Hey, Ryan! Here's something I noticed: the name of the company CHARON Corporation is named after Charon, also spelled Kharon, who isa character from Greek mythology. He is a psychopomp who is famous for being the Ferryman of the dead who entered Hades, the Greek underworld. Combined with Moloch, I think CHARON Corporation was purposefully luring in people as sacrifices to Moloch, functioning as the Ferryman. As for the adults, maybe their disfiguration is a way the park marks the unworthy or discarded. Almost as if Moloch is picking and choosing who he wants as a sacrifice.
I wonder if it also affected the minds of the people who choose to stay in the HOME. Like it tries to keep them there as long as possible, making the lose themselves in the mazes and levels so that it can snap them up more easily without anyone noticing. Making people stay so that it has a constant flow of sacrifices, all staying voluntarily in a confined space. Kind of like cattle.
I think Moloch is referenced in an old movie called The Cell. It's a great one but it takes a stomach to watch and I mean it's rated what it is because, it is.
I wanna add to a hypothesis of mine on what I think is going on with the ride(s), if this isn't already explained in the video since I am only halfway and wanted to talk about this. I think the attraction(s) are affecting the mental state of the person riding it, where like a charm spell/love potion/etc, the person is influenced by this ride and it affects their mental state. They gain an excessive amount of joy and happiness where the only thing they are thinking about is how fun the ride is and that they want to ride it more. This would cause the person to gain a facial deformity that gets worse since they become happier the longer they ride it. The person continues to gain huge amounts of joy and happiness that would affect the person's heart similar to how the heart beats faster the more nervous/stressed you are. The person's heart would beat extremely fast and eventually undergo some sort of cardiac arrest or heart attack and dies due to the stockpile of stress from the overload of happiness.
@@AegisOfIgnister what the hell happens to their faces then, maria looked like something out of the smile tapes or the backrooms, that doesn't happen because of uncontrollable happiness. (This is a stretch but) maybe the liminal land anomaly is like the laugh track and a fast roller coaster combined. it almost seems like their faces go through plastic surgery in order to get to those types of conditions, so i did research. apparently, the closest thing i could find to face distortion is bell's palsy which is caused by face compression, and it can turn into facial paralysis if bad enough.
Aloha Ryan just wanted to say: 26 minutes on a rollercoaster _is_ a long time, given rollercoasters run for 1-2 minutes, maybe 3, and some can top 90mph (which is really fast for a rollercoaster). Now, this rollercoaster anomaly doesn’t look like it’d do loops or something like that, but it still has drops and sharp turns, and it could be moving very fast. Now, I’ve rode a rollercoaster @ 90mph and rode it 5 times in a row, and after the 5th time, I felt dehydrated and dizzy. Now imagine being in a non-stop loop for 26 minutes. You’d probably pass out.
It would also be worse cause I’m assuming the pain of her face slowly reshaping your whole facial structure would be terrible while being stuck on a roller coaster for 26 minutes straight
@@SilverGummiShark I’m pretty sure the longest roller coaster is like 4 minutes because of the health problems if there any longer than that but someone correct me if I’m wrong. so it being 26 of course even not being a cursed sacrificial roller coaster would send you to the hospital
Hi Ryan! Something I just looked up about the ride at 21:25 is that it's named the Chrysanthemum. The Chrysanthemum is a type of flower which is sometimes colloquially known as the "flower of death" and has become associated with death instead of life in some European cultures due to its prominent use as a GRAVESITE DECORATION. So yeah. That's not terrifying at all.
I was exited when he found the code as “Rite of Passage”, a term I had researched prior. If you don’t know the rite of passage is a concept detailing a transitional stage, usually a ritual. A rite of passage is comprised of three stages pre liminal, liminal, and post liminal. Liminal spaces and liminality itself both are derived from the middle stage which is described as “the period between stages, during which one has left one place or state but has not yet entered or joined the next”
What I found much more unsettling is that one part of the attraction articles keeps mention of waiting employees. For example, in Subliminal land, it mentions to find an employee, and if they can't, then go to the EXIT signs, which leads to an employee. It's really weird and the fact we have a letter from a employee shows they don't know either.
I also found that bit in the Hall of Walls where it just says to stand still and wait for help to be very suspicious. “Help is always on the way”, but it may not be an employee though.
