I/m disabled and will never be able to do what Shaq does, but in my earlier days I volunteered for Habitat for Humanity, the Boy Scouts, and other volunteer organizations. I play the lottery every month in the hopes of winning just so I can be useful to society once again. Watching this video and feeling Shaq's generosity vicariously brings me to tears. I'm so glad that there is at least one good person with money out there helping the world. People like Bezos and Musk don't deserve their praise if they don't help humanity with their unlimited wealth.

Although I haven’t had the opportunity to meet Shaquille in person yet, it doesn’t seem like all of the fame and fortune has gone to his head. I’ve seen many many interviews with Shaq and he always has the same message: he knows what it feels like to grow up with nothing so he enjoys sharing his good fortune with those less fortunate. I haven't watched him play basketball before but when a wealthy celebrity is humble and remembers his/her roots thats what makes a person, not what you wear, how much money you earm or even what you do for a living what counts is the way you treat your fellow man.
