2021 Ford Bronco | Roush Performance Exhaust Install & Sound Clips!

- We installed Roush Performance's new exhaust for the 2021+ Ford Bronco recently and it sounds great! Check out the installation process, start up & drive by sound clips (and don't forget the bloopers at the end!).
Shop now: www.lethalperf...
INSTALL NOTES:
This exhaust will fit both the 2.3L and 2.7L Bronco, however installation requires you to remove the rear bumper cover & either replace or simply rotate the hanger bracket depending on which motor you have. This sounds daunting but is very easily done in your driveway.
Also, we removed the spare tire to remove the rear bumper. Another option would be to open the tailgate (guess we got a little carried away...).

Imagine how good it would sound with two more cylinders
While we do love the sound of a V8, we also know there's no sense crying over shoulda-coulda-wouldas. It is what it is and we're having a blast with it.
Imagine focusing on sound over performance.
Imagine how good it would sound with a Hemi
Lmao
6 cylinders sounds better than it being electric, be happy they still have 6
1k for a muffler and tip is crazy. I'd keep it stock for that price. You should get at least an intake for that price.
Can’t believe the hate in the comments. Other exhausts are cheaper, but do not sound the same, I’ll buy this exhaust when I get my bronco
Why in the world would a muffler be $1000? Because it says Roush on it? I really liked the sound and was about to order until I saw that.......No Thanks
1k for a muffler, and tip is crazy! The AWE is a couple hundred more, and you get the dual exhaust look with 2 large tips plus an off-road section to change out when wanted.
That song at the end tho... the name of the song in Spanish is " EL Sonidito " ( That Sound ) fit perfectly lol
Roush is cool but instead of spending $1000 plus labor try this…For $140 you could’ve added a Rough Country exhaust delete kit and would’ve sounded better. P.S the tip is also black
I really do like the deep throaty sound of that exhaust... I was all set to buy the MRT set, but now I'm not so sure. Decisions.. Decisions.
Mrt or roush?
Magnaflow’s overland catback is nice too. Have it on my Badlands.
Ihr seit echt die letzten youtuber
Thanks for sharing and great video!
Thanks for the awesome exhaust (and Intake!)
“Because Ford” because Roush couldn’t have adapted to the stock exhaust mount. They’re the first exhaust I’ve seen that you’ve had to do this to.
Why wouldn’t you just open the tailgate?
Yeah I guess that would have worked too 🤣🤣🤣. You’re hired!
@@Lethalcamp lmao 🤣 👍🏼
Was gonna ask the same thing, but checked comments first 😂 👍
@@toddfowler9863 Sometimes we do things the hard way... lol
I'm searching for the best channel with the best info on exhaust. Performance gains, with best sounds , with no increase in performance the sound is .... Just sound can y'all help
Your turbo is loud! What kind of blowoff valve do you have?
We run the Turbosmart Kompact dual port V19 blow off valve with vents to atmosphere instead of recirculating back into the intake. We have them listed on the site under part number TS-0223-1082. Let us know if you have any other questions.
lol those weld nuts are pretty strong aren't they 🤣
🤣🤣🤣
@@Lethalcamp I wouldn't have read the instructions either lol but it's a easy mistake people will make.
@@AndersonDrift So funny. Even when we said we needed to remove the spare and someone else on here commented "why not just open the tailgate?" LOL DOH!!!!
Nice sound, do you have to remove the bumper if you have a 2.3L turbo?
If you have a 2.3l you’ll still need to remove the bumper cover in order to flip the bracket 180 deg per the installation instructions. The bracket can’t be loosened without the bumper cover off. It’s actually really easy to do so don’t think too much of it.
1:33 That bracket was such a pain in the ass when I did the muffler delete on my Bronco. Come to find out you can just take off the rubber holder thing and the muffler comes straight off.
Hi tell me more please, going to install. Do I still need to remove bumper?
@@JackrabbitDave No don’t remove the bumper at all.
I like that steering wheel
What kind of power increase
We didn't do any back to back dyno testing on it. In all honesty I don't believe any exhaust upgrades on the broncos will provide any real gains over stock. However the sound difference is definitely noticeable. You really can't hear the stock exhaust so if you want a better sound I'd choose an exhaust for the Bronco mainly for sound and not for power increases. Let us know if you have any other questions.
What brand are your sunglasses? Lol I like them
They’re Costas. Hamlin model 🙌
I remember saying just the tip
AFE/Apollo! 3"
Question: will the sound from a 2.3L be about the same? I have the 2.3L and have to admit I questioned if I should have waited for the 2.7 (for 30 more HP and torque I won't need). The first comment my wife made about the Bronco - was can we change the exhaust so it sounds like it looks (she had a 69 Z28 in high school and believe it or not, one of the first Mustang Cobra with a turbo engine). So, at my age perception over performance carries some weight ;-).
In my opinion I feel the sound from these systems will be very similar on the 2.3L as the 2.7L. The same muffler is used between each platform and that's what dictates the tone. Thanks for watching and let us know if there's anything else we can help you with in the meantime.
One is a V6 and other a 4 so no
Do you have a blow off valve installed?
We have the UPR AMP blow off valve adapter installed on there now. We'll be installing and reviewing the new Turbosmart valves here just after the new year.
@@Lethalcamp I have a wildtrak and can't tell if it's sorta cool or ridiculous. What do you feel the consensus has been about yours?
@@matthewpasquale6624 I love hearing the blow off sound. It’s also not really loud or obnoxious.
Sounds good but a little pricey.
Sounds like it needs a coyote swap
very noice
They should have done a nasty N/A v8. This thing sounds like a lumina with an exhaust leak.
Sounds like a 4.0 that's stock
9:45 -that's for anybody who just wants to hear the sound, it sounds just like the 2018 Ford Raptor
Damn! $1,000.00 to make your wannabe Bronco sound like a Honda Civic! What a deal!!
🤣 Wannabe Bronco. Oh ok.
Ever see the 1966 Bronco? You know, the original Bronco.. I know, I know, "bronco had a v8" Well, straight 6 and a 289 v8 option with a whopping 200hp offered in 1966. You really want that?!
Last generation.. or the OJ generation came with a whopping 205hp and 270ft-lbs of torque in the V8. Mpg was from 13city to 17 highway with a combined 14mpg.
Speaking on my "wannabe" Bronco, 2.7l Outer Banks, 4 door, with Sasquatch (35s) I'm getting a combined 15.8mpg with 330hp and 410ft-lbs of torque.
Oh, and it's max towing in the v8 was 4000lbs. 500 more than the current. Which I'll take the sacrifice, I have a truck to tow with.
Those original broncos were nice, and the v8 sounds good when opened up, but 130hp to the ground is horrible. I take the fake bronco with the 2.7l any day over the old school. But yes, 1k for a muffler, and tip is crazy. It's not even a cat back exhaust.
Usually the ones that talk shit are the ones the cant afford them and drive shit boxes
Sounds like a Honda
I don't want to hear the exhaust at all.
V6 exhaust is a waist of money and also who wants a loud convertible? It’s not a race car
Some people like to hear their broncos. The stock exhaust doesn't have any sound to it.
That sounds horrible