I do like the addition of AI generated people because AI can't ever make a person look like an actual person, especially expressions as there is ALWAYS something wrong.
The little bit of shade thrown at Disneyland was a very nice detail! In the actual history, Disneyland did suffer a decline in the mid 70s early 80s after the death of Walt Disney and the focus had shifted to Disney World and Epcot. Disneyland's attendance picked back up around 1985 after George Lucas helped make Star Tours and thrill rides like Space Mountain and Big Thunder replaced the older tamer rides.
it’s pretty obvious that whoever made this was using AI art for each of the pictures but i’m all in for it, this is something that not a lot of people use bc of the controversy when it comes to AI art but in this case i love how the person uses the creepiness of it too make it seem more.. unknown and unsettling
the fact they used AI to make the art definitely contributes to the style, the amount of pictures and the style are really something that can't really be recreated with people

I think it's an interesting detail how, in the images of park attendees, it almost always seems like children are screaming at something they find scary while the adults are malformed to look like they're enjoying themselves. Perhaps it's a sort of illusion or forced perception on things. Maybe the parents and other adults are forced to feel extreme happiness in order to shield any feelings of pain or discomfort, whereas the children are getting glimpses of just how exactly "the park is alive". Maybe the kids, as the sought after sacrifices, are getting visions or glimpses of what exactly is hunting them - or a glimpse of what their fates might be, either in terms of their deaths or whatever lies after. This is a very interesting concept as a whole. I'm excited for more content on Liminal Land!
Hey Ryan. If you loved Liminal Park, I have another analog horror series based in a theme park: Arcade Acres. It's a small analog horror series set around the forgotten Arcade Acres Amusement Park. It follows 29-year-old film blogger Gregg K as he tries to remember a park that he went to in the 90's. There's currently only two episodes with a third in development and should be released some time soon. I suggest giving the series a watch.
The deep uncomfortable and eerie aura after the final death shown only to abruptly cut to the recommended video of Mascot Horror dying made me laugh way too hard
I like that Ryan is further expanding the type of content he pumps out. Been a fan since 2017, and I gotta say, he's one of the few channels I still consistently watch because of how he does things here.
I have a theory on the Moloch thing, the people who founded the amusement park are members or leaders of a cult that is worshipping Moloch, so they made a bait for children (the amusement park) to get separated from parents and literally "sacrificed" them for the sake of Moloch.
Here's a small theory I have. Maybe the people who created Liminal Land worshiped the Moloch guy. They could have built the park to lure people in. Also, the "clean energy" thing kinda stuck with me. Maybe there was some sort of ancient ruins there that gave off a certain energy, and the CHARON people could have attempted to utilize it.
I think the people behind this site have adopted the lore and pure creepypasta of the place and are having fun with it. Let’s face it. Riteofpassage is a terrible password. They want people to see this.
The liminal space stuff has been so captivating to me! I'm so glad you covered this. It's pretty fascinating and covers two things I really like, liminal spaces/backrooms and messed up theme parks. I love the story behind it and the terrifying photos. Based on what I've seen and other comments on this video, I think Liminal Land wss built as a way to sacrifice children to Moloch. I think the theme park itself could be sentient, and warps itself to make people get lost in it and to separate parents from children. It also has some mind-altering powers to make people want to stay in it despite the dangers. I'm not very sure about the deforminities though, maybe people who get deformed are humans who are not suitable for sacrifice, and get rejected by the demon.
There's seriously some good analogue horror being created right now. With this, Painter Killer, and Vita Carnis...... fantastic quality horror being created. Love seeing you react to it Ryan.

Crysanthemums in some European countries can be used to represent death and mourning, but it also depends on the color/culture of the crysanthemum. But the ride being named that is probably using multiple meanings from the crysanthemum which is death and mourning as well as joyousness and friendship. It just depends on the cultural context of the flower
Oh yeah, to add onto that, it is also used as a popular flower for the Day of the Dead or Días de Los Muertos which is a Mexican holiday in November to celebrate the remembrance of the dead.
