuwe...............1 I have no clue what that means
Larissa is a targaryen
Buenas Noches Larrisa Targaryen🖤🔥&🩸, And to calm hormones, Rhaenys raises her grandfather, King Jaehaerys, knowing that it was precisely he who took away her right to the Throne... and all this display of conscience, to defend his Queen with mastery and honor; I never felt like a Queen who wasn't, with so much right to rule
Put a like if you think me and Larissa should be engaged
