Hey folks, Suzy here. I'm pausing all comments on this video because my mods have told me there are far too many people causing drama & sharing spoilers. I'm not sure why a big majority of the HOTD fanbase are SOOO TOXIC when it's mainly adults but hey, not much surprises me these days. Much love to those who know how to be grown up and leave nice words! 😍
I think she went on this mission knowing she had a chance to kill them in season 1 and felt she couldnt go back missing the opportunity of killing them this time.
Vhagar is an ambush killer, like a bloody giant flying crocodile.. Maybe Rhaenys didn't realise Corlys had screwed around on her until she saw his bastard.
@@thebruisedkind5345In this case, by hiding behind a couple hundred feet of sea cliff. That Vhagar managed to get into that position unseen by Rhaenys is one of the least probable elements of this episode.
Rhaenys was sent by Queen Rhaenyra to protect the people of Rooks Rest in this Battle. Just because Vhagar shows up to fight it doesn't mean the Battle is over. If Rhaenys had fled back to Dragonstone, running away from the Battle and Abandoning the people of Rooks Rest, Rhaenyra's claim would be viewed as weak. Like Queen Rhaenyra runs away when things get tough. That's the simple answer for Rhaenys's suicide mission. Put even simpler, there were still people to protect. By the Queen 👑 Who *ALWAYS* Was 💔 ❤️
She couldn't abandon the battle, it wpuld be a death knell on the blacks cause. No banner men will rally for them if they know that they'll abandon them in the heat of battlet. It was all or nothing.
I disagree, they just threw away their largest dragon, one of their council members and accomplished absolutely nothing. She even breached the wall in the end... If I am an undecided lord that would be a major blow to the blacks for me. Now, if I get word that Rhaenys flew into the battle, scorched hundreds of men, took out the king and his dragon, and did some damage on Vhagar, spoiling their ambush and got the hell out of there.... I would be thoroughly impressed.
The writing in episode 3 was a little contrived, but its OKAY. Comparing it to the end of GoT makes no sense. The contrivances there sabotaged character whereas here it serves.

"You should not dragon-drive while drunk!" Love it Suzy! 😂👌

Daemon Targaryen looks like Geralt of Rivia as a Pirate😅
Rhaenys, the queen who never was should be changed to the "queen who should have been." RIP.

but how can an animal the size of, according to George RR Martin, a football field be an ambush killer

I think she felt guilt for not ending it in the dragonpit and wanted to end it by destroying Vaygar like Daemon had said to her.
Phenomenal episode, incredible incredible, I cried with Rhaenyra and her dragon, it's sad to see dragons killing each other and destroying each other!
Rhaenys never found out her son Laenor was alive 😔

enjoyed this reaction and appreciate your perspective on the characters.
Don't let the trolls get to you. You're not a phat Jesse Pinkman... you're a healthy-weight Jesse Pinkman - but with a better hairline! 💅

As it is for Alys, as it is for you two :
I'd go to war for that delightful Scottish accent. ^^