I may be wrong, but I believe a couple of parts of this were based on real events. Regarding the roller-coaster that artificially induced laughter, I believe this may have been a reference to the Smiler, a roller coaster at Alton Towers in the UK. This coaster featured advertising that implied that it used hypnosis and mind control to induce a mindless grin on those who rode it, and was the site of a notable accident in 2015 when two cars collided. As for the Moloch thing, this might be a reference to the ghost train fire at the Australian theme park, Luna Park. Just before riding the ghost train and subsequently dying when it caught fire, a pair of kids posed for a photograph with a man in a bizarre and faintly sinister horned costume. At first assumed to be a park employee, this was later proved not to be the case, and the man in the costume was never identified. Some people have suggested that his costume resembles an effigy of Moloch, and that the fire was started by a cult seeking to make a sacrifice to Moloch.
I know what photo you're referring to and apparently it's been debunked as the costumed person was part of a parade or something like that took part near the ride.
Before I clicked this video I already knew it was gonna be f-ing terrifying because the faces on the sides and the grandma in the middle was absolutely terrifying. Also why does Sherry Travis' smile look absolutely f-ing terrifying it was so creepy it sent a shiver down my spine and everything was overall creepy
I love this because it’s like watching with a friend who won’t shut up. Which is good 👍 because it’s less scary. Like getting to watch the horror with your hand being held 😂
About this story when the video says "this place is alive" i think the park is some kind of a monster like the monster house movie and its just hiding his true colors, i think the roller coaster is a tale or a snake or something to make the roller coaster faster.
The “Dissatisfied visitor” tape where you had to spot the dissatisfied visitor was actually a training tape to spot whatever roams Liminal Land that is simply not human.
My Speculations! Another thing I should add is that I just realized the images around here at 17:05 are mostly AI generated images. So, good for the deformities, but unchecked AI generation. It's very convincing though. At about 19:50, you can see at the bottom of the page, 5 people are gathered around holding hands. However, the person in the middle has no head, maybe confirming the theories about the deformations. 20:39, when talking about the backrooms, I agree with 8-bit-Ryan about how it may be like an alternate universe where THEY created the backrooms. No wonder it's called LIMINAL LAND. 24:23, the HOME project seems good at first, but it seems kinda dangerous, housing a ton of people, I think they said underground. As well in New Mexico, oddly enough. 27:05, didn't 8-bit-Ryan say it looked like an animal as well? Maybe it is alive, hiding itself to lure in guests. Smart move, but not smart enough, as you see the railing looking like a spine from an animal. 28:10, that's super creepy, separating your kids from the park sounds like a red flag, but the park may have been solved, as we see with the anomaly ride. Almost all adults go in that ride. Weirdly enough, it's JUST the ADULTS getting most of the deformities. 29:20, Lake Valley observations had a home-like area in THAT area? Seems very odd. Especially when they said it was renovated into subliminal lands. Maybe the deformities started around that time? 32:27, neat little detail there with the computer generated. that's what some of the people kind of looked like, AI generated, like I said first off. 34:33, So they built their park OVER A LAB. With an UNDERGROUND HOME. This probably means that they didn't BUILD most of their things, they mostly used what was LEFT of the place. Very odd, but I can see that. Maybe they were drawn in as the labs probably had something that the CHARON studies wanted to get. 35:12, The Hub, a place that when you entered, it meant DEATH. Maybe THAT'S why people were having DEFORMITIES and undiscovered, or undisclosed, DEATHS. 36:03, using EXPERIMENTAL RESERVOIRS as park rides and/or attractions? Seems highly unusual. Probably not for CHARON. 37:08, so they COLD BLOODILY just painted over a HOME room, for new guests. Even when KIDS died there. Disgusting, but not for CHARON. Purposely, maybe? 39:39, HUH, WHAT A COINCIDENCE. Great video! Just subbed!
oh jesus lord when i first saw their faces I thought “huh kinda looks like prolonged exposure to radiation” and when ryan was reading about the hub, it confirmed that for me. I feel like Charon is using this to some extent
Love you videos Ryan. I've recently discovered a new analog horror set of videos. Based on my favorite movie franchise jurassic park. Much like some of the others it's rather bizarre.
I wish they would make this in real life, all eery and everything. This would attract tons of thrill seekers like me. I would LOVE to see something spooky like this.
