45:42 Actually, as for Daemon and Rhaenyra, they actually did want to touch and kiss each other; the blood and dragon chemistry between them was absolutely palpable. However, they both consciously refrained from a moment of husband-wife closeness and tenderness because they both know this is a crucial political and ceremonial moment, projection of determination, strength and power for the audience, in which they must play the official role of a loyal subject and their rightful queen. At that moment, he is not playing a role of a husband to his wife - but a commander general to their resolute ruler queen. In short, their political message is - no time for love, it`s time for war; she is not woman/my wife, she is our war queen; no weaknesses on our side, only strength. By doing this, he swears allegiance, affirms her as the rightful queen and recruits the entire army to her cause. A deliberate political act of recruiting subjects under their banner. Political ceremonial displays for which they, as members of the royal family, have both been trained their entire lives. So, I think their verbal and non-verbal interaction in this scene is excellently acted out, Emma D'Arcy and Matt Smith are simply great.
51:40 😅😂 since you asked according to asoiaf canon dragons do mate with eo 34:35 thats a mated pair; Vermax(Jace) and Moondancer(Baela), also Silverwing(Ulf) and Vermithor(Hugh) is another mated pair. Dragons are believed to be asexual, the only form of intimacy between pairs are a mating dance similar to eagles, they are also sometimes seen coiled around eo while resting. they do not mate for life, some dragons have multiple partner but not at the same time. there is no way to differentiate gender in dragons, most dragons are believed to be male until they lay eggs(at one point in the book daemon start addressing caraxes as 'she' during an inner monologue without any explanation, some believe its bcs caraxes laid eggs off-page while in harrenhal others believe its just printing error). Most of this are just theories of one particular Maestar but are not considered real by citadel bcs there is no "scientific" proof
20:15 from what i remember Jace's actor just turned 18 and baela actress was 25 while shooting this season... maybe they didn't think it was appropriate, i could be wrong but thats the only reason that remotely make some sense to me
2:57 She’s only screen for like 3 seconds, but the Blue Queen, Tessarion, is by far the best dragon. Blue dragon with blue flames. My Azula loving heart 💙 I can’t wait for more of her next season. They better not give her normal flames, because that is not who she is. She is blue fire.
for as much more that i like HotD than GoT, my consistent reddit comment this season has been that there is SO LITTLE AFFECTION sensuality joy hatred passion expression etc this season, that my favorite characters change every couple episodes based purely on "who showed emotionality at all??" i even love that this season was another holding pattern, but halfway through the season, i was like 1) Aegon II 2) Gwayne [GAP] 3) Alicent... not only that no one hugs, touches, smiles, but it also seems most actors were directed to speak too softly and look still & staunch 90% of the time. {LARYS BEING ONE OF MY FAVES BECAUSE HE CRIED ONE TEAR ONCE} is not good, Bob! sidenote: **Can't Unsee Warning** i learned from one of those Armorer Reacts videos that gorgets definitely go under the breastplate, not over it, and almost every MF out here has a giant exposed gorget in both this and GoT. i don't wanna feel alone anymore. ❤ the channel and thanks for the funny clever content🖤💚
I also loved this episode lmao I think people were annoyed there wasn't another battle which is fair but I like the conversation focused episodes more anyways so I was happy
It’s just because this wasn’t a finale episode. They cut the last two off, which had battles, to save for next season, so it feels unfinished. Not a bad episode, though.
My favorite moments of this episode were the Tyland scenes. My least favorite are the awful scenes where the two queens can easily sneak in and out of their castles to have chats.
this season was good just not worth the 2 year wait, also those dismissing the whole season just cause they didn’t like the finale when they were some amazing episodes (2 & 4)
"come with me" line was crazy. That whole conversation was so emotional and they went back to their teenage selves
Lord even matt smiths walk enthralls me at this point.😂
I love how delusional you are about Alicent and Rhaenyra.. Never gonna happen 😂
i knew you two would love this and would get it...elite reactions...

So, what’s next? Another TV show? More movies?
Great question! Not quite sure yet.

Corlys confirmed as a deadbeat father; at least Addam's getting paid well now.

I mean emily was like 18 in season 1 and she has a sex scene with paddy
@@anais6654 i thought she was in 20s but that did cause an uproar in social media

I wish we could see have seen more of Cregan Stark and the northmen. I want to see more pov besides the Targaryens.
Dreamfyre is not a "sweet baby angel" 😅

I, too, love ‘Granny War Crimes’
glad you enjoyed it. But the later Alicent stuff ruined this for me
Yes, Evil

Having issues with your husband, send them to Alys and she'll sort them out
Such an important public service she is offering!!
