I miss when Barbie dolls used to be extra sparkly and like something a real model would wear! If I had a way to mail the 1999 Barbie and Kelly dolls I have in box, I totally would!

There was also a collectible Barbie in the form of a ghost. It was called Haunted Beauty Ghost Barbie. Also in this collection were released dolls in the form of a vampire, a zombie bride and the mistress of the manor. Very beautiful dolls 🖤

I don't understand why Mattel would just let the Halloween market just pass them by! Makes no sense! Loved this video, I didn't know there were so many Halloween barbies!
Many of them, if you noticed, were Target Exclusive. Which meant Target ordered them to be sold. Mattel didn't make them to be sold.

They knew excactly what they were doing making them for target. Also, I stick by what I said. They still could be making Halloween barbies every year...they just stopped.
Love the first one with the pumpkin sweatshirt. Definitely brings back memories of trick r' treating when it was BIG in the 90s.

I love love love the Halloween Barbies but honestly it was sad watching the decline in quality from 1997 to 2016. :(
They got amazing, IMO, in the 2000s. But yeah, somewhere around 2010, they started tanking.
I think Halloween Enchantress is one of my favorite barbies ever- I grew up with mostly CEO/generation girl face mold barbie, so I LOVE seeing that mold painted with a more mature, sort of sexy expression, and she’s one of the ONLY barbies I can find that has a widow’s peak! I don’t really care about the outfit, I just love the doll herself- I bought her nude last year and she’s absolutely my favorite barbie in my little collection, I love her so much!

I had never seen most of these. The early ones are truly spectacular! There was also the Elizabeth Montgomery Bewitched collector doll.... Wish I had a bunch of these. A girl can dream.
The 2008 Halloween Barbie means a lot to me too! It's the only Halloween Barbie I own & was my introduction to these dolls too. My mom surprised me with her one day after school and I was in love! I named her Vicky :)) I've also kept her in great shape. I even took the plastic tag off of her hat and it stays on pretty well. A quality doll 🧡

When the Barbie looks not that great inside the box, I am like “Meh, I guess it is okay” But outside the box, I am like “WoW, the Barbie looks a lot better outside the box, I like this doll” 😻

I really love the Halloween Kelly dolls too, in 1998 they came out with a cute set of 4, which I own, bought in 1998. Butterfly, witch, skeleton, and princess.
As a witch guy myself-id like a ken + barbie halloween set ONLY if ken is also a witch and not a wizard or whatever else

The pumpkin one was my favorite because it’s still fun and creative looking, while still looking sexy as well as classy.
It’s funny you say about the 1998 barbies being pirates! I was in preschool that year and in our Halloween party photo almost all of us were pirates - I can’t remember why that was such a trend that year though. I never had the barbie, but I feel like there was definitely a trend (at least where I lived)!
After having watched all your barbie collection videos i have noticed and realised something. I love the barbie face sculpt from 2000 to 2003 the most. The way the expression of the eyes and smile were done on these barbies are the best in my opinion. Shes very bright eyed and the lips were usually a brighter shade with a pleasant smile and teeth usually showing. I wish they continued this face sculpt. Shes the happiest and kindest looking here in my opinion.

I never knew that Mattel had so many Halloween Barbies. I love the one you say is your favorite with the purple dress but I also love the "Bootiful Barbie in the white dress, she's unusual and had never seen her before. I loved all your personal Barbies. Great video.

My mom bought me the 2009 Halloween Barbie in the orange witch dress and purple hat nostalgia overload cause my mom passed away 5 years later in 2014
Loved this clicked straight away! I miss the halloween barbies there was so much detail and effort they use to put into them, we deserve that now! They should definitely go back to their roots and create more beautiful halloween barbies like they used to do. We would snatch them up and there's so many more designs they could do like a mummy theme, bats, spiders, werewolf, bones etc or even incorporate some designs from halloween movies like a Scream barbie. I own the halloween charm 2006 barbie. I would love to see a halloween barbie with the colour green 🤔 I wouldn't mind some more halloween bratz too! The struggle of us in Britain trying to get the target dolls 😅 luckily I've managed to get a really nice christmas one from there!
My cousin had an Erica doll from Princess and the Pauper, who still sings to this day. Well, at least when I remembered her.
I had the middle doll from 2006:) She had a cute birthmark above her lip and I absolutely loved her!
I bought 5 of these outfits this year, to deck my vintage Barbies out for Halloween--without the dolls they came with! I got the dresses & accessories to Halloween Enchantress & Booootiful Barbie, from 2004, which are just as gorgeous as you describe. I also bought the 2012 witch dress, 2014 witch dress, the 2016 "Vampira dress" with the stand-up collar. The 2014 dress is actually quite pretty, with a tulle fold-over collar with sparkly stars, & a black satin bowtie belt. I dressed my '92 Totally Hair brunette Barbie in it, with ankle boots instead of the long ones, & it's quite cute on her. I'm so glad that so many folks will sell the outfits separately, & I can bring them to life on a better-made vintage doll! Thanks for showing all of these. I'm in love with so many of the outfits!!

With how popular the Harry Potter series was during the early 2000s... I'm surprised Mattel didn't release an entire Barbie Witches and Magic playset for Halloween.
I have Trick or Chic 2008 coming. Excited about that. Also badly want Bootiful and Halloween Star 'cause she's so boho, and reminds me for some reason of Star from Lost Boys. I too was amazed there are witch barbies. I had thought the only one was the Bewitched Samantha witch (which I also want. Loved the show as a kid). So I'm thrilled, as I love witch culture.
7:44 I was also desperate to have her, I immediately fell in love with this doll when I knew it existed ! I made her come all the way from the USA to France and I'm not disappointed. She's the only one I have from the Halloween theme, and one of the very few I have overall actually.

I love Halloween themed Barbies & Kelly's/Kens/Tommys etc.. i had no idea the first was released in🎃👻 1997. I had really expected for the first one to have been released in like the 70s, but they're so cool, love them♡♡🫶🏽😻😍🥰😘

I actually have quite a few of these. They used sell these in grocery stores on a special display. Me and my Mom would hunt them down every year. Great memories!! The quality of these were sooo good. The decline of Barbie nowadays is so sad.

The haunted beauty collectors doll are much better and more diverse IMO. We got a Manor Lady (giving me Lady Tremaine vibes), A ghost in chains, A Vampire Queen and a Zombie bride

I only ever owned Enchanted Halloween, but I loved her. I was 13 when she came out and my Grandma surprised me with her when I came home from school one day. She eventually got lost in a move, but I hope to get a replacement one day.

I bid on Trick or Chic 2006 but didn't get her. Love how she's sideways in the box, and the dress. I hope some come with a broom. Also really want the wicked witch of the east, so mean looking and she's got the classic striped socks. I have two pairs of b&w stripe socks myself. 😉
I loved my Enchanted Halloween Barbie, and I am glad she found a good new home when my collecting preferences changed. The one with the glittery cobwebs would have been my fave too ❤️

Id like a Morticia barbie...A barbie with a removable costume..Face paint you can do yourself ..Maybe a short haired barbie with a removable hat/wig combo..So much more interesting halloween barbies could have been done...A skull candy Barbie with face paint ...It sucks they water it down to appeal to the masses..keep it so basic to avoid upsetting anyone...A halloween wheel chair barbie would be cool (the wheel chair is not the costume) The barbie just being festive for hallowen..