Ryan just pops up and as i instantly click his vids those funny intros never seizes to disappoint.Keep it up man ryan with always making us smile and laugh
When Ryan put on the glasses for the intro I got a weird sense of nostalgia, no idea why I think because I remember him wearing them sometimes in videos
It was so creepy to me that the people looked human but were a little off, i know it’s probably because he used AI generated faces but if it was intentional that’s awesome
I know I'm late by a month, but I'm like 90% sure that the Liminal Land Anomaly ride is actually the Laugh Track. All the victims' faces were distorted into smiles, as if they laughed to death
Background on the name. Charon is the ferryman of the River Styx. The logo is a timepiece, similarly styled like the hourglass on a Black Widow spider.
If you actually call the number for the missing persons, a voicemail comes up for the police department and says to leave a message for any info on the missing persons at liminal land
This is very backrooms meets fleshcave national park. It’s a really cool idea, especially it being an energy source before becoming the park? Because the backrooms was originally (in its RUclips series) started as a way to generate clean energy before it went too out of control.
The anomaly could be a type of high pitched noise that nobody could hear but gives them an urge to go ride it and it only selects certain people as it’s victims
I love how 8-BitRyan does both reactions and gaming on here instead of doing them on separate channels. It makes it easier to find in my opinion and as well as he gets those views from both the reaction viewers and the gaming viewers too. What a cool thought to have. It helps him and his channel grow more and more and I like the aspect of it. Love the content Ryan and hope you ain't getting too stressed out over the content you are making.
It kind of feels like the dead is luring the living to it because it feels like there’s a lot of instances where they wanted to do something else intill they randomly went to go on the anomaly.
The part in the beginning with the national anthem cutting to a missing person was actually a real thing that happened. The chicago-based NBC affiliate known as WMAQ would end every broadcast night with the national anthem. In January of 1989 however, the anthem was abruptly cut by a still image of a missing persons poster for a woman named "Joanna Lopez", with the number for the Chicago PD missing persons department below. This still image remained on the screen all night long until broadcast began next morning, with either silence or some static noises.
8:21 my immediate thought there when he says that are the effects of the tower in little nightmares two. That might also explain in the previous images why the people looked a little "melted"

Oh yeah, to add onto that, it is also used as a popular flower for the Day of the Dead or Días de Los Muertos which is a Mexican holiday in November to celebrate the remembrance of the dead.
Nexpo did such a good job with this Analog Horror, its SO good
This is such an interesting concept. The fact that they did all this hard work and put it for us so we can try and analyze it such a cool concept.
@@danmakes2497 Thanks, wasn't aware of that. But the Liminal Land series might still have made use of the legend that grew up behind the photo.
Plus i do admire your dedication to your edits, its very well laid out and high quality, keep it up bro 😎
0:52 when I started the video I thought it was an ad until Ryan started talking
Before I clicked this video I already knew it was gonna be f-ing terrifying because the faces on the sides and the grandma in the middle was absolutely terrifying. Also why does Sherry Travis' smile look absolutely f-ing terrifying it was so creepy it sent a shiver down my spine and everything was overall creepy
The images are definitely ai generated. Still chilling tho
This is one of the best reaction vids Ryan has done. I would love to see more ARG of his channel!
These videos are super nostalgic to my childhood, just brings back the memories. Well, without the killing and deaths.
Glad to see liminal land is getting more attention Nexpo and Nick definitely deserve it
I love this because it’s like watching with a friend who won’t shut up. Which is good 👍 because it’s less scary. Like getting to watch the horror with your hand being held 😂
About this story when the video says "this place is alive" i think the park is some kind of a monster like the monster house movie and its just hiding his true colors, i think the roller coaster is a tale or a snake or something to make the roller coaster faster.
we are all so blessed with his upload schedule of different games every day
20:22 "the Hall of walls..just call it the backrooms" yeah
Great video as always Ryan! Keep making these vids Bro :D
I’d love to see a video covering the mystery flesh pit national park and the lore and story of that
Yo Ryan. Loving these creepy video reactions you started throwing in lately. ^^ Good stuff my dude. keep it up.
these videos are so fire, the analog horror gives a feeling no other videos can manage to capture,.
When a 8-BitRyan video is over 30 mins long, you know it's going to be good.
I was really disturbed by that third anomaly photo and Ryan's just like, "She's a bowling pin!" Lol. Good ol' Ryan.
Videos at 6 am: litterly the most happy stuff with the most energised music ever made...
Videos at 11 pm: the most scariest videos in youtube
I really enjoy the analog horror videos and I love how you’re expanding behind fnaf analog horror as well. Though those are still fire.
AI art generation is clearly a goldmine for spooky imagery to use in projects like this!
And since it distorts things in a way that only ai can, it avoids replacing artists to.
The training video saying "This is the person" makes me feel like maybe the other figures in the images are not people, but something else entirely.
I get scared but then Ryan’s reaction makes me laugh 😂 but my chest isn’t being compressed
That concept is scarier to me than any of this! A ride that forces you to laugh to levels of asphyxiation??? Nooooooooo thank you! 🤐
in pretty sure this is from an analog horror called “liminal land”, not 100% sure but the face at the end reminds me of it
These pictures are giving me AI art uncanny valley feels 😭
oh jesus lord when i first saw their faces I thought “huh kinda looks like prolonged exposure to radiation” and when ryan was reading about the hub, it confirmed that for me. I feel like Charon is using this to some extent
The npcs that immediately go to Ryan’s new video is crazy
The background sister location sound is perfect for scary videos
Whenever Ryan uploads, someone’s day gets better
Love you videos Ryan. I've recently discovered a new analog horror set of videos. Based on my favorite movie franchise jurassic park. Much like some of the others it's rather bizarre.
Anytime something scary shows on the screen, Ryan somehow ALWAYS makes me laugh with what he says
13:17 why is ryan reading a black screen
Background on the name. Charon is the ferryman of the River Styx. The logo is a timepiece, similarly styled like the hourglass on a Black Widow spider.
Ryan's theory's are absolutely magnificent
If you actually call the number for the missing persons, a voicemail comes up for the police department and says to leave a message for any info on the missing persons at liminal land
The picture seems to be made by AI,the quirky faces and I love it!

Seeing the thumbnail image makes me feel uneasy and prepared of what's coming up.😖😓 Keep up the great work Ryan!
P.S No nap for me today lol😨😧😂🤣
I love how you checked out Nexpo's beautiful creation! He and his friend put alot of work into this.
I am defenetly into Ryan deciding to react to more analog horror esc content
This is very backrooms meets fleshcave national park. It’s a really cool idea, especially it being an energy source before becoming the park? Because the backrooms was originally (in its RUclips series) started as a way to generate clean energy before it went too out of control.
This was freaking terrifying! Kudos to the person who made this! ✌
"Where were you when liminal land went down?"
Not even born yet 😂
I love it when it when ryan posts
These videos never disappoint
14:16 Never could I ever have imagined someone making that humorous
Damn I love how mysterious and creepy this is, can't wait for more videos!
"A HAUNTED THEME PARK" does not describe it, it's not haunted, it's anomalies.
The anomaly could be a type of high pitched noise that nobody could hear but gives them an urge to go ride it and it only selects certain people as it’s victims
Perhaps the sheer G-Force of the ride is what disfigures people.
Hey Ryan this is giving me dc comics joker vibes and it's pretty cool and ominous
Love it
You first
Congrats
Yes
Nothin' like a good 8-Bitryan video after a long day of running jumping off of rocks and fences.
Thanks Ryan!
Its confirmed that all of this happened in ohio
remember what u said 😭
cornball
Knew it smh
Knew it
Having more analog horror nightmares? Yes please
Every reaction videos from my childhood RUclipsr is just the best the fnaf VSH tapes are my favorites
I literally got shivers down my spine by those damn pictures i love it!
Had to minimise my screen lmao
@@Morgan-pt6id EXACTLY! 😭
Thank you for reacting again!!! Best background noise
8:21 my immediate thought there when he says that are the effects of the tower in little nightmares two. That might also explain in the previous images why the people looked a little "melted"
That Liminal Land menu screen is so cool and ominous, pretty much gives off horror game vibes.
All I can say is, I really enjoyed this.
And I want more of these types of series.
You can call the number on the missing signs and it leads to a voice-mail for a fake PD
i can fricking unsee the deformitys 🥲🔫
Maria's face after the ride: a zombie. Ryan: ITS A BOWLING PIN!
